Claims (15)

  1. A device for breaking out at least one blank (3) which is delimited by a break-out line, from a sheet (2) whilst the sheet (2) is conveyed, comprising
    - a breaking-out device (10) for breaking at least one blank (3) out of the sheet (2) in a break-out zone (Z),
    - a feed device (20) for feeding a sheet (2) to the breaking-out device (10) in a feed direction (FZ),
    wherein the breaking-out device (10) deflects the sheet (2) out of the feed direction (FZ) and thus forms the break-out zone (Z)
    characterised in that
    the breaking-out device (10) comprises at least one holding element (12) which is arranged on a transport element (11) and which in the break-out zone (Z) is movable along an arcuate path by way of the transport element (11), wherein the breaking-out device (10), by way of the at least one holding element (12), is capable of gripping a sheet edge (6) of a fed sheet (2) and deflecting the sheet out of its feed direction (FZ) by way of moving the at least one holding element (12) along the arcuate path, by which means the at least one blank (3) is broken out of the sheet (2).
  2. A device according to claim 1, characterised in that the at least one holding element (12) is a gripper with at least one gripper limb (13).
  3. A device according to one of the claims 1 to 2, characterised in that the feed device (20) forms a plan sheet rest surface (B), on which the sheet (2) is fed to the breaking-out device (10) in the feed direction (FZ).
  4. A device according to one of the claims 1 to 3, characterised in that the feed device (20), before the break-out zone (Z) considered in the feed direction (F), forms a conveying gap (S1) which is produced by a roller pairing (23, 24) and through which the sheet (2) leaves the feed device (20) in the feed direction (FZ) and is fed to the break-out zone (Z).
  5. A device according to one of the claims 1 to 4, characterised in that the movement of the at least one holding element (12) between a holding position and release position as well as along its movement path can be controlled in a cycled manner.
  6. A device according to one of the claims 1 to 5, characterised in that the at least one holding element (12) comprises a gripper with at least one gripper limb (13) which is pivotable about a pivot axis (S) and which with the transport element (11) forms a clamping region (H) for holding the sheet edge (6).
  7. A device according to one of the claims 1 to 6, characterised in that the transport element (11) is arranged relative to the feed device (20) in a manner such that a holding region (H) which is formed by the holding element (12) and in which the sheet edge (6) is gripped and held, in a sheet receiving position (P) lies in a common plane (E) with the sheet (2) which is fed by the feed device (20), so that the sheet edge (6) of the fed sheet (2) which is to be held can be moved in the feed direction (FZ) into the holding region (H) without deflection.
  8. A device according to one of the claims 1 to 7, characterised in that the transport element is a rotation body (11) which is rotatable about a rotation axis (D) and on which the at least one holding element (12) is arranged, wherein the breaking-out device (10) is capable of gripping the sheet edge (6) by way of the at least one holding element (12) and of deflecting the sheet (2) out of its feed direction (FZ) by way of rotating the rotation body (11) about the rotation axis (D), by which means the at least one blank (3) is broken out of the sheet (2).
  9. A device according to claim 8, characterised in that the rotation body (11) is a breaking-out cylinder and the at least one holding element (12) is arranged in particular on the outer periphery of the breaking-out cylinder (11).
  10. A device according to claim 9, characterised in that the breaking-out device (10) comprises a pressing roller (14) which with the breaking-out cylinder (11) forms a conveying gap (S3) in the sheet deflection, for onwardly conveying the deflected sheet (2).
  11. A device according to one of the claims 8 to 10, characterised in that the rotation body (11) is designed to rotate completely about the rotation axis (D), so that the at least one holding element (12) can execute a closed movement path about the rotation axis (D) in the rotation direction (R).
  12. A device according to one of the claims 1 to 7, characterised in that the transport element is a flexible continuous wrapping body which is led around at least one deflection body.
  13. A method for breaking out at least one blank (3) which is delimited by a break-out line (5), from a sheet (2), with a device according to one of the claims 1 to 12,
    characterised by the following steps
    - conveying a sheet (2) with at least one blank (3) which is delimited by a break-out line (5), in a feed direction (FZ) to a breaking-out device (10),
    - gripping a sheet edge (6) by way of the at least one holding element (12) in the sheet take-over position (P);
    - deflecting the sheet (2) out of the conveying direction (FZ) by way of moving the holding element (12) along an arcuate path and, by way of this,
    - breaking the at least one blank (3) out of the sheet (2) which is deflected out of the feed direction (FZ), in the break-out zone (Z).
  14. A method according to claim 13, characterised by the further steps:
    - taking-over the at least one broken-out blank (23) by the take-over device and leading it away out of the break-out zone (Z);
    - conveying away the sheet waste (4) out of the break-out zone (Z) by the transport element (11).
  15. A method according to claim 13 or 14, characterised in that the sheet (2) which is deflected by the breaking-out cylinder (11), for the purpose of conveying away is drawn into the conveying gap (S3) which is formed by the pressing roller (14) and the breaking-out cylinder (11), and the holding element (12) subsequently releases of the sheet edge (6), and the holding element (12) subsequently to the release of the sheet edge (6) is led back along its closed circulating path into the sheet take-over position (P) whilst the sheet (2) is conveyed away from the breaking-out cylinder (11) subsequent to the conveying gap (S3).
