Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf ein Verfahren gemäß Oberbegriff Patentanspruch 1, auf ein Etikettiersystem, beispielsweise in Form eines Etikettieraggregates gemäß Oberbegriff Patentanspruch 7 sowie auf eine Vorrichtung oder Etikettiermaschine gemäß Oberbegriff Patentanspruch 10. In der Praxis kommt es häufig vor, dass auf ein Etikett, welches bereits auf einem Packmittel, beispielsweise auf einem Behälter aufgebracht ist, ein weiteres Etikettenelement in Form eines weiteren Etiketts aufgebracht werden soll. Dies ist beispielsweise dann der Fall, wenn international agierende Getränkeabfüller in allen Länder, in denen sie aktiv sind, ein und dasselbe Grund- oder Basisetikett verwenden, dieses aber in einzelnen Ländern oder für einzelne Länder mit zusätzlichen, länderspezifischen Informationen versehen werden muss, beispielweise mit auf dem Basisetikett nicht vorhandenen Hinweisen zur Zusammensetzung des Produktes in der jeweiligen Landessprache. Weitere Gründe für eine solche Individualisierung sind z.B. unterschiedliche Vorschriften, die zur Kennzeichnung in verschiedenen Ländern gelten, und/oder unterschiedliche Sprachversionen. Durch das Aufbringen des zusätzlichen Etiketts wird die Logistik der Lieferkette vereinfacht, da das Basisetikett unverändert beibehalten werden kann und nur die für einen Export bestimmten Packmittel unter Verwendung der zusätzlichen Etiketten mit den erforderlichen zusätzlichen und/oder alternativen Angaben ausgestattet werden.
Nach den bisher üblichen Verfahren erfolgt das Aufbringen der Basisetiketten und anschließend das Aufbringen der zusätzlichen Etiketten mit jeweils getrennten Etikettieraggregaten in der Weise, dass mit einem ersten Etikettieraggregat auf die noch nicht etikettierten Packmittel die Basisetiketten und anschließend mit einem weiteren Etikettieraggregat die zusätzlichen Etiketten auf die bereits an den Packmitteln vorgesehenen Basisetiketten aufbracht werden. Hierbei lässt sich allerdings eine exakte lage- und/oder positionsrichtige Anordnung der zusätzlichen Etiketten in Bezug auf das jeweilige Basisetikett bzw. in Bezug auf dortige Ausstattungsmerkmale nicht erreichen, sodass in vielen Fällen die geforderte optische Qualität der Gesamtausstattung (Basisetikett, zuzüglich zusätzliches Etikett) nicht eingehalten werden kann, und zwar u.a. bedingt durch Toleranzen bei der Zentrierung der Packmittel während des Etikettierens und/oder durch Toleranzen des Packmitteldurchmessers.
Bekannt sind verschiedene Verfahren sowie Etikettiersysteme zum Herstellen von Mehrschicht- oder Mehrfachetiketten jeweils bestehend aus einem Basisetikett und einem auf die Vorderseite dieses Basisetiketts aufgebrachten zusätzlichen Etikettenelementes sowie zum Etikettieren von Packmitteln mit derartigen Mehrfachetiketten ( JP 2006/027641 A , JP 2 597 330 B2 , BR 302 257 B1 , US 2006/0070700 A1 , ES 2 020 709 A6 , DE 20 2010 004 060 U1 , JP 2009-062 088 A , DE 37 15 920 A1 ). Allen diesen bekannten Verfahren und Etikettiersystemen ist gemeinsam, dass als Basisetiketten selbstklebende, auf einem Trägerstreifen bereits voneinander beabstandete Etiketten verwendet werden, auf die vor dem Aufbringen auf das Packmittel ein zusätzliches, ebenfalls selbstklebendes Etikettenelement aufgebracht wird. Zur Übertragung des Mehrfachetiketts auf das Packmittel wird der Trägerstreifen über eine das Mehrfachetikett ablösende Spenderkante bewegt.
Bekannt ist weiterhin ein Verfahren sowie ein Etikettiersystem ( US 2005/0219051 A1 ), bei dem von einem selbstklebenden, auf einem Trägermaterial angeordneten bahnförmigen Etikettenmaterial von jeweils einer Teillänge dieses Etikettenmaterials gebildete Etiketten abgetrennt werden. Erst nach dem Abtrennen werden auf die selbstklebende Rückseite der Etiketten RFID-Chips aufgebracht, die dann nach dem Anbringen des jeweiligen Etiketts auf einem Packmittel unter diesem Etikett nicht sichtbar angeordnet sind.
Bekannt ist ferner ein Verfahren sowie ein Etikettiersystem mit den Merkmalen des Oberbegriffs des Patentanspruchs 1 bzw. des Patentanspruchs 7 ( JP 2003-237 748 A1 ), bei dem von einem bahnförmigen Etikettenmaterial Basisetiketten bildende Teillängen abgeschnitten und anschließend auf einer Transfertrommel gehalten an einer Spenderkante vorbei geführt werden, an der das Aufbringen eines zusätzlichen, selbstklebenden Etikettenelementes auf die Vorderseite der Basisetiketten erfolgt.

Zum gleichzeitigen Aufbringen eines Streifenetiketts, eines Brustetiketts und eines Rumpfetiketts auf das jeweilige von einer Flasche gebildete Packmittel werden mit jeder beleimten Etikettenpalette zunächst das Streifenetikett und anschließend das Brustetikett und das Rumpfetikett entsprechenden Etikettenmagazinen entnommen. Zur Verbindung des Streifenetiketts mit dem Brustetikett und mit dem Rumpfetikett sind zusätzliche Leimaufträge auf die der Etikettenpaletten abgewandte Vorderseite des Streifenetiketts erforderlich, was zumindest konstruktiv, aber auch steuerungstechnisch einen zusätzlichen Aufwand bedeutet.
Aufgabe der Erfindung ist es ein Verfahren aufzuzeigen, welches eine exakte positions- und/oder lage-richtige Anordnung der zusätzlichen Etikettenelemente auf den Basisetiketten ermöglicht. Zur Lösung dieser Aufgabe ist ein Verfahren entsprechend dem Patentanspruch 1 ausgebildet. Ein Etikettiersystem, beispielsweise Etikettieraggregat ist Gegenstand des Patentanspruches 7. Eine Vorrichtung zum Ausstatten von Packmitteln ist Gegenstand des Patentanspruchs 10. Der Erfindung liegt die Erkenntnis zugrunde, dass innerhalb des Etikettiersystems oder des Etikettieraggregates die jeweilige Position der Basisetiketten und der auf diese aufzubringenden zusätzlichen Etikettenelemente exakt definiert und/oder einstellbar ist, so dass es nur innerhalb des Etikettiersystems oder des Etikettieraggregates problemlos möglich ist, das jeweilige zusätzliche Etikettenelement mit hoher Präzision lagegenau auf dem jeweiligen Basisetikett anzubringen. Das zusätzliche Etikettenelement ist beispielsweise ein flaches Element in Form eines zusätzlichen Etiketts, kann aber auch ein vorzugsweise flaches, aber dreidimensional gestaltetes Element, beispielsweise in Form eines dreidimensional gestalteten Aufklebers oder Anhängers sein.

"Packmittel" sind im Sinne der Erfindung Verpackungen oder Behältnisse, insbesondere auch Verpackungen oder Behältnisse, die im Lebensmittelbereich und dabei speziell im Getränkebereich üblicherweise verwendet werden, und zwar vorzugsweise Behälter, wie z. dass als zusätzliche Etikettenelemente Einzelblatt-Etikettenelemente oder von einem bahn- oder bandförmigen Material abgetrennte oder abgelöste Etikettenelemente verwendet werden,
oder
dass als zusätzliche Etikettenelemente selbstklebende Etikettenelemente, beispielsweise beidseitig selbstklebende Etikettenelemente verwendet werden
oder
dass als zusätzliche Etikettenelemente solche verwendet werden, die über einen Kleber- oder Leimauftrag mit dem jeweiligen Basisetikett verbunden werden, wobei der Leimauftrag bevorzugt unmittelbar vor dieser Verbindung erfolgt,
oder
dass das Auf- oder Anbringen des wenigstens einen zusätzlichen Etikettenelementes gesteuert durch eine Sensorik erfolgt, die die Lage und/oder Position der Basisetiketten oder des Etikettenmaterials überwacht,
oder
dass das Verbinden der Etikettenelemente mit den Basisetiketten durch Schweißen, beispielsweise durch Laser- oder Ultraschallschweißen erfolgt,
wobei die vorgenannten Merkmale jeweils einzeln oder in beliebiger Kombination verwendet sein können.
In Weiterbildung der Erfindung sind das Etikettiersystem oder das Etikettieraggregat beispielsweise so ausgebildet,
dass eine Sensorik zur Erkennung der jeweils aktuellen Lage und/oder Position des jeweiligen Basisetiketts und zur Steuerung eines lage- und/oder positionsgenauen Anbringens des wenigstens einen zusätzlichen Etikettenelementes am Basisetikett vorgesehen ist,
oder
dass die wenigstens eine weitere Etikettiereinheit oder -station zur Verarbeitung von mit einem band- oder bahnförmigen Etikettenmaterial bereitgestellten Etikettenelementen ausgebildet ist,
oder
dass Mittel zum Aufbringen eines Klebstoffes für das Verbinden des jeweiligen zusätzlichen Etikettenelementes mit dem Basiselement vorgesehen sind, wobei diese Mittel beispielsweise von wenigstens einer Leimdüse, beispielsweise von einer Leimdüse für Heißleime, von einem Leimroller oder einem Leimstempel gebildet sind,

Vorstehend wurde davon ausgegangen, dass mit der Etikettierstation 11.2 des Etikettieraggregates 11 die die zusätzliche Etiketten oder Ausstattungselemente bildenden zusätzlichen Etikettenelement 3 auf die Vorderseite der Basisetiketten 2 oder des diese Etiketten bildende bahn- oder bandförmigen Etikettenmaterials aufgebracht werden. Die Figur 6 zeigt ein die Basisetiketten 2 (Rollfed-Etiketten) bildendes bahnförmiges Etikettenmaterial 12a. Vor der Übergabe des jeweils von dem Etikettenmaterial 12a abgetrennten Basisetiketts 2 wird dieses rückseitig an seinem bei der Übergabe vorauseilenden Etikettenende mit einem zusätzlichen Etikettenelement 3a in Form eines beidseitig selbstklebenden Klebestreifens versehen. Das Aufbringen der zusätzlichen Etikettenelemente 3a erfolgt wiederum innerhalb des Etikettieraggregates 11 mit der Etikettierstation 11.2, und zwar gesteuert durch die Sensorik 14. Mit den zusätzlichen Etikettenelementen 3a, die an der nach dem Etikettieren nicht sichtbaren Rückseite des jeweiligen Basisetiketts 2 vorgesehen sind, erfolgen bei der Etikettenübergabe an die Packmittel 1 das Fixieren des jeweiligen Basisetiketts 2 am Packmittel 1 sowie nach dem vollständigen Anrollen des Basisetiketts 2 an das Packmittel 1 auch das Fixieren des nacheilenden Etikettenende. Das jeweilige zusätzliche Etikettenelement 3a überlappt hierfür die Stoßstelle zwischen den beiden Etikettenenden, wie dies in der Figur 7 verdeutlicht ist.
Bei dieser Ausführungsform ist es weiterhin auch möglich, an dem bei der Übergabe nacheilenden Etikettenende jedes Basisetiketts 2 ebenfalls ein zusätzliches Etikettenelement 3a vorzusehen. Die Verwendung der Etikettenelemente 3a hat insbesondere auch den Vorteil, dass auf die Bereitstellung von Leim für das Fixieren des vorauseilenden und des nacheilenden Etikettenendes verzichtet werden kann und hierdurch die durch die Verwendung von Leim zwangsläufig entstehenden Verschmutzungen vermieden sind. Der Reinigungs- und Wartungsaufwand wird hierdurch reduziert, ebenso werden Gefahrenquellen durch heißen Leim und heiße Oberflächen vermieden.
Vorstehend wurde davon ausgegangen, dass für die Basisetiketten 2 ein bahnförmiges, von einem Etikettenvorrat 2.1 abgezogenes Etikettenmaterial verwendet wird. Ein alternatives, nicht erfindungsgemäßes Verfahren ist aber auch bei Basisetiketten 2 anwendbar, die als Einzelblattetiketten bereitgestellt werden. Die Figur 8 zeigt in schematischer Darstellung ein hierfür geeignetes Etikettieraggregat 15, welches bei der Etikettiermaschine 5a anstelle des Etikettieraggregates 11 Verwendung findet. Das Etikettieraggregat 15 umfasst eine Etikettierstation 15.1 zur Verarbeitung von Einzelblattetiketten sowie eine in das Etikettieraggregat 15 integrierte Etikettierstation 15.2 zum Aufbringen der zusätzlichen Etikettenelemente 3 auf die Basisetiketten 2 bevor diese an das jeweilige mit dem Rotor 6 an dem Etikettieraggregat 15 vorbei bewegte Packmittel 1 übergeben werden, wie dies in den Figuren 9 und 10 schematisch dargestellt ist. Zentrales Element der Etikettierstation 15.1 ist ein um eine Achse parallel zur Maschinenachse umlaufend (Pfeil B) antreibbarer Palettenträger 16 mit mehreren gesteuert schwenkbaren Etikettenpaletten 17, die mit dem Palettenträger 16 u.a. an einer Beleimungsstation 18 zum Aufbringen eines Kalt- oder Etikettenleims, anschließend an einem Etikettenmagazin 19 zur Entnahme jeweils des ersten, dort als Einzelblattetikett bereitstehenden Basisetiketts 2, anschließend an der Etikettierstation 15.2 zum Aufbringen des zusätzlichen Etikettenelementes 3 auf die Vorderseite des jeweiligen, an einem Palettenträger 17 gehaltene Basisetiketts 2 sowie anschließend an einem Greifer- oder Übergabezylinder 19 zur Übergabe des jeweiligen mit dem zusätzlichen Etikettenelement 3 versehenen Basisetiketts 2 an das am Etikettieraggregat 15 vorbei bewegte Packmittel 1. Die zusätzlichen Etikettenelemente 3 sind beispielsweise wiederum selbstklebende Etikettenelemente, die auf einem von dem Vorrat 3.1 abgezogenen und über eine Spenderkante geführten bahnförmigen Trägermaterial vorgesehen sind. Das Aufbringen der zusätzlichen Etikettenelemente 3 erfolgt wiederum gesteuert durch die Sensorik 14, mit der markante Merkmale der auf den Etikettenpaletten 17 angeordneten Basisetiketten 2 erfasst werden, sodass eine exakte lage- und positionsgenaue Anordnung der zusätzlichen Etikettenelemente 3 auf den Basisetiketten 2 erfolgt. Die mit ihrer Rückseite an den Etikettenpaletten 17 gehaltenen Basisetiketten 2 sind an ihrer Etikettenvorderseite frei zugänglich, sodass das Aufbringen der Etikettenelemente 3 problemlos möglich ist. Über den entsprechenden Leim- oder Kleberauftrag erfolgt dann die Verbindung der zusätzlichen, nicht selbstklebend ausgebildeten Etikettenelemente 3 mit den Basisetiketten 2, wobei die Etikettenelemente 3 beispielsweise auch als Einzelblatt-Etikettenelementen oder aber von einem bahn- oder bandförmigen Material durch Abtrennen bereit gestellt werden. Der Leimauftrag für das Befestigen des jeweiligen Etikettenelementes 3 an dem Basisetikett 2 erfolgt bevorzugt erst unmittelbar vor dem Verbinden der Etikettenelemente 3 mit den Basiselementen 2. Weiterhin kann dieses Verbinden auch durch Schweißen, beispielsweise durch Laser- und/oder Ultraschallschweißen erfolgen, und zwar insbesondere dann, wenn die Basisetiketten 2 zumindest an ihrer Vorderseite und die Etikettenelemente 3 zumindest an ihrer Rückseite aus einem verschweißbaren Material, beispielsweise aus einem thermoplastischen Kunststoff bestehen und/oder die Etikettenelemente 3 an ihrer Rückseite mit einem unter Hitzeeinwirkung schmelzenden Kleber versehen sind.
Die als zusätzliche Etiketten ausgeführten Etikettenelemente 3 sind auch bei der Erfindung beispielsweise Informationsträger, die z.B. durch ihren Aufdruck Vorschriften Rechnung tragen, die zur Kennzeichnung in verschiedenen Ländern erforderlich sind, und zwar in der jeweiligen Sprachversion. Die zusätzlichen Etikettenelemente 3 sind aber beispielsweise auch Zusatzetiketten, die beispielsweise auf aktuelle Ereignisse, beispielsweise Sportveranstaltungen hinweisen oder die Gesamtausstattung, die von dem Basisetikett 2 und den Etikettenelement 3 gebildet ist, an besondere Ereignisse und/oder Veranstaltungen anpassen. Weiterhin können die Etikettenelemente 3 auch als Sammelbild, Sammel- oder Rabattpunkte, Leuchtsterne, Abziehbilder usw. ausgeführt sein, wobei dann die Klebeverbindung zwischen den Etikettenelementen 3 und den Basiselementen 2 so ausgeführt ist, dass ein Ablösen der Etikettenelemente 3 problemlos möglich ist.
Die Erfindung wurde voranstehend an Ausführungsbeispielen beschrieben. Es versteht sich, dass Änderungen sowie Abwandlungen möglich sind. So ist es beispielsweise möglich, durch Verwendung von zwei Etikettierstationen 11.2 oder 15.2 auf jedes Basisetikett 2 wenigstens zwei zusätzliche Etikettenelement 3 und/oder 3a aufzubringen.

Claims (10)

  1.
