- This saving of time is particularly important in extra-hospital operations because in an emergency (for example in case of heart failure, or very significant bleeding) every second gained can have a decisive impact.
- the structure comprises automatic deployment means for jointly deploying the mat 300, the folding feet 102, 103, 104 as well as the work trays 402 and 500.
- the automatic deployment means are composed firstly by a rack and pinion system for deploying the work trays 402 and 500, and secondly by a system of spacers E for deploying the folding feet 102, 103, 104, and the mat 300 can slide inside the platform 10.
- the rack and pinion system is composed, to articulate each of the work trays 402 and 500, a rack C disposed on the mat 300, more specifically on the tube located in the lower part 301, and two pinions P of which a first pinion P is disposed in the platform 10 and meshes with the rack, and a second pinion P is fixed to n a work plate 402 or 500 and meshes with the first gear.
- This rack-and-rack system thus forms a means of pivoting the work trays 402, 500 with respect to the platform 10.
- the mat 300 being able to slide inside the platform 10, when the user unfolds the mat 300 and pulls it upwards, the rack C drives the pinions P in rotation (more precisely the rack C drives the first pinion which in turn drives the second pinion), said pinions P thus causing the deployment of the work platens 402 and 500 relative to the platform 10.
- the rack C drives the pinions P in rotation, and the work platens 402 and 500 fold.
- Each folding foot 102, 103 and 104 is connected to a spacer E in a pivot connection axis orthogonal to both the folding foot 102, 103 or 104 and the spacer E.
- Each of the spacer E being attached to the mat 300, and more precisely to the distal end of the tube located in the lower part 301, according to a pivot connection of axis orthogonal to the both at mat 300 and at the spacer thus fixed.
- the axes of the pivot connections of each spacer E are parallel to the axis of rotation of the connection between the folding foot 102, 103 or 104 to which the spacer E is connected and the platform 10.
- This spacer system E thus allows, when the user unfolds the mat 300 and pulls it upwards, to deploy the folding feet 102, 103 and 104 by sliding the mat 300 into the platform 10 by deploying the spacers E.
- This embodiment therefore makes it possible to deploy or fold up the work trays 402, 500 and the folding legs 102, 103, 104 together in a single movement of the user, who pulls or pushes the mat 300.
- the automatic deployment means are composed on the one hand of a system of spacers E 'making it possible to deploy the work trays 402 and 500, and of on the other hand a spacer system E for deploying the folding feet 102, 103, 104 similar to the spacer system E of the second embodiment, the mat 300 being slid inside the platform 10.
- the spacer system E 'for deploying the work trays 402 and 500 has an equivalent operation to the spacer system E for deploying the folding feet 102, 103, 104 of the second embodiment.
- the spacer system E 'for deploying the work trays 402 and 500 thus comprises two spacers E', each being attached to both a work plate 402 or 500, and to the mat 300, and more particularly to the distal end of the tube located in the lower part 301.
- the spacers E ' are each attached to a work plate 402 or 500, and to the mat 300 in a pivot connection axis parallel to the axis of rotation of the connection between the plate 402 or 500 work which ⁇ spacer E 'is connected and the platform 10.
- This system of spacers E' thus allows, when the user unfolds the mat 300 and pulls it upwards, to deploy the work trays 402 and 500 by sliding the mat 300 into the platform 10 by deploying the spacers E '.
- the automatic deployment means are composed on the one hand by a cable-pulley system for deploying the work trays 402 and 500, and on the other hand a spacer system E allowing deploying the folding feet 102, 103, 104 similar to the spacer system E of the second embodiment, the mat 300 being sliding inside the platform 10.
- the cable-pulley system consists of cables which each connect a plate 402 or 500 to the mat 300, and pulleys each fixed in the platform 10 to the right of a work plate 402 or 500, each cable passing in a pulley.
- the cables are connected to the intermediate tube 302, so that when the mat 300 is unfolded, the cables are stretched and pull the work trays 402 and 500 so as to deploy them.
- the pulleys make it possible to reduce the size of the cables when they are stretched, so that they do not disturb the work of the users.
- the automatic deployment means consist of a system of jacks which connect each of the work trays 402 and 500 to either platform 10 or mat 300, and a system of jacks that connect each of the folding feet 102, 103 and 104 to the mat 300.
- These jacks are arranged in such a way that when they are in the "out” position, the working plates 402, 500 and the folding feet 102, 103, 104 are deployed, and when said jacks are in the "retracted” position, work trays 402, 500 and the folding feet 102, 103, 104 are folded.
- the cylinders may be electric cylinders, so that they can be controlled by a switch, the structure then comprising an electric battery for supplying the cylinders with electrical energy.
- the cylinders can also be gas cylinders, which deploy when connected to a reserve of a gas under pressure.
- all the cylinders can be connected to the same gas circuit that can be supplied with pressurized gas by connecting a gas cylinder to a nozzle forming an inlet of the gas circuit. The user would only have to connect a cylinder comprising pressurized gas to the nozzle, so that the cylinders go to the "output" position.
- a pressurized gas cylinder is connected to the cylinder when the structure is in the storage position, so that the gas inside the cylinders is under pressure, the cylinders being retained in position " retracted “by locking means, such as pins arranged on the stroke of the cylinders.
- the user releases the jacks of the locking means, for example by actuating a press button connected to a spring mechanism causing the pins out of the stroke of the jacks.
- the cylinders thus released from the locking mechanism and being filled with pressurized gas, they unfold and move to the "out" position, thus deploying the folding feet 102, 103, 104 and the work trays 402, 500.
- a hydraulic valve is interposed between a reserve of pressurized gas and the cylinders and the hydraulic valve is automatically switched to the open position during a deployment initiation to solicit the cylinders in extension and thus ensure the deployment of the complete structure of the system according to the invention.
- the mat 300 can also be deployed by a jack.
- the cylinders are gas cylinders
- the cylinder deploying the mast 300 may also be connected to the same gas circuit as the other cylinders.
- the work platens 402 and 500 comprise a cover, for example articulated with said work platens 402 and 500 with a pivot connection.
- said work platens 402 and 500 comprise a cover makes it possible to protect them against the various soils that can be deposited during storage or transport of the structure.
- the covers can also be used to store material by being designed with a thickness so as to form a cavity in which it is possible to store material, or with fastening means for attaching material requiring be available quickly during interventions.
- the material thus stored can be stored either inside the lid, being protected from soiling when the lid is closed, or outside the lid to be available even if the structure is still in storage position or transport.
