Definitions
- the subject matter of the invention is an adjustable guide rail for a guide rail for a sun protection system containing a holding element, a fastening element and a counter element according to the preamble of claim 1.
- Guide rails are usually used to guide the hangings of sun protection systems that are to be attached to openings such as windows or doors in a building.
- the guide rails can be located outside the windows or doors of the building, they can also be located on the window frame, in the window reveal or between a window made up of several parallel panes.
- An example of such a guide rail is from the document US2015 / 0345215 A1 known.
- These guide rails are attached either directly or with spacer plates in a channel running in the frame or the wall in order to remain invisible to the viewer. The number and thickness of the spacer plates depends on the difference between the clear width of the opening and the width of the sun protection system. The clear width of the opening is only known when the sun protection system is installed and is often variable over the height of the opening.
- the fitter has a corresponding number of spacer plates available on site in order to fasten the sun protection system in the side walls delimiting the opening. If necessary, these spacer plates can be placed on the side behind the already mounted Guide rails can be pushed and hung on a screw. Such spacer plates are also used for recessed guides. They are glued to the back of the guide rail because they can no longer be pushed behind the guide rail after the guide rail has been installed. However, this assembly process can only be carried out step by step until the distance between the guide rail and the side wall of the opening is correctly set. To do this, the guide rail must be dismantled before any further gluing process is carried out and then reassembled to check whether the distance is set correctly.
- EP 1 647 667 A1 Figure 12 shows a spacer attached between a curtain guide and a guide holder.
- the spacer contains a pin and a nut which has two different width dimensions, one of the width dimensions being larger than the other width dimension, so that the nut can be blocked in a position between the two side walls of the guide because the width dimension is larger than the distance between the Sidewalls is. Due to the shape of the nut there seems to be a possibility of adjustment, So the setting of the distance after the installation of the guide rail in the housing, not to be given.
- DE 100 08 855 A1 shows a device for adjusting the height of a slide rail for adjusting the height of a door.
- this device does not seem to be accessible via an opening in the slide rail, so that this device can only be used when the door leaf is unhooked. If it is not possible to remove the element to be adjusted, in this case a sun blind, in order to gain access to the adjustment device, adjustment can no longer be made.
- DE 10 2014 202 797 B3 discloses a spacer for a running rail of a sliding sash of a door or a window.
- the spacer is formed by wedge elements, wherein at least one of the wedge elements can be brought into the desired position with a tool.
- a rotary wedge element can be provided which is provided with teeth, the rotary wedge element being provided by means of centering and guide elements which allow the rotary wedge elements to rotate relative to one another.
- This adjustment device is not used to adjust the width, but to adjust the inclination.
- the DE 101 42 122 A1 shows a clamp holder for fastening connecting rods or running rails.
- This clamp consists of a hollow cylindrical extension in which an adjustment bearing with a External thread and a fastening member rotatably held therein are held with a corresponding internal thread.
- the adjustment bearing is equipped with a knurl which enables it to be adjusted relative to the fastening member.
- the knurling is in turn surrounded by the extension carrying the running rail receptacle, so that an adjustment of the adjusting device in the assembled state no longer appears possible.
- document CH 565 340 A5 shows an adjusting device for a tubular element. This adjustment device does not have a holding element which is fastened to a guide rail and can therefore not be used as an adjustment device for a guide rail for a sun protection system.
- a guide rail for a sun protection system for rolling up the elevator ropes for a Roman blind or for rolling in the elements of a roller shutter.
- This guide rail is clamped between two side walls of a window reveal via a clamping element.
- the clamping element is accommodated in a housing which is designed as a C-profile and in which a clamping screw is attached.
- An adjusting element is rotatably arranged on the clamping screw, on which a spacer element is held, which adjoins the end of the guide rail and can pretension it when the adjusting element is actuated, so that the guide rail is held in the window reveal.
- This tensioning element must be aligned parallel to the window width in the horizontal direction as well have a constant normal distance to the window.
- a guide rail for a large window front of several meters in height can have considerable deviations from the mean value, so that under certain circumstances the assembly cannot be carried out by a single person.
- a guide rail is provided for this purpose, which runs vertically in each of the side walls of the opening for the window or door.
- This guide rail must also be guided in a channel in the side wall.
- the side wall can be part of the masonry, can be part of the window or door frame or a frame element which is inserted into the masonry and extends, for example, outside or inside the window or door frame. The channel which is used to receive this guide rail is thus arranged in the side wall.
- This side wall can for example be part of the masonry, the masonry usually not being exactly vertical is bricked so that the guide rail cannot be positioned exactly in the vertical direction in the duct.
- vertical alignment is essential for guiding the same, since such awnings can jam if they deviate from the vertical direction. There is therefore a need to simplify this assembly process and thus accelerate it. In particular, it should be possible to adjust the guide rail in the assembled state.
- a frame system arrangement for holding surface elements, in particular sliding door and window sashes with a compensation profile is known.
- the compensation profile is arranged displaceably in a base profile by means of an adjusting screw.
- the adjusting screw which connects the base profile and the guide profile, can be rotated and is mounted on its threaded bolt so that it can be rotated with a screwdriver on the front side.
- the frame system arrangement described in the document requires, in addition to the guide profile for the door or window sash, a base profile extending over the entire length of the first profile. On the one hand, this base profile increases the overall profile height and thus the clear cross-section of the door or window, and also results in high assembly and material costs.
- One object of the present invention is to create an adjusting device for an adjustable guide rail which enables the guide rail to be easily installed in a side wall of an opening in the building, for example a window or door jamb, which enables the guide rail to be aligned during installation .
- An adjusting device contains an essentially vertical guide rail for guiding a side edge of a curtain of a sun protection system.
- the adjusting device contains a holding element, a fastening element and a counter element.
- the holding element and the counter element are provided with corresponding engagement elements, so that the distance between the holding element and the counter element can be changed by the engagement elements.
- the holding element is attached to the guide rail.
- the retaining element and the When the counter element is actuated, guide rails can be displaced relative to the fastening element, so that the guide rail can be aligned in the vertical direction.
- the guide rail contains at least two holding elements, which are provided with counter elements and corresponding engagement elements.
- the counter element is in particular rotatable relative to the holding element. The rotational movement of the counter element changes the distance between the holding element and thus the associated guide rail from a support surface, for example a wall section, so that the position of the guide rail in relation to the wall section can be adjusted.
- the y-axis extends in the direction of the depth the window or the door.
- the adjusting device is suitable for setting the distance between the guide rail and the wall section in the x direction.
- the width of the opening of the building that is to say in particular the width of the window or the door, can be variable in different heights of the wall section, so that these differences can be compensated for by using the adjustment device.
- the counter-element can be rotated about a central axis of the holding element.
- the axis of rotation of the counter element corresponds to the central axis of the holding element.
- the guide rail has a longitudinal axis which is arranged essentially normal to the central axis.
- the guide rail has a width which is smaller than the width of the recess receiving the guide rail, for example in a wall. Therefore, an intermediate space remains between the wall and the guide rail, which space can also be accessible after the guide rail has been positioned in the recess. The space in between can be covered by a panel afterwards.
- the engagement element of the holding element is designed as a cylinder section which contains an external thread.
- the counter element is designed as a bore which contains an internal thread.
- the cylinder section can be received in the bore of the counter element and the external thread engages in the internal thread.
- the length of the bore can correspond to the length of the cylinder section.
- the entire cylinder section is thus available as an engagement surface.
- a spring element is provided in order to exert a compressive force on the holding element.
- the guide rail can be precisely adjusted by means of the spring element, since the compressive force of the spring element causes the Connecting element of the guide rail is pressed against the head element of the fastening element or the fastening elements.
- the spring element can also be arranged between the holding element and the counter element, so that the holding element is braced against the counter element.
- the counter element has a gripping element.
- This gripping element has a plurality of radially extending spokes. These radially running spokes make handling easier because the assembly worker can grip the spokes with one hand. In particular, this enables tool-free adjustment of the guide rail.
- the gripping element can have a plurality of tooth-like elevations, grooves, ribs, knobs or the like, which can extend in the radial or axial direction.
- an opening can be provided in the guide rail through which the gripping elements can be actuated by means of a tool, for example a screwdriver. This variant is advantageous because, even after the channel has been closed by the guide rail, it is possible to adjust the guide rail.
- the holding element can have a receiving element for receiving a fastening element.
- the receiving element is fastened to the guide rail and the receiving element and the guide rail are fastened to the wall.
- the holding element is thus non-rotatably with in the fastened state connected to the guide rail.

- the guide rail has an opening running in the direction of the longitudinal axis, for example a longitudinal slot.
- the adjustment device Compared to the use of spacer plates, the adjustment device according to one of the preceding exemplary embodiments has the advantage that the variable distance between the side wall and the side edges of the curtain of the sun protection system can be set with an adjustable spacer element. To do this, the sun protection system, in particular its guide rail, does not have to be repeatedly removed from the reveal.
- the adjustable spacer element is thus designed, according to one of the preceding exemplary embodiments, as a holding element with an associated counter element.
- the assembly can be made simpler and safer, since the adjusting device does not contain any individual parts, such as loose screws, which can be lost during the assembly process.
- the guide rail is fastened to the wall before the guide element is installed, so that in a first installation step the guide rail is fastened to the wall by means of the fastening element (s) and the guide element and the curtain are installed in a second installation step and in a third installation step the fine adjustment takes place by means of the adjustment device.
- the curtain can already be clamped in for fine adjustment, so that the effects of the adjustment on the tension of the curtain can be determined directly in the installed state, in particular are visually perceptible.
- variable distance between the inner wall of the channel and the guide rail can be filled by the adjustable spacer element without the guide rail having to be removed again. Removing the guide rail would mean that the fastening elements would have to be released again. This increased expenditure of time can be avoided by using the spacer element.
- the spacer element can be viewed as a system which consists of a holding element and a counter-element which form a screw-nut system.
- the holding element is non-rotatably connected to the guide rail. The distance between the guide rail and the inner wall is adjusted by the counter element.
- Access to the spacer element for the purpose of adjustment can be made as follows: The holding element or the counter-element is adjusted through the opening in the guide rail that can later be closed by the guide element.
- This assembly variant is only possible if the guide element with the curtain is only fitted into the guide rail after the guide rail has been adjusted.
- the counter element is adjusted to the side of the guide rail. This variant requires access to the counter element from the side which contains the guide rail.
- a longitudinally split guide rail In the case of a longitudinally divided guide rail, a first partial guide rail and a second partial guide rail are used, wherein the second partial guide rail can be connected to the first partial guide rail after the adjustment has been completed.

Guide rails are usually used to guide the hangings of sun protection systems that are to be attached to openings such as windows or doors in a building. The guide rails can be located outside the windows or doors of the building, they can also be located on the window frame, in the window reveal or between a window made up of several parallel panes. An example of such a guide rail is from the document
These guide rails are attached either directly or with spacer plates in a channel running in the frame or the wall in order to remain invisible to the viewer. The number and thickness of the spacer plates depends on the difference between the clear width of the opening and the width of the sun protection system. The clear width of the opening is only known when the sun protection system is installed and is often variable over the height of the opening. It is therefore necessary that the fitter has a corresponding number of spacer plates available on site in order to fasten the sun protection system in the side walls delimiting the opening. It is true that dismantling can be simplified if so-called keyholes are provided for fastening by means of a screw connection, which allow the guide rail to be dismantled without completely loosening the screw connection. However, this assembly process also requires an iterative procedure, that is to say a plurality of adaptation steps, which results in increased assembly times and thus increased assembly costs.

In addition, a guide rail for a large window front of several meters in height can have considerable deviations from the mean value, so that under certain circumstances the assembly cannot be carried out by a single person. If such a sun protection system has a roller shutter, a slat blind or a sheet of fabric that is guided laterally, a guide rail is provided for this purpose, which runs vertically in each of the side walls of the opening for the window or door. This guide rail must also be guided in a channel in the side wall. The side wall can be part of the masonry, can be part of the window or door frame or a frame element which is inserted into the masonry and extends, for example, outside or inside the window or door frame.
The channel which is used to receive this guide rail is thus arranged in the side wall. This side wall can for example be part of the masonry, the masonry usually not being exactly vertical is bricked so that the guide rail cannot be positioned exactly in the vertical direction in the duct. In particular for Zip awnings, however, vertical alignment is essential for guiding the same, since such awnings can jam if they deviate from the vertical direction.
There is therefore a need to simplify this assembly process and thus accelerate it. In particular, it should be possible to adjust the guide rail in the assembled state.

One object of the present invention is to create an adjusting device for an adjustable guide rail which enables the guide rail to be easily installed in a side wall of an opening in the building, for example a window or door jamb, which enables the guide rail to be aligned during installation .
This object is achieved by an adjustable guide rail according to
According to one embodiment, the guide rail contains at least two holding elements, which are provided with counter elements and corresponding engagement elements. The counter element is in particular rotatable relative to the holding element. The rotational movement of the counter element changes the distance between the holding element and thus the associated guide rail from a support surface, for example a wall section, so that the position of the guide rail in relation to the wall section can be adjusted.
If the x-axis of an imaginary Cartesian coordinate system runs through the horizontal wall section or the lintel along the window width or door width, and the z-axis of the coordinate system runs along the height of the window or door, the y-axis extends in the direction of the depth the window or the door. The adjusting device is suitable for setting the distance between the guide rail and the wall section in the x direction. The width of the opening of the building, that is to say in particular the width of the window or the door, can be variable in different heights of the wall section, so that these differences can be compensated for by using the adjustment device.
In particular, the counter-element can be rotated about a central axis of the holding element. According to one embodiment the axis of rotation of the counter element corresponds to the central axis of the holding element.
According to one exemplary embodiment, the guide rail has a longitudinal axis which is arranged essentially normal to the central axis. According to one exemplary embodiment, the guide rail has a width which is smaller than the width of the recess receiving the guide rail, for example in a wall. Therefore, an intermediate space remains between the wall and the guide rail, which space can also be accessible after the guide rail has been positioned in the recess. The space in between can be covered by a panel afterwards.
According to the invention, the engagement element of the holding element is designed as a cylinder section which contains an external thread. The counter element is designed as a bore which contains an internal thread. The cylinder section can be received in the bore of the counter element and the external thread engages in the internal thread. According to one embodiment, the length of the bore can correspond to the length of the cylinder section. The entire cylinder section is thus available as an engagement surface.
According to one embodiment, a spring element is provided in order to exert a compressive force on the holding element. The guide rail can be precisely adjusted by means of the spring element, since the compressive force of the spring element causes the Connecting element of the guide rail is pressed against the head element of the fastening element or the fastening elements. In particular, the spring element can also be arranged between the holding element and the counter element, so that the holding element is braced against the counter element.
According to the invention, the counter element has a gripping element. This gripping element has a plurality of radially extending spokes. These radially running spokes make handling easier because the assembly worker can grip the spokes with one hand. In particular, this enables tool-free adjustment of the guide rail. According to another exemplary embodiment, the gripping element can have a plurality of tooth-like elevations, grooves, ribs, knobs or the like, which can extend in the radial or axial direction. In particular, an opening can be provided in the guide rail through which the gripping elements can be actuated by means of a tool, for example a screwdriver. This variant is advantageous because, even after the channel has been closed by the guide rail, it is possible to adjust the guide rail.
In particular, the holding element can have a receiving element for receiving a fastening element. By means of the fastening element, the receiving element is fastened to the guide rail and the receiving element and the guide rail are fastened to the wall. The holding element is thus non-rotatably with in the fastened state connected to the guide rail. The receiving element can contain a threaded section. According to a variant, a plurality of fastening elements can be provided for the holding element if the holding element is to be connected to the guide rail and the wall at several points. In particular, fastening elements can be arranged offset to the adjusting elements.
According to a variant, the connecting element can contain a latching element. For example, the latching element can have a clip element or hook element, by means of which the holding element can be fastened in its position.
In particular, the guide rail can have an inside bearing surface and an outside bearing surface, a connecting element extending between the inside and the outside bearing surface, the connecting element being connected to the holding element.
According to one embodiment, an inside arm element can connect to the inside support surface, and an outside arm element can connect to the outside support surface, at least one of the inside or outside arm elements being designed to receive a guide element which is arranged between the inside arm element and the outside arm element, to accommodate a curtain of the sun protection system, in particular a length of fabric, a plurality of slats or a roller shutter.
According to one embodiment, the guide rail has an opening running in the direction of the longitudinal axis, for example a longitudinal slot.
Compared to the use of spacer plates, the adjustment device according to one of the preceding exemplary embodiments has the advantage that the variable distance between the side wall and the side edges of the curtain of the sun protection system can be set with an adjustable spacer element. To do this, the sun protection system, in particular its guide rail, does not have to be repeatedly removed from the reveal.
The adjustable spacer element is thus designed, according to one of the preceding exemplary embodiments, as a holding element with an associated counter element.
By using the adjusting device according to one of the preceding exemplary embodiments, the assembly can be made simpler and safer, since the adjusting device does not contain any individual parts, such as loose screws, which can be lost during the assembly process. The guide rail is fastened to the wall before the guide element is installed, so that in a first installation step the guide rail is fastened to the wall by means of the fastening element (s) and the guide element and the curtain are installed in a second installation step and in a third installation step the fine adjustment takes place by means of the adjustment device. In particular, the curtain can already be clamped in for fine adjustment, so that the effects of the adjustment on the tension of the curtain can be determined directly in the installed state, in particular are visually perceptible.
For this purpose, the variable distance between the inner wall of the channel and the guide rail can be filled by the adjustable spacer element without the guide rail having to be removed again. Removing the guide rail would mean that the fastening elements would have to be released again. This increased expenditure of time can be avoided by using the spacer element. The spacer element can be viewed as a system which consists of a holding element and a counter-element which form a screw-nut system. The holding element is non-rotatably connected to the guide rail. The distance between the guide rail and the inner wall is adjusted by the counter element.
Access to the spacer element for the purpose of adjustment can be made as follows:
The holding element or the counter-element is adjusted through the opening in the guide rail that can later be closed by the guide element. This assembly variant is only possible if the guide element with the curtain is only fitted into the guide rail after the guide rail has been adjusted.
The counter element is adjusted to the side of the guide rail. This variant requires access to the counter element from the side which contains the guide rail.
One way of ensuring this access is to use a longitudinally split guide rail. In the case of a longitudinally divided guide rail, a first partial guide rail and a second partial guide rail are used, wherein the second partial guide rail can be connected to the first partial guide rail after the adjustment has been completed.
The width of the counter element projects beyond the guide rail so that it remains accessible from the side of the guide rail.
In the event that a longitudinally divided guide rail is used, there is a gap between the first partial guide rail and the inner side wall of the channel, which gap can optionally be closed by the second partial guide rail.
Longitudinally divided guide rails are often used in certain sun protection systems, such as Zip awnings. Precise positioning of the guide rail is required precisely for such a sun protection system, since otherwise tensions are introduced into the curtain which can block movement of the curtain in the guide rail.
