Dazu wird das Verschlusssystem mit einem Sicherheitssystem ergänzt.
Aus der DE 10 2009 056 735 A1 ist eine fremd angetriebene Waffe mit einer Munitionszuführung bekannt, bei der die Munition vor den Verschluss gelegt und diese vom Verschluss einem Waffenrohr linear zugeführt wird. In einer der Schaltzyklen wird der Verschluss mit dem Waffenrohr verriegelt und die Munition bzw. Patrone gezündet. Dabei ist sichergestellt, dass das Zünden bei voll verriegeltem Verschluss erfolgt.
Einen selektiven sowie zuschaltbaren Verschluss- und / oder Munitionsantrieb offenbaren die DE 10 2010 051 047 A1 sowie die DE 10 2010 027 636 A1 . Auch hier wird eine Verschlusssicherheit vorausgesetzt. Der in DE 10 2006 037 306 A offenbarte Verschluss ist Ausgangslage für das Verschlusssystem nach Anspruch 1.

Der Verschlussträger 2 läuft weiter, bis der Verschlusskopf 3 mit seinem Bund 3.2 die Durchführung 11.1 und dabei die Verriegelungswarzen 11.2 erreicht hat. Mit der Unterstellung der Schlagbolzen-Hauptfahne 7.2 durch den Stößel 4 wird die Schlagbolzenfeder 7.1 gespannt.
Bei der nachfolgenden Bewegung des Verschlussträgers 2 wird der Verriegelungsbolzen 6, der durch den Winkelhebel 5 freigegeben wurde, entlang seiner Verriegelungskurve im Verschlussträger 2 (oben) geführt. Mit dem Ablaufen der Verriegelungskurve durch den Verriegelungsbolzen 6 (D1), erfolgt eine Drehung (D2) des Verschlusskopfes 3 um ca. 30° und damit das Verriegeln des Verschlusses bzw. des Verschlusskopfes 3 in der Verriegelungshülse 11. Hierbei greifen die Verriegelungswarzen 11.2 sowie die Verschlusskopfwarzen 3.1 hinter- bzw. ineinander. Der Verschluss ist über den Verschlusskopf 3 ist in der Waffe verriegelt.
Mit dem Drehen des Verschlusskopfes 3 im Verschlussträger 2 verdreht sich auch die Schlagbolzen-Hauptfahne 7.2, sodass diese über eine Abzugskante 4.4 des Stößels 4 nach vorne ausweichen kann. Der Schlagbolzen 7 im Verschlusskopf 3 kann sich unter der Kraft der Schlagbolzenfeder 7.1 nach vorne bewegen, ein Schuss wird ausgelöst.
Das Ende 4.3 des Stößels 4 weist für die Schussauslösung ein Formgebung auf, die es der Schlagbolzen-Hauptfahne 7.2 ermöglicht, im regulärem Ablauf des Verriegelns des Verschlusses entlang der so genannten Abzugskante 4.4 am Stößel 4 nach vorne zu gleiten, wodurch der Schlagbolzen 7 freigegeben wird. Die Formgebung bildet die Steuerkurve für die Schlagbolzen-Hauptfahne 7.2.
Zur Vermeidung, dass der Schlagbolzen 7 ungewollt ausgelöst werden kann, beispielsweise weil der Stößel 4 in Zuführposition und damit beim Spannen der Schlagbolzenfeder 7.1 des Schlagbolzens 7 bricht, sieht das Sicherungssystem 10 eine Zwischenhülse 20, auch Verschlusshülse genannt, zwischen dem Verschlusskopf 3 und dem Verschlussträger 2 vor. Sollte der Stößel 4 brechen und damit die Unterstellung der Schlagbolzen-Hauptfahne 7.2 aufgehoben werden, kann diese maximal auf die Kante 22 der Verschlusshülse 20 aufschlagen, sodass der Schlagbolzen 7 selbst nicht für seinen gesamten Weg zur Schussauslösung freigegeben wird. Während der Verschlusskopf 3 in seinen Stillstandzeiten in der jeweiligen Position verbleibt, ist die drehfest eingebundene Verschlusshülse 20 (Fig. 7) ihrerseits in Bewegung (linear).
