Claims (7)

  1. Procédé de finition d'une surface périphérique (2) d'une pièce à usiner (1) de forme ondulée, au moyen d'une bande de finition (10) comportant une surface d'usinage, comprenant au moins les étapes suivantes consistant à :
    - entraîner la pièce à usiner (1) en un déplacement en rotation à l'aide d'un système d'entraînement,
    - presser la surface d'usinage (5) de la bande de finition (10) sur la surface périphérique (2) présentant une première forme de profil, à l'aide d'un dispositif de pression (3), la bande de finition (10) étant sélectionnée en fonction d'une deuxième forme de profil, prévue à l'issue de la finition, différente de la première forme de profil de la surface périphérique (2), une distribution dans l'espace de l'aptitude à la coupe de la surface d'usinage (5) de la bande de finition (10) le long d'un axe de rotation de la pièce à usiner (2) prédéfinissant la deuxième forme de profil prévue, sur au moins un endroit axial de la pièce à usiner (1) étant enlevée une plus grande quantité de matière que sur un autre endroit axial, décalé à la parallèle de l'axe de rotation, caractérisé en ce que la surface d'usinage (5) de la bande de finition (10) qui est adjacente à la surface périphérique (2) de la pièce à usiner (1) comporte au moins une première zone (6) faisant preuve d'une première aptitude à la coupe et au moins une deuxième zone (7) faisant preuve d'une deuxième aptitude à la coupe, se différenciant de la première aptitude à la coupe et une ligne de séparation entre la première zone (6) et la deuxième zone (7) le long de la direction du déplacement en rotation de la surface périphérique s'écoulant en forme de zigzag ou en forme d'onde.
  2. Dispositif de finition d'une surface périphérique (2) d'une pièce à usiner (1) de forme ondulée, comprenant un système d'entraînement destiné à produire un déplacement en rotation de la pièce à usiner (2) et un dispositif de pression (3), destiné à presser une bande de finition (10) sur la surface périphérique (2) de la pièce à usiner (1) en rotation, en cours de fonctionnement, par une surface d'usinage (5), la bande de finition (10) étant adjacente à la surface périphérique (2) et la surface périphérique (2) présentant une première forme de profil et la surface d'usinage (5) comportant des zones (6, 7) de différente aptitude à la coupe, une distribution dans l'espace de l'aptitude à la coupe le long d'un axe de rotation de la pièce à usiner (2) prédéfinissant une deuxième forme de profil prévue à l'issue de la finition, différente de la première forme de profil de la surface périphérique (2), en cours de fonctionnement, sur au moins un endroit axial de la pièce à usiner (1) étant enlevée une plus grande quantité de matière que sur un autre endroit axial, décalé à la parallèle de l'axe de rotation, caractérisé en ce qu'en cours de fonctionnement, la surface d'usinage (5) de la bande de finition (10) qui est adjacente à la surface périphérique (2) de la pièces à usiner (1) comporte au moins une première zone (6) faisant preuve d'une première aptitude à la coupe et au moins une deuxième zone (7) faisant preuve d'une deuxième aptitude à la coupe, se différenciant de la première aptitude à la coupe et une ligne de séparation entre la première zone (6) et la deuxième zone (7) le long de la direction du déplacement en rotation de la surface périphérique s'écoulant en forme de zigzag ou en forme d'onde.
  3. Dispositif selon la revendication 2, pour produire une deuxième forme de profil bombée à partir d'une première forme de profil rectiligne de la surface périphérique (2), l'aptitude à la coupe de la surface d'usinage de la bande de finition (10) étant la plus importante sur des bords (8) de la surface d'usinage (5) et étant plus faible au centre (9).
  4. Dispositif selon la revendication 2, pour produire une deuxième forme de profil concave à partir d'une première forme de profil rectiligne de la surface périphérique (2), l'aptitude à la coupe de la surface d'usinage (5) de la bande de finition (10) étant la plus faible sur des bords (8) de la surface d'usinage et étant la plus importante au centre (9).
  5. Dispositif selon la revendication 2, pour produire une deuxième forme de profil gothique à partir d'une première forme de profil régulièrement ronde de la surface périphérique (2), l'aptitude à la coupe de la surface d'usinage (5) de la bande de finition (10) comportant à la transversale de la direction du déplacement en rotation de la surface périphérique (2) au moins trois maxima ou minima locaux.
  6. Dispositif selon l'une quelconque des revendications 2 à 5, l'aptitude à la coupe locale de la surface d'usinage (5) de la bande de finition (10) étant prédéfinie par au moins l'un des paramètres suivants :
    - le type de grain
    - la matière du grain,
    - la taille de grain,
    - la densité du grain et
    - l'orientation du grain.
  7. Procédé selon la revendication 1, avec un outil présentant les caractéristiques de l'une quelconque des revendications 3 à 6.
