Description

The invention relates to a belt for attachment to a person to be secured, in particular climbing harness or personal protective equipment, with a hip belt, a leg strap and a roping, wherein the leg strap has two leg loops, each with two loop ends and the hip belt and leg strap at the Anseilpunkt such connected to each other, that the Anseilpunkt is arranged between the leg loops.

As belt is called a part of a safety equipment that is used in climbing, mountaineering, via ferrata or crash-prone work on the body is worn and by the connection between the person to be secured and a safety device against falling is made. The strap is usually made up of several loops, which are placed around the middle of the body as a waist belt and around the legs as a leg strap. The loops are brought together at a roping point with which a safety rope or a carabiner can be connected as a fall arrest device. The waist belt, the leg belt and an optional chest belt are adaptable to the body dimensions of the person to be secured, so on the one hand between person and belt forces transmitted safely and on the other hand can be prevented that the person to be secured inadvertently slips out of the belt. Harnesses for climbing in the leisure sector and for occupational safety are comparable to the basic structure, but have to fulfill different standards. For example, while the EN 12277 standard is relevant in the sports sector, the standard EN 361 for safety belts and the EN 358 standard for tethers.

The leg loops of the leg strap are usually connected to each other via a leg connection region, which in turn is connected to the arranged, for example, as Anseilring Anseilpunkt. In the belts known from the prior art, the leg connection region and the fastening point are made of one or more tapes, for example straps, edging tapes or a combination of the aforementioned tapes, or of individual cords. Since the leg connection area and the Anseilpunkt represent the most heavily used in terms of strength of the belt, the bands are sewn together individually, with particularly important seams are manually and sometimes very cumbersome. In that respect, the production requires the leg connection area and the Anseilpunkts despite the automation involved in recent years, still much laborious manual work to ensure appropriate safety and longevity of the belt. This explains why in the last decades in the prior art no fundamentally different embodiments for this one hand in the production of the most complex point and on the other hand in use most stressed point of the belt.

WO 02/28482 A1 describes protective equipment belts, in particular personal protective equipment belts and climbing harnesses, comprising a lumbar part, two leg parts and connecting parts between the lumbar part and the leg parts.

US 2005/072530 A1 describes a rope and Einhängegurt with a padded fabric whose opposite edges are reinforced by Stützschrägbänder that ensure the mechanical strength.

Based on this situation, it is an object of the invention to provide a belt, which is on the one hand much easier to produce in terms of Beinverbindungsbereiches and the Anseilpunk and on the other hand is more durable.

The object is solved by the features of the independent claim. Advantageous embodiments are specified in the subclaims.

Accordingly, the object is achieved by a belt for attachment to a person to be secured, in particular climbing harness or personal protective equipment, with a hip belt, a leg strap and a roping, wherein the leg strap has two leg loops, each with two loop ends, the two loop ends each in one extending between two opposite ends leg connecting portion such that two loop ends are arranged at each end, so that the leg connecting portion connects the leg loops, and the loop ends between the two ends are woven together to form the leg connecting portion, and the hip belt and the leg connecting portion are connected to the Anseilpunkt such that the Anseilpunkt is arranged between the leg loops.

An essential aspect of the proposed belt is that the loop ends are woven together in the leg connection area to form the same. While in the belts known from the prior art, the leg connection area was often made of individual sewn together tapes that had to be cumbersome stitched together, the proposed embodiment is characterized by an integrally designed leg connection area: The two loop ends of a leg loop go on the one End interwoven with each other in the leg connection region, are woven together in the leg connection region, and split at the other end into the two loop ends of the other leg loop. In this way, the leg connection region and therefore the belt can be produced much more simply because, on the one hand, no seam is no longer needed in the leg connection region and, on the other hand, the leg connection region is designed in a substantially simpler manner, in particular in one piece. Since no seams or the like are needed for the leg connection area, they can not be forgotten during manufacture or damaged in the use of the belt. By interweaving the loop ends to form the leg connection region, the production of the belt is significantly simplified, increases the longevity and thus improves safety.

The hip belt and / or the leg strap can be designed as known from the prior art, for example, have a padding, which is surrounded and / or edged by supporting Edging tapes, which are connected to the Anseilpunkt. In addition, on the hip belt, which is also referred to in the prior art as a waist belt or lumbar part, material carrying loops, an adjustment buckle and / or a binding point for connection to the Anseilpunkt be provided. More preferably, the hip belt, the leg belt and / or the Anseilpunkt one or more straps, the aforementioned binding bands, individual cords or a combination of the aforementioned bands or cords. The padding provided on the waist belt and / or on the leg strap may be made of a breathable material to increase the wearing comfort of the belt, for example, a spacer fabric, spacer fabric, spacer mesh and / or net-like padding. In addition, the padding may have its own transverse stiffness and / or in places transverse stiffening, so that the hip belt or leg strap behaves dimensionally stable under load or tension.

Although it is in principle possible for the upholstery to assume a supporting function, however, the binding bands preferably take up the forces and at the same time act as straps. The padding preferably has a thickness of less than 30 mm, preferably 20 mm. As bands, in particular as binding bands or straps for the hip belt and / or for the leg strap or the leg loops are preferably bands of high strength, synthetic materials such as polyethylene or polyamide use having a width of ≥ 20 mm and ≤ 50 mm and / or are designed as wide / narrow fabric, hereinafter called wide / narrow band. The Anseilpunkt is preferably configured that a rope, a carabiner, a Steigschutzläufer or the like can be connected to this.

In a preferred development, the loop ends are woven together and / or sewn together in the entire leg connection region. Preferably, the leg connection region is embodied in one piece and / or in one piece with the loop ends leading out at its two ends or at least with part of the loop ends, in particular woven on a jacquard machine or a jacquard loom. To increase the stability, the already interwoven loop ends can additionally be sewn together. Compared to the known from the prior art embodiments in which the leg connection area is designed only by sewn together straps from a wide / narrow band, a woven leg connection region further characterized by the fact that the friction between leg connection area and Anseilpunkt when moving the same against each other is substantially less , Since the Anseilpunkt and Beinverbindungsbereich is the most stressed point of the belt, the wear at this point is thereby lower, which leads to an increased life of the belt.

According to a particularly preferred embodiment, the leg connection region between its ends has a round cross section, in particular with a diameter ≥ 4 mm and ≦ 8 mm, the loop ends outside the leg connection region and in particular adjacent to this have a rectangular cross section, in particular with a width ≥ 15 mm and ≤ 50 mm, and / or the leg connection area extends between its ends ≥ 20 cm and ≤ 40 cm. In contrast, the Leg loops have a larger cross-section. Compared to a known from the prior art leg connection area of two sewn wide / narrow bands, the friction between the proposed leg connection region with a round cross-section and a running example, as Anseilring from a wide / narrow band Anseilpunkt again significantly lower, resulting in the safety and life of the Belt increased in a particularly advantageous manner.

In the configuration of the leg connecting portion of round cross-section in connection with loop ends, which have a rectangular cross-section outside of the leg connecting portion and in particular adjacent thereto, the leg connecting portion is characterized by two loop ends of a leg loop with a rectangular cross-section which at the one end in the leg connecting portion pass over with a round cross-section, and then split at the other end of the leg connection area in the other two loop ends of the other leg loop with again rectangular cross-section. The leg connection region is preferably arranged at the roping point such that the leg connection region is displaceable between its ends relative to the roping point and / or is guided through the roping point.

In a further particularly preferred embodiment, at least part of the leg connection region and at least one loop end of each leg loop are woven from at least one continuous thread. Preferably, the respective other loop end of each leg loop and another part of the leg connection area are also woven from a further, continuous thread. By using a continuous thread a particularly high stability is achieved and on the other hand enables easy production. Preferably, the leg connection area and the loop ends are woven in a single part. Still preferably, the leg connecting portion, the four loop ends and the two leg loops are woven in a single piece from a single continuous thread.

As already mentioned, various possibilities exist for the design of the approach point. Particularly preferably, the Anseilpunkt is designed as a rope loop, the hip belt and the leg connection area guided by the Anseilschlaufe and / or the Anseilschlaufe from a band with a rectangular cross-section, in particular designed as wide / narrow band. Likewise, the Anseilpunkt can be configured as Anseilring or as Anseilöse. Preferably, the hip belt at an upper end of the Anseilschlaufe and / or the leg connecting portion at a lower end of the Anseilschlaufe is connected thereto.

In a further particularly preferred embodiment, the leg connection region is made of a core thread and a wear layer enveloping the core thread, wherein the wear layer is configured to change its color and / or the color intensity of its color as the wear of the belt as the belt progresses, and / or the core thread is formed from a material which has a different color and / or a different color intensity of the color with respect to the wear layer. When using the belt, it is regularly such that the leg connection region scrubs at the hauling point and / or at a carabiner or the like. This wears off the wear layer and the differently colored, previously covered by the wear layer core thread comes to light. The person using the belt recognizes that the belt is to be replaced to maintain safety, even if continue to connect the leg thread and possibly a portion of the wear layer safely the leg strap with the Anseilpunkt.

By providing the core thread preferably completely enveloping wear layer an objective possibility is created to recognize the wear of the belt in a reliable manner. The core thread and / or the wear layer are preferably made of high-strength, synthetic materials such as polyethylene or polyamide, for example Dyneema. Particularly preferably, a plurality of interconnected core threads are provided, wherein the wear layer is also made of interwoven threads. Preferably, the wear layer surrounds the entire envelope surface of the core thread. Even more preferably, the wear layer, in sectional view, covers the core thread such that the thickness of the wear layer is ≦ 5%, ≦ 10% or ≦ 20% of the diameter of the core thread. The fact that in the leg connection region the loop ends are woven together to form a unit for forming the leg connection region, in contrast to the known from the prior art embodiments, in which the leg connection region, the fastener tapes the leg loops are sewn together and so far can not have the wearing tapes enveloping wear layer, recognize the wear of the belt in a reliable manner.

According to a further preferred embodiment, an angle between the loop ends branched off from the end is predetermined and is preferably ≥ 30 ° and ≦ 40 °. At the end of the leg connection area, the loop ends split in the direction of the leg loop. By thus predetermining the angle at which the loop ends branching off from the end extend away from each other, at least in the area adjacent to the leg connection area, optimal wearability of the belt can be ensured. An angle of ≥ 30 ° and ≦ 40 ° has been found to be particularly advantageous to, adapted to the human anatomy of the person secured with the belt, the leg loops adjoining the loop ends, on the one hand tight and, on the other hand, comfortably against one leg of the person to let.

For the embodiment of the hip belt, there are in principle various possibilities known from the prior art. According to a particularly preferred embodiment, however, it is provided that the hip belt has a round cross section in the region of the Anseilpunktes. The cross section preferably has a diameter of ≥ 4 mm and ≦ 8 mm. More preferably, the hip belt at least partially on a wide / narrow band with a wide / narrow cross section, which merges in the region of the Anseilpunktes in the round cross section and is woven with a round cross section. By providing the round cross-section, as well as the round cross-section leg connecting portion, the friction between the hip belt and the hauling point is reduced, thereby reducing the wear of the hip belt and improving the life of the belt.

According to a further preferred embodiment, the loop ends are connected or sewn to the leg loop by means of a connecting seam. In this embodiment, the leg connecting portion splits at its end in each case in the two loop ends, which extend for example over 10 cm and are sewn at their respective ends to the leg strap. In such a two-part production The leg connection region and the leg strap leg loop can be easily and independently produced and then joined together by sewing.

According to a still further preferred embodiment, a fixing band is formed on the leg connection region, which is woven, in particular, with the leg connection region, by means of which the leg connection region can be securely fixed to the fastening point. Alternatively, the fixing strap can also be sewn to the leg connection area, for example sewn onto the leg connection area. If the Anseilpunkt is designed as Anseilschleife, the fixing strap is preferably on both sides of the leg connection area and so engages around the Anseilschlaufe together with the Beinverbindungsbereich.

Fig. 1 shows a belt for application to a person to be secured according to a preferred embodiment of the invention in a schematic front view. The harness, which is used on the one hand for climbing and mountaineering in the sports field and on the other hand as part of a personal protective equipment, is also in Fig. 2 in a perspective Side / rear view shown and has a hip belt 1, a leg strap 2 and 3 Anseilpunkt.

The hip belt 1, also called abdominal belt or lumbar belt, is configured from a circumferential carrier band 4 or carrier fabric, which is variable in length by means of an adjustment buckle 5. The carrier tape 4 or carrier fabric is made of a high-strength, synthetic material such as polyethylene or polyamide and has in the region of the adjustment buckle 5 a width of 40 mm. On the inside of the carrier tape 4, a padding 6 is provided, which is made of a breathable material and has a thickness of 2 to 10 mm. The padding 6 is glued to the carrier tape 4 or carrier fabric, sewn or connected in any other way. The leg strap 2 has two carrying loops 7, which are also configured from a carrier tape with internal padding.

The Anseilpunkt 3 is designed as Anseilschlaufe 8 and has as the carrier tape 4 and carrier fabric of the hip belt 1, a wide / narrow band of high-strength, synthetic material with a width of 10 to 30 mm. Both the hip belt 1 and a leg connecting region 9 connecting the two leg loops 7 are guided through the fastening loop 8. In the Anseilschlaufe 8, for example, a carabiner is latched, by means of which the person secured with the belt person with a fall arrester or the like for securing against crash is connectable.

The leg connection region 9 extends between two opposite ends 10, wherein the Anseilpunkt 3 is arranged approximately centrally between the two ends 10. Each of the two leg loops 7 has two loop ends 11, which merge in the direction of the leg connection region 9 in the leg connection region 9, namely between the two ends 10 woven together form the leg connection region 9.

In contrast to known from the prior art leg joints, in which the ligaments of the leg loops sewn together form the leg connection, in this case the leg connecting portion 9 is formed by the fact that the loop ends 11 of each leg loop 7 are each interwoven starting from the respective end 10. While the loop ends 11 in the area of the end 10 and outside the leg connection area 9 adjacent to this have a rectangular cross section with a width of 30 mm, the leg connecting portion 9 extends between its ends 10 over 30 cm, varying depending on the size of the belt, with a round cross section of 5 mm.

Due to the round cross-section of the leg connection region 9, the friction between the leg connection region 9 and the hanger loop 8 is substantially lower in comparison to leg connections known from the prior art with wide / narrow band tapes sewn together.

For positionally secure fixation of the leg connection region 9 relative to the Anseilpunkt 3 a Fixierband 12 is formed on the leg connecting portion 9, indicated by a bar, which is also designed as wide / narrow band, sewn to the leg connecting portion 9 or interwoven with this.

Although it is basically possible to weave the two leg loops 7 and the leg connecting portion 9 from a continuous thread, in this case the leg connecting portion 9 and one loop end 11 of each leg loop 7 is woven from a continuous thread. The respective loop ends 11 are connected or sewn to the respective leg loop 7 with a connecting seam 13. Alternatively, both leg loops 7, the four loop ends 11 and the leg connecting portion 9 may be woven from a single thread.

In order to provide a comfortable fit for the leg loops 7, an angle between each of the respective end 10 branching loop ends 11 is predetermined and is how the only leg strap 2 with leg connection region 9 in detail pointing Fig. 3 apparent, in the present case about 30 °. In order to reduce the friction between the hanger loop 8 and the hip belt 1, the lanyard 4 or carrier fabric of the hip belt 1 is woven in the region 14 of the hitching point 3 in a round cross section.

Fig. 4 shows a section of the leg connecting portion 9 with branching off thereof loop ends 11. In the upper part of the FIG. 4 the leg connecting portion 9 is shown in sectional view with a round cross section. From the cross section it can be seen that the leg connection region 9 is made of a core thread 15 and a wear layer 16 surrounding the core thread 15. The wear layer 16 surrounds the entire surface of the core thread 15th

The core thread 15 and the wear layer 16 are, if only Fig. 4 shown schematically, each made of a plurality of interwoven threads made of polyethylene or polyamide, the core thread 15 with respect to the wear layer 16 has a different color. Alternatively, the wear layer 16 may be configured to change its color as the wear of the belt progresses as the belt is used.

Bezugszeichenliste Hüftgurt 1 Beingurt 2 Anseilpunkt 3 Tragband 4 Verstellschnalle 5 Polsterung 6 Beinschlaufe 7 Anseilschlaufe 8 Beinverbindungsbereich 9 Ende 10 Schlaufenende 11 Fixierband 12 Verbindungsnaht 13 Bereich 14 Kernfaden 15 Verschleißschicht 16 Because the fact that the leg connecting portion 9 is shifted relative to the Anseilschlaufe 8 in this, arises between the Anseilschlaufe 8 and the leg connecting portion 9 friction. Due to the friction reduces the thickness of the wear layer 16, so that after some time, the core thread 15 comes to light. Since the core thread 15 with respect to the wear layer 16 has a different color, the person secured with the belt recognizes that to maintain the safety of the belt or the leg strap 2 is replaced.
