Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zum Abdichten zweier Trennflächen, insbesondere zum Abdichten eines Pumpengehäuses mit einer daran befestigbaren Anschlussplatte, wobei das Verfahren umfasst: Vorsehen einer Nut in einer ersten Trennfläche, wobei die Nut sich vorzugsweise aus einer Ebene erstreckt, die durch die erste Trennfläche definiert ist, Nacharbeiten der ersten Trennfläche, vorzugsweise durch ein materialabtragendes Werkzeug, Einbringen eines Dichtmittels in die Nut, und Anlegen der zweiten Trennfläche an die mit Nut und Dichtmittel versehene erste Trennfläche, wobei vorzugsweise die zweite Trennfläche an der ersten Trennfläche befestigt wird, wobei die erste Trennfläche ein Gussteil ist und die Nut bereits in einem entsprechenden Gussrohling vorgesehen ist, und beim Nacharbeiten der ersten Trennfläche die Bezugsebene für einen Materialabtrag ein in der Nut verlaufender Nutboden ist.
