Definitions
- the invention relates to a film transport device for transporting a plastic film according to the features of the preamble of claim 1.
- Such a film transport device is from the WO 2004/000651 A1 known.
- a film packaging machine is described in which a pair of pulleys followed by a pair of guide rollers is arranged in the inlet region of the film handling.
- Such film packaging machines are used in practice to pack products with a sealable stretch film or film.
- Corresponding plastic films or stretch films that can be processed by the packaging machine for example, from EP 0 687 558 B1 known. These are stretchable plastic films that can be sealed at elevated temperatures. Since these films are extremely thin, the film transport and the film handling are associated with special requirements. Thus, for example, in the case of production tolerances of the film or changes in the ambient conditions, such as atmospheric humidity or temperature, problems can occur during the transport of the film.
- the film transport device should be insensitive to temperature fluctuations or manufacturing tolerances of the plastic film.
- the film conveying device has a belt conveying device, wherein the belt conveying device has two guide rollers or guide shafts arranged vertically above one another and aligned with each other in the inlet region for guiding or supporting a run of a driving rhyme, wherein the upper deflecting roller and at least one of the guide rollers or guide shafts cooperate with the upper drive belt and the lower guide roller and at least one of the guide rollers or guide shafts interact with the lower drive belt.
- the guide rollers downstream of the deflection rollers in the direction of transport of the plastic film cause the conveyor belt to be guided and supported exactly in the entry area by the guide roller or guide axis. Thereby, the position and the transportation property of the conveyor belt can be specified precisely. Nevertheless, a certain deflection of the conveyor belt is possible in the space between the guide roller and guide roller or guide axis, so that thickness tolerances of the plastic film can be compensated.
- a two-sided support of both the upper conveyor belt and the lower conveyor belt is effected. As a result, the plastic film on both sides, i. both at its top and at its bottom, safely guided and transported by the two conveyor belts.
- Both conveyor belts of the belt conveyor are guided over end pulleys.
- this is fed between the lower run of the upper conveyor belt and the upper run of the lower conveyor belt in an inlet region of the belt conveyor.
- the two superposed deflection rollers of the upper conveyor belt and the lower conveyor belt have the same diameter.
- a pair of deflection rollers arranged one above the other is driven by a motor.
- the pulleys are via a transmission, preferably a gear transmission or toothed belt transmission, connected to each other and to a drive motor.
- the two superimposed pulleys are driven in opposite directions by the drive motor.
- the guide rollers or guide axes have a smaller diameter than the deflection rollers.
- the diameter of the guide rollers or guide axes is less than half the diameter of the pulleys.
- the diameter of the guide rollers is equal to each other, d. H. the guide rollers used preferably all have the same diameter.
- the diameter of the guide shafts is equal to each other, d. H. the guide axes used preferably all have the same diameter.
- the guide rollers have different diameters and are preferably designed in an eccentric design, in order to ensure a precise adaptation to belt tolerances.
- a belt conveyor may have both guide axes and guide rollers.
- the diameter of the guide axes may be sized differently from the diameter of the guide rollers.
- the lead-in area of the belt conveyor is the area in which the pulleys and the guide rollers or guide shafts are arranged.
- the lead-in region extends from the end of the belt conveyor on which the deflection rollers are arranged to further guide elements of the belt conveyor, which are formed by guide surfaces.
- the lead-in area may extend in the range of 2 times to 4 times the diameter of a guide roller with respect to the film inlet side end of the belt conveyor.
- the guide rollers and / or guide shafts are arranged as additional elements for supporting or guiding the conveyor belts.
- guide roller is meant a guide element which has an axis of rotation and rotates during a movement of the conveyor belt along the guide roller about this axis of rotation.
- a guide axis is understood to mean an axis which is in contact with and supports a run of the conveyor belt.
- At least one transport belt may be formed as a toothed belt in order to ensure an exact positioning.
- a transport belt or both transport belts may be formed as a grooved belt or as a V-belt or as a flat belt.
- both the deflection rollers and the guide rollers and / or guide axes are mounted together on a carrier of the belt conveyor.
- the carrier may be made of a stamped sheet metal or as a bent part or of a semi-finished product.
- Belt conveyors are provided for transporting a plastic film, wherein preferably the distance between the two belt conveyors is motor-driven adjustable and / or adjustable.
- the film transport device thus has two belt conveyors, which are arranged so that the distance of the belt conveyors corresponds to the width of the plastic film to be transported.
- Each of the belt conveyors can grip an edge region of the film and transport the film.
- the distance between the two belt conveyors can be adjusted automatically by means of a motor.
- a belt conveyor or that each belt conveyor has an upper guide surface and a lower guide surface for guiding the drive belt and / or the plastic film and the at least two or at least three guide rollers or guide axes relative to the film transport direction between the two in arranged in the inlet region deflecting rollers and the upper guide surface and the lower guide surface are arranged.
- a transport with low frictional resistance of the film is obtained by providing in one embodiment that the middle guide roller or the central guide axis is arranged with such a vertical distance to the other two guide rollers or guide axes that the upper conveyor belt and the lower conveyor belt in the Region between the three guide rollers or guide axes straight, preferably parallel to the transport plane run.
- the middle guide roller or the middle guide axle is arranged with such a vertical distance to the other two guide rollers or guide shafts that the upper transport belt and the lower transport belt in the area between the three guide rollers or guide axes S -shaped.
- This alternative embodiment with the S-shaped course of the drive belt has the advantage that the wrap of the drive belt with the film is more intense, so that the transport force in the inlet region of the belt conveyor is higher compared to a straight course. However, in the straight line of the drive belt, the friction and thus the required transport power is slightly lower.
- one or more of the guide rollers and / or guide axes is or are mounted on the belt conveyor in a vertical direction so as to be displaceable and fixable at an optional position.
- a fourth guide roller is designed as a deflection roller and interacts with the upper run of the upper transport belt or with the lower run of the lower transport belt.
- the number of guide rollers and / or guide shafts is also more than four, in particular five, six, seven or eight guide rollers and / or guide shafts.
- the increased design effort which is associated with an increase in the number of guide rollers and / or guide shafts, increases more with the number of these elements than the precision to be achieved in the guidance of the conveyor belts.
- An advantageous compromise between design effort and precise guidance of the conveyor belt and / or the plastic film therefore represents the use of three or four guide rollers or guide axes.
- a belt conveyor or each of the belt conveyors has a clamping device which varies the distance and / or the contact force between the lower guide surface and the upper guide surface via one or more actuators cooperating with the lower guide surface, wherein preferably provided is that each actuator is individually controllable.
- each actuator is individually controllable.
- the actuators can be designed as lifting actuators and have as drive element an electric motor with linear drive or a pneumatic cylinder or a lifting magnet.
- the film transport device according to the invention is used in a packaging machine for packaging goods with a plastic film and / or a stretch film.
- the packaging machine has a film dispensing device and arranged between the film dispensing device and the film transport device film transfer device with a in the film transport plane horizontally in the direction of the film transport device to and from the film transporting device movably driven film guide element to supply plastic film to the inlet region of the film transport device.
- the film guide element has an upper guide plate and a parallel thereto arranged lower guide plate, which are arranged so that between the two guide plates, a gap for guiding plastic film is present, wherein the intermediate space with the film transport plane is aligned and that it is preferably provided that the film guide element has a cooperating with the plastic film pair of transport rollers with an upper transport roller and a lower transport roller for transporting the plastic film.
- the thin plastic film is supported both upwards and downwards flat.
- the plastic film is guided freely in the space between the two guide plates.
- the film is floating in the space between the two guide plates, so to speak.
- the floating bearing allows within certain limits to avoid errors that could occur due to an obliquely inserted film or an inaccurate film width.
- the upper guide plate and the lower guide plate in a covering region of the belt conveyors each having a recess arranged and dimensioned so is that both clamping plates engage in an on the film transport device to be displaced film transfer position at least with a central portion of the film transport device facing edge between the two belt conveyors.
- the film guide element is designed as a carriage slidably mounted parallel to the film transport plane and driven by a carriage drive motor, wherein it is preferably provided that the carriage either one with a driven by the carriage drive motor gear meshing rack or tooth portion or is connected to a driven by the carriage drive motor drive belt.
- a film cutting device for cutting off plastic film is arranged between the film transfer device and the film transport device.
- the film transfer device and the film dispensing device, and preferably the film cutting device are designed as a replaceable assembly, and this assembly on a frame or on a housing of the packaging machine interchangeable and mechanically fixed is held connected to this frame or housing.
- the packaging machine By several functional components of the packaging machine are mechanically connected to each other and arranged on a separate module carrier, they are designed as a common replaceable assembly. As a result, the packaging machine is designed modular expandable or customizable. For example, the width of the film to be processed can be changed by replacing the assembly with the functional units film dispenser and film transfer device. As a further advantage, a simple transport of the packaging machine can be achieved by removing the assembly from the housing or frame of the packaging machine and thus reducing the size and / or weight of the packaging machine.
- a quick-action closure in particular a bayonet closure or a toggle closure, is arranged between a housing or a frame of the packaging machine and the assembly.
- a quick-action closure in particular a bayonet closure or a toggle closure
- the assembly preferably the film dispensing device, is rotatably mounted on the frame via hinges.

- the upper deflection roller 205 guides the upper drive belt 203.
- the lower deflection roller 206 guides the lower drive belt 204.
- the plastic film K is transferred from the film transfer device 216 to the film transport device 2 in the entry region E, ie introduced between the upper drive belt 203 and the lower drive belt 204 ,
- the film K is guided on its upper side by the lower run 203b of the upper drive belt 203 and on its underside by the upper run 204a of the lower drive belt 204.
- the upper drive belt 203 as well as the lower drive belt 204 is guided in each case circumferentially over end pulleys. Both drive belts 203 and 204 are driven synchronously and convey the plastic film K in the transport direction X.
- the film transport device 2 comprises film guide elements.
- the lower run 203 b of the upper conveyor belt 203 is guided by a film guide surface or drive belt guide surface 207 or supported upwardly.
- the upper run 204a of the lower drive belt 204 is guided over slide guide surfaces 208 and supported downwardly, respectively.
- the lower film guide surface 208 is divided into a plurality of short guide sections, each of these guide sections having its own lifting actuator 209 and 210, respectively, to lift the guide surface 208 up against the upper guide surface 207.
- the plastic film K is clamped between the two drive belts 203 and 204 and thereby fixed.
- a first guide roller 211 is arranged so that it cooperates with the upper run of the lower drive belt 204 and supports it downwards.
- a second film guide roller 212 is arranged, which cooperates with the lower run of the upper drive belt and this leads up or supported.
- a third film guide roller 213 is further offset in the direction of film transport and in turn cooperates with the upper run 204a of the lower drive belt 204 together to support this down again.
- This arrangement of the drive rollers results in a very good flexible support of the drive belt to provide in the inlet area for a complication-free transport of the plastic film K.
- FIG. 5 an alternative arrangement of the film guide rollers 211, 212 and 213 is shown.
- the two outer guide rollers 211 and 213 are offset upwards.
- the middle guide roller 212 is offset downwards so that the drive belts between the three guide rollers have an S-shaped course. This S-shaped profile causes a more intimate contact and thus a better transport of the plastic film K.
- this has in Fig. 5 Overall arrangement shown a higher friction than that in the Fig. 2 illustrated arrangement.
- Both the upper drive belt and the lower drive belt is guided in a straight line in the film transport direction X between the three guide rollers 211, 212 and 213.
- a fourth guide roller 226 cooperates with the upper drive belt 203 in that the guide roller 226 guides the upper run 203a of the upper drive belt 203. Via this roller 226, the tension of the upper drive belt 203 can be adjusted.
- FIG. 3 and 4 is a plan view of the film transfer device 216 with the carriage 229 and the film transport device 2 shown. This illustration clarifies the film transfer from the film transfer device 216 to the film transport device 2.
- the Fig. 3 shows a shifted back position of the carriage 229. Starting from the in Fig. 3 shown displaced back position of the carriage 229 driven by the carriage drive 219 moves forward in the direction of the film transport device 2 and takes in the between the two film guide plates 218 a and 218 b inserted film K with.
- a front transfer position of the carriage 229 is shown.
- the film K is transferred to the inlet region E of the film transport device 2.
- the film transport device 2 takes over from then on the transport of the film K in the transport direction X.
- the upper guide plate 218a and the lower guide plate 218b in a coverage area with the film transport device 2 arranged recesses 228a and 228b.
- the recesses are configured U-shaped and arranged and dimensioned so that they each embrace a belt conveyor 201 and 202 of the film transport device 2.
- the film transport device 2 takes over the film K in the inlet region E from the film transfer device 218. Subsequently, the film transport device 2 transports the film K in the film transport direction until the leading edge of the film K has arrived at the end of the film transport direction. Thereafter, the film transport device stops the film transport. About the film cutter 215, the film K is then separated. Via the lifting actuators 209 and 210, the film K is clamped between the upper guide surface 207 and the lower guide surface 208. Subsequently, the two belt conveyors 201 and 202 are laterally removed from each other to stretch the film for a subsequent packaging operation.
- first belt conveyor 201 is moved by a drive motor transversely to the film transport direction X or the second belt conveyor 202 is moved transversely to the film transport direction X or both belt conveyors 201 and 202 are simultaneously moved transversely to the film transport direction X to the distance between the two belt conveyors 201 and 202 to enlarge.
- the product P is lifted by the lifting table 105 from the underside and moved upward through the film transport plane and the film K, whereupon the film K continues to stretch, thereby enveloping the product P.
- the lateral folding pliers 108a and 108b and the rear folding pliers 110 grip the ends of the film K and beat them one above the other below the product. By ejecting the product via the pusher 109, the film K is welded over the sealing plate 107.
- the film transfer device 216 is designed such that the width of the two guide plates substantially coincides with the width of the plastic film K. As a result, a good guidance of the plastic film is achieved.
- the distance between the two belt conveyors 201 and 202 of the film conveyor 2 is matched to the width of the plastic film. This means that the distance is dimensioned so that the drive belts 203 and 204 and / or the film guide surfaces 207 and 208 of the two belt conveyors 201 and 202 each lead or grip an edge region of the film K.
- the packaging machine 1 can process different film widths. To set the packaging machine 1 to a different film width, the distance between the two belt conveyors 201 and 202 to each other changed, i. be enlarged or reduced.
- the film transfer device 216 is adapted to the corresponding film width by replacing the film guide plates 218a and 218b.
- the packaging machine 1 is modular. It comprises the machine housing 11 with the film transport device 2.
- the film transfer device 216 is formed together with the film dispenser 217 as a common structural unit or as a module. Both components, ie the film transfer device 216 and the film dispenser 217 are mechanically connected to one another via a frame to form a structural unit.
- the housing 11 of the packaging machine has a receiving space for receiving or holding the unit. This assembly of film transfer device 216 and the film dispenser 217 can from the housing 11 of the packaging machine 1 by loosening a be removed mechanical connection.
- a second module matched to this film width can be connected to the housing 11 or accommodated in the receiving space of the housing.
- a further advantage results from the fact that the packaging machine 1 has smaller dimensions and / or a lower weight when the unit is removed and is therefore easier to transport.

It is an object of the present invention to provide a film transport device for a packaging machine, which has a higher reliability in the transport of plastic films. In particular, the film transport device should be insensitive to temperature fluctuations or manufacturing tolerances of the plastic film.
The object is achieved by a film transport device according to the features of
According to the invention, the film conveying device has a belt conveying device, wherein the belt conveying device has two guide rollers or guide shafts arranged vertically above one another and aligned with each other in the inlet region for guiding or supporting a run of a driving rhyme, wherein the upper deflecting roller and at least one of the guide rollers or guide shafts cooperate with the upper drive belt and the lower guide roller and at least one of the guide rollers or guide shafts interact with the lower drive belt.
The guide rollers downstream of the deflection rollers in the direction of transport of the plastic film cause the conveyor belt to be guided and supported exactly in the entry area by the guide roller or guide axis. Thereby, the position and the transportation property of the conveyor belt can be specified precisely. Nevertheless, a certain deflection of the conveyor belt is possible in the space between the guide roller and guide roller or guide axis, so that thickness tolerances of the plastic film can be compensated. By both the upper conveyor belt and the lower conveyor belt is supported by the guide roller or guide axis, a two-sided support of both the upper conveyor belt and the lower conveyor belt is effected. As a result, the plastic film on both sides, i. both at its top and at its bottom, safely guided and transported by the two conveyor belts.
Both conveyor belts of the belt conveyor are guided over end pulleys. This means that pulleys are arranged on both sides of the drive belt, which lead the drive belt endlessly circulating. For transporting the plastic film, this is fed between the lower run of the upper conveyor belt and the upper run of the lower conveyor belt in an inlet region of the belt conveyor. In order to achieve a uniform film guide, it is preferably provided that the two superposed deflection rollers of the upper conveyor belt and the lower conveyor belt have the same diameter.
In one embodiment, it can be provided that a pair of deflection rollers arranged one above the other is driven by a motor. The pulleys are via a transmission, preferably a gear transmission or toothed belt transmission, connected to each other and to a drive motor. The two superimposed pulleys are driven in opposite directions by the drive motor.
In order to optimally adapt the belt conveyor to the existing installation space and / or the transport task, it may be provided in one embodiment that the guide rollers or guide axes have a smaller diameter than the deflection rollers. Preferably, the diameter of the guide rollers or guide axes is less than half the diameter of the pulleys. To obtain a structurally simple structure, the diameter of the guide rollers is equal to each other, d. H. the guide rollers used preferably all have the same diameter. Likewise, it can be provided that the diameter of the guide shafts is equal to each other, d. H. the guide axes used preferably all have the same diameter.
In one embodiment it can be provided that the guide rollers have different diameters and are preferably designed in an eccentric design, in order to ensure a precise adaptation to belt tolerances.
In one embodiment, a belt conveyor may have both guide axes and guide rollers. The diameter of the guide axes may be sized differently from the diameter of the guide rollers.
The lead-in area of the belt conveyor is the area in which the pulleys and the guide rollers or guide shafts are arranged. The lead-in region extends from the end of the belt conveyor on which the deflection rollers are arranged to further guide elements of the belt conveyor, which are formed by guide surfaces. The lead-in area may extend in the range of 2 times to 4 times the diameter of a guide roller with respect to the film inlet side end of the belt conveyor. Between the pulleys and the guide surfaces, the guide rollers and / or guide shafts are arranged as additional elements for supporting or guiding the conveyor belts. By guide roller is meant a guide element which has an axis of rotation and rotates during a movement of the conveyor belt along the guide roller about this axis of rotation. A guide axis is understood to mean an axis which is in contact with and supports a run of the conveyor belt.
Preferably, at least one transport belt may be formed as a toothed belt in order to ensure an exact positioning. Alternatively, a transport belt or both transport belts may be formed as a grooved belt or as a V-belt or as a flat belt.
- a) the middle guide roller or the middle guide axis leads the lower run of the upper conveyor belt and the other two guide rollers and / or guide axles lead the upper run of the lower conveyor belt or
- b) the middle guide roller or the middle guide axle leads the upper run of the lower conveyor belt and the two other guide rollers and / or guide axles guide the lower run of the upper conveyor belt.
Due to the increased number of guide rollers and / or guide axes and their mutual or opposite arrangement on the lower run of the upper drive belt and the upper run of the lower conveyor belt leadership of the conveyor belt is further improved. It is envisaged that no further guide elements are arranged between the deflection rollers and the guide rollers and / or guide axes. In particular, it is provided that the guide rollers and / or guide axes seen in the film transport direction with a small distance, preferably at a distance which is smaller than twice the diameter of a guide roller, connect to the pulleys.
In order to simplify the structural design of the film transport device, it can be provided that both the deflection rollers and the guide rollers and / or guide axes are mounted together on a carrier of the belt conveyor. The carrier may be made of a stamped sheet metal or as a bent part or of a semi-finished product.
In one embodiment it can be provided that two parallel and spaced apart in a horizontal film transport plane Belt conveyors are provided for transporting a plastic film, wherein preferably the distance between the two belt conveyors is motor-driven adjustable and / or adjustable. The film transport device thus has two belt conveyors, which are arranged so that the distance of the belt conveyors corresponds to the width of the plastic film to be transported. Each of the belt conveyors can grip an edge region of the film and transport the film. In order to be able to transport films of different widths safely with the film transport device, it is provided that the distance between the two belt conveyors can be adjusted automatically by means of a motor.
In one embodiment, it can be provided that a belt conveyor or that each belt conveyor has an upper guide surface and a lower guide surface for guiding the drive belt and / or the plastic film and the at least two or at least three guide rollers or guide axes relative to the film transport direction between the two in arranged in the inlet region deflecting rollers and the upper guide surface and the lower guide surface are arranged.
A transport with low frictional resistance of the film is obtained by providing in one embodiment that the middle guide roller or the central guide axis is arranged with such a vertical distance to the other two guide rollers or guide axes that the upper conveyor belt and the lower conveyor belt in the Region between the three guide rollers or guide axes straight, preferably parallel to the transport plane run.
In an alternative embodiment, it may also be provided that the middle guide roller or the middle guide axle is arranged with such a vertical distance to the other two guide rollers or guide shafts that the upper transport belt and the lower transport belt in the area between the three guide rollers or guide axes S -shaped. This alternative embodiment with the S-shaped course of the drive belt has the advantage that the wrap of the drive belt with the film is more intense, so that the transport force in the inlet region of the belt conveyor is higher compared to a straight course. However, in the straight line of the drive belt, the friction and thus the required transport power is slightly lower.
In order to be able to set the desired course of the transport belt and thus the transport force for the film, it can be provided that one or more of the guide rollers and / or guide axes is or are mounted on the belt conveyor in a vertical direction so as to be displaceable and fixable at an optional position. By moving the guide rollers and / or guide axes in the vertical direction, the exact course of the conveyor belt and thus ultimately the effect of the conveyor belt impacted on the plastic film force can be adjusted or adjusted within certain limits.
In order to further improve the guidance of the transport belts, it can be provided that a fourth guide roller is designed as a deflection roller and interacts with the upper run of the upper transport belt or with the lower run of the lower transport belt.
In order to further improve the guidance or support of the transport belts, it can be provided that the number of guide rollers and / or guide shafts is also more than four, in particular five, six, seven or eight guide rollers and / or guide shafts. However, it has been shown that the increased design effort, which is associated with an increase in the number of guide rollers and / or guide shafts, increases more with the number of these elements than the precision to be achieved in the guidance of the conveyor belts. An advantageous compromise between design effort and precise guidance of the conveyor belt and / or the plastic film therefore represents the use of three or four guide rollers or guide axes.
To wrap a product with the film, the film must be fixed. In a structurally simple embodiment, it is provided that a belt conveyor or each of the belt conveyors has a clamping device which varies the distance and / or the contact force between the lower guide surface and the upper guide surface via one or more actuators cooperating with the lower guide surface, wherein preferably provided is that each actuator is individually controllable. This makes it possible that the clamping device is designed to be integrated in the film transporting device. A separate clamping device or separate terminals are therefore not needed.
The actuators can be designed as lifting actuators and have as drive element an electric motor with linear drive or a pneumatic cylinder or a lifting magnet.
It is provided in particular that the film transport device according to the invention is used in a packaging machine for packaging goods with a plastic film and / or a stretch film.
It can be provided that the packaging machine has a film dispensing device and arranged between the film dispensing device and the film transport device film transfer device with a in the film transport plane horizontally in the direction of the film transport device to and from the film transporting device movably driven film guide element to supply plastic film to the inlet region of the film transport device. This enables an efficient and functionally reliable film guide and a good film handling for the packaging machine.
In order to ensure a trouble-free function of the packaging machine even with relatively thin plastic films or stretch films, it can be provided that in one embodiment, the film guide element has an upper guide plate and a parallel thereto arranged lower guide plate, which are arranged so that between the two guide plates, a gap for guiding plastic film is present, wherein the intermediate space with the film transport plane is aligned and that it is preferably provided that the film guide element has a cooperating with the plastic film pair of transport rollers with an upper transport roller and a lower transport roller for transporting the plastic film. Over the two guide plates, the thin plastic film is supported both upwards and downwards flat. Thus, it is effectively prevented that the plastic film can form wrinkles, which interfere with the transport of the plastic film and the packaging process sensitive would. It is envisaged that the plastic film is guided freely in the space between the two guide plates. The film is floating in the space between the two guide plates, so to speak. The floating bearing allows within certain limits to avoid errors that could occur due to an obliquely inserted film or an inaccurate film width.
When transporting the plastic film, this is transferred from the film guiding device to the film transport device. The fact that the film is well supported even in the transfer and wrinkles or buckling of the film is avoided, is provided in one embodiment that the upper guide plate and the lower guide plate in a covering region of the belt conveyors each having a recess arranged and dimensioned so is that both clamping plates engage in an on the film transport device to be displaced film transfer position at least with a central portion of the film transport device facing edge between the two belt conveyors. This ensures that the guide and / or support of the film does not end at the beginning of the belt conveyor, but that the film guide element, namely the two guide plates support the film until it is safely taken up in the film transport device and there flat of the two conveyor belt managed and / or supported.
In one embodiment, it may be provided that the film guide element is designed as a carriage slidably mounted parallel to the film transport plane and driven by a carriage drive motor, wherein it is preferably provided that the carriage either one with a driven by the carriage drive motor gear meshing rack or tooth portion or is connected to a driven by the carriage drive motor drive belt.
In order to provide the plastic film and / or stretch film in the required length, it can be provided that a film cutting device for cutting off plastic film is arranged between the film transfer device and the film transport device.
In order to enable a flexible application of the packaging machine, it is provided in one embodiment that the film transfer device and the film dispensing device, and preferably the film cutting device are designed as a replaceable assembly, and this assembly on a frame or on a housing of the packaging machine interchangeable and mechanically fixed is held connected to this frame or housing.
By several functional components of the packaging machine are mechanically connected to each other and arranged on a separate module carrier, they are designed as a common replaceable assembly.
In order to achieve a simple and time-saving handling of the packaging machine, it can be provided that a quick-action closure, in particular a bayonet closure or a toggle closure, is arranged between a housing or a frame of the packaging machine and the assembly. Through this quick release, the module or the module can be easily removed from the housing or the frame or connected to the housing or the frame.
In order to enable a simple film change, it can be provided in one embodiment that the assembly, preferably the film dispensing device, is rotatably mounted on the frame via hinges. For changing the film, the assembly or the film dispenser can be opened and a film roll can be exchanged in a simple manner.
The installation of the packaging machine is simplified by having these height-adjustable feet. By means of the height-adjustable feet an exact horizontal alignment of the packaging machine can be done even with uneven installation site.
An application of the film transport device according to the invention and / or the packaging machine according to the invention can be carried out, for example, when packaging food. Foods, especially fresh foods such as cheese and / or meat and / or sausage and / or vegetables, are often sold in portions in tray trays. Such tray trays can be packed via the packaging machine according to the invention with the film transport device according to the invention, ie wrapped with stretch film or plastic film. After packing the products These can be provided with a label on which, for example, the weight of the packaged food and / or the date and / or the date of the packaging process is printed.
To make this labeling process in a small space, it is provided that the packaging machine according to the invention comprises one or more printers, which are arranged or attached to a housing or frame of the packaging machine. These printers print a label that shows data such as the weight of the packaged product and / or the current date. These labels are picked up on a label applicator and placed on the packaged product. The label applicator may be formed as an automated label stamp, which is mounted on the housing of the packaging machine and / or a frame of the packaging machine. Alternatively, the labeling of the packaged products can also be done manually by manually pasting the finished printed label onto the packaged product.
In order to determine the weight of the packaged products, provision may be made for the packaging machine to have a scale in one embodiment. The balance may be arranged in particular in the entrance area of the packaging machine, so that the product to be packaged is forcibly guided over the load sensor of the balance. The determined weight is relayed by the scale via a connection to a label printer so that the printer can print a corresponding label with the weight of the scale.

The
The packaging process is as follows. The product P is conveyed from the feeding
The
As a packaging film, a plastic film is used, which is stretchable, so called a stretch film. This film is thermoplastic and can be sealed or welded at high temperature. The thickness of the film is in a range between 10 .mu.m and 60 .mu.m. From the

The
To guide the film K, the
To insert the film K in the
For conveying the film K in the transport direction X, it is guided through the

The inlet region E of a
The
The
In order to enable a complication-free and error-free film transport, even if the film has different qualities and / or thicknesses, it is provided that between the two arranged in the inlet region

For packaging a product P with the stretch film K, the
After the pre-stretching, the product P is lifted by the lifting table 105 from the underside and moved upward through the film transport plane and the film K, whereupon the film K continues to stretch, thereby enveloping the product P. After the lift table 105 has completely lifted the product P, the
The
The
The
