Abstract

Unité de galetage pour l'usinage des surfaces de roulement d'essieux montés de véhicules ferroviaires, qui comporte au moins un rouleau de galetage de renforcement à l'aide duquel la surface de roulement de roue à usiner à l'état neuf après fabrication de l'essieu monté ou à un moment ultérieur après un reprofilage pour augmenter la durée de vie des surface de roulement de roues est soumise à un galetage de renforcement. L'objet de la présente invention concerne la mise au point d'une unité de galetage à l'aide de laquelle les surfaces de roulement de roues peuvent être galetées à l'aide de rouleaux de galetage de renforcement selon un procédé d'avance. À cet effet, l'unité de galetage comporte un corps de base (1) sur lequel un bras de support (2) est disposé perpendiculairement à la surface de base, bras de support dans lequel s'appuie un élément récepteur (5) qui est fixé d'un côté par un filet dans le bras de support (2) et sur lequel est disposé un roulement à billes à contact oblique (4) sur lequel est installé un rouleau de galetage de renforcement (3) qui présente au moins deux rayons de galetage (R1; R2) différents.
