  11. The lifting apparatus (1) of at least one of claims 1 to 10, characterised in that the first sections (30, 40) and the second sections (31, 41) of the side elements are identical.
  12. The lifting apparatus (1) of at least one of claims 1 to 11, characterised in that the third sections (32, 42) of the side elements (3, 4) are symmetrical with respect to one another as far as their surface is concerned.
  13. The lifting apparatus (1) of at least one of claims 1 to 12, characterised in that rollers (34, 44, 36, 46) are connected to the side elements by roller supports (33, 43, 35, 45).
