By means of the oil pump, the oil is pumped through the oil circuit. The suction line may be formed as a separate component which is fastened by means of suitable fastening elements to the internal combustion engine.
Furthermore, it is also known in internal combustion engines, in particular in bus internal combustion engines, to provide at least one shielding and / or guide element or a splash plate, by means of which a flow of oil accumulated in the oil pan into a crankcase of the internal combustion engine and an outflow of in the oil pan accumulated oil is prevented away from a suction port of the suction line. Such flow of the accumulated in the oil pan oil usually occurs in dynamic driving situations (for example, during braking, acceleration or cornering) of a vehicle having the internal combustion engine. The accumulated in the oil pan oil comes in such vehicle situations in motion and begins to slosh and splash. By means of the shielding and / or guide element, suction of air into the suction opening of the suction line and an increased swirling up of oil caused by the rotating crank drive of the internal combustion engine are then reduced or prevented. The shielding and / or guide element may be formed as a separate component which is fastened by means of suitable fastening elements to the internal combustion engine.
However, the suction line and the shielding and / or guide element can not only be formed as separate components, but also be formed by a single mounting element, which has both the suction line and the shielding and / or guide element.
The object of the invention is to provide a mounting element for an internal combustion engine, in particular for a vehicle internal combustion engine, by means of which the assembly of the internal combustion engine is simplified.
This object is solved by the features of the independent claims. Preferred developments are disclosed in the subclaims.
According to claim 1, a mounting member for an internal combustion engine, in particular a vehicle internal combustion engine, proposed with a suction line, by means of which in the assembled state of the internal combustion engine accumulated in an oil pan oil an oil conveyor, in particular an oil pump, can be fed, and with at least one shielding and / or guide element, by means of which, in the mounted state of the internal combustion engine, a flow of oil accumulated in the oil sump into a crank chamber of the internal combustion engine and / or an outflow of the oil collected in the sump can be prevented away from an intake opening of the suction line. The suction line and the oil conveyor can be connected to each other by means of a plug connection. According to the connector is formed such that the production of the connector by a displacement of the mounting member relative to the internal combustion engine in the engine upwards direction.
In this way, the assembly of the internal combustion engine is significantly simplified, since the mounting element now only has to be displaced relative to the internal combustion engine in the engine high direction from bottom to top to produce the connector. To release the connector, the mounting element then only relative to Internal combustion engine in the engine high direction are shifted from top to bottom. Thus, the mounting element in this hard to reach area of the internal combustion engine does not have to be displaced in the engine transverse direction and / or in the engine longitudinal direction in order to produce or release the plug connection. As a result, the mounting element can also be assembled and disassembled particularly quickly.
The term oil conveyor is here to be understood such that the oil conveyor also includes at least one connected between the oil conveyor and the suction line connecting line when such a connecting line is provided.
Preferably, the mounting element is designed such that it must be displaced for complete assembly and / or disassembly substantially only in the vertical axis direction. In this way, the mounting element can be assembled and disassembled in a particularly simple and time-saving manner in one step.
In a further preferred embodiment, the plug-in connection is designed such that by plugging the suction line in or on the oil conveyor, a pre-centering of the mounting element and thus blocking at least one degree of freedom of the mounting element. Thus, the mounting element can be mounted particularly easily on the internal combustion engine.
More preferably, the suction line has a, in particular straight, tubular plug-in portion, which can be inserted for producing the plug-in connection in or on a corresponding plug-in portion of the oil conveyor. In this way, the connector is simple and reliable.
In the assembled state of the internal combustion engine, the tubular plug-in section preferably extends essentially in the vertical direction of the engine in order to be able to easily establish and release the plug connection. More preferably, the tubular plug-in section protrudes upward from a line section of the suction line connected to the plug-in section in the installed state of the internal combustion engine, as seen in the engine upper direction.
In a preferred embodiment, the mounting element in the assembled state, in particular with the shielding and / or guide element, in an abutment connection with a crankcase the internal combustion engine, in particular with a lower wall portion of the crankcase, be to further simplify the mounting of the mounting member. It is preferably provided that the mounting element can be flanged to the crankcase. Preferably, the fastening means, such as the screws, for flanging the mounting member to the crankcase in the mounted state of the mounting member thereby also aligned in the vertical axis direction, to further simplify the mounting of the mounting member. The flanging can preferably take place by means of fastening means provided specifically for flanging the mounting element. This can remain at a disassembly of the oil pan, the mounting element to the engine. Alternatively, the mounting element, for example, but also be clamped between the flanged oil pan and the crankcase. It is preferred if the fastening means for flanging the oil pan then protrude through both the oil pan and the mounting element.
More preferably, a fixing device is provided, by means of which the mounting element can be fixed to the internal combustion engine, in particular to a crankcase of the internal combustion engine. By means of the fixing device, the mounting element can be easily and reliably fixed to the crankcase. It is preferably provided that the fixing device is formed by a screw-sleeve combination whose sleeve is connected to the suction line and / or to the shielding and / or guide element. The sleeve can be pressed, for example, in the suction line and / or in the shielding and / or guide element. Thus, the fastener can be particularly easily and reliably provided on the mounting element. The screws are then pre-grouped already captive on the mounting element, whereby the assembly is further simplified. The connection of the at least one sleeve with the suction line and / or with the shielding and / or guide element can be realized particularly easily if the mounting element is made of plastic.
In a preferred embodiment of the mounting element according to the invention, the suction line and the at least one shielding and / or guide element are formed of the same material and / or in one piece. In this way, a particularly high saving of material and tool costs and a reduction of assembly tolerances can be achieved.
More preferably, at least one wall region of the suction line is formed by at least one wall region of the shielding and / or guiding element in order to further increase the material costs reduce. Alternatively and / or additionally, it is of course also possible for at least one wall region of the shielding and / or guide element to be formed by at least one wall region of the suction line.
Preferably, the mounting element made of metal, in particular made of a light metal, preferably made of aluminum. Thus, the mounting element can be made particularly stable, simple and lightweight in conjunction with a light metal. In addition, a metal-made mounting element is also particularly resistant or reliable. Preferably, it is provided that the mounting element by means of a casting process, in particular by means of a sand casting method, is made to manufacture the mounting element in a cost effective manner from metal.
As an alternative to the formation of metal, the mounting element can also be made of plastic in order to design the mounting element particularly easily. Preferably, it is provided that the mounting element is made of several, in particular of two, connectable to each other, in particular cohesively connectable to each other and / or manufactured by a casting process or urgeformten, separate plastic components. Thus, the production of plastic mounting element is significantly simplified. In this case, it is particularly preferred if, during the production of the assembly element, the plastic components can be formed directly from a plurality of plastic components that can be connected to each other. In this way, additional component, processing and assembly costs are significantly reduced after the molding of the plastic components.
In the assembled state of the internal combustion engine, the mounting element preferably surrounds at least one oil pressure line connected on the output side to the oil conveyor, in particular extending in the engine longitudinal direction, by means of which the oil can be supplied to the further oil circuit starting from the oil conveyor. High direction seen, lower side. In this way, the mounting element is designed to save space and a simple assembly and disassembly of the mounting element possible.
More preferably, an oil receiving space of the oil pan has a recessed area where the oil receiving space is recessed downwardly in an engine high direction as compared to an adjacent oil receiving space area such that a majority of the oil accumulated in the oil pan is in the recessed area. The shielding and / or guide element can then in the assembled state of the internal combustion engine, the recessed area, seen in engine high direction, overlap and / or cover the top. Thus, an overflow of the accumulated in the oil pan oil in the crankcase of the internal combustion engine is easily and reliably prevented, since the deep sump area of the oil pan to the crankcase is hidden out. Such a recessed area is particularly often provided in bus internal combustion engines.
More preferably, at least one, in particular a convex outer contour exhibiting Ölverdrängungskörper is provided, which dips in the mounted state of the mounting member at a defined angle of the oil pan oil level relative to a horizontal plane in the oil collected in the oil pan. As a result, the oil level is raised, for example, in a vehicle leaning and thus reduces the risk of suction of air into the suction line. Preferably, the oil displacement body is designed such that the oil displacement body in the assembled state of the engine at level level of the vehicle is just above or due to geometric constraints just below the oil pan oil level, so that displaced at a level state of the vehicle no oil through the displacement element becomes. Preferably, the oil displacement body is also arranged in the assembled state of the internal combustion engine below the movement envelope of the crank mechanism (space for example crankshaft and connecting rod) and below the bearing blocks of the crankcase. More preferably, the oil displacement body is of the same material and / or is integrally connected to the suction line and / or with the shielding and / or guide element in order to simplify the assembly and reduce the manufacturing cost.
Suitably, the suction line may further comprise a sieve and / or filter element by means of which the oil supplied to the oil conveyor can be sieved and / or filtered. These are used to prevent larger particles being conveyed through the oil circuit. Preferably, it is provided that the screen and / or filter element is arranged in the region of an intake opening of the suction line to provide the screen and / or filter element in a particularly simple manner on the suction line and to prevent accumulation of particles in the suction line.
Preferably, the screen and / or filter element by means of at least one fastening element, in particular at least one locking ring, fixed to the suction line to provide the screen and / or filter element in a particularly simple manner on the suction line. It is preferably provided that the screen and / or filter element made of metal, to form the screen element stable, reliable and easy to replace.
As an alternative to fixing by means of at least one fastening element, the sieve element and the suction line can also be connected to one another in the same material and / or in one piece. This eliminates the installation effort for mounting the strainer on the suction line. The uniform material and / or one-piece connection of the screen element with the suction line can be realized particularly easily by a production of the mounting element made of plastic. The screening functionality can thus be formed, for example, in one of several separate plastic components tool falling.
In a preferred embodiment, the shielding and / or guide element is plate-shaped, in order to optimize the function of the shielding and / or guiding element and save space. Further preferably, the shielding and / or guide element in the assembled state of the mounting element, a crankcase and / or crankcase of the internal combustion engine at least partially, seen in the engine upwards direction, cover or cover the underside. This reliably ensures that the oil accumulated in the sump does not get into the crankcase of the internal combustion engine.
Preferably, in the mounted state of the mounting element, the shielding and / or guide element, seen in engine upwards direction, below the crankcase and / or below the crank drive housing and / or above the oil level of the oil in its rest position arranged to the shield - And / or guide easy and reliable to arrange.
Preferably, a suction opening of the suction line is also arranged such that it is always immersed in dynamic driving situations completely in the accumulated in the oil pan oil. More preferably, the shielding and / or guide element has at least one recess through which, in the mounted state of the internal combustion engine, at least one sensor element, in particular an oil level sensor, is guided. Preferably, the recess is designed such that the mounting element can be assembled and disassembled without dismantling the sensor.
More preferably, the mounting member may also be formed such that it also serves as a transverse reinforcement of the crankcase. This can be achieved, for example, by additional ribbing, additional fastening screws to the crankcase or the choice of a higher loadable material, such as steel. In this way, the crankcase is prevented from twisting and spreading during vehicle bad travel (potholes) and the engine is more robust overall. If necessary, could thus significantly more voluminous oil pan are held in lightweight aluminum construction, which brings weight advantages for the engine.
Furthermore, an internal combustion engine and a vehicle, in particular a commercial vehicle, are claimed with the mounting element according to the invention. The resulting advantages are identical to the already acknowledged advantages of the mounting element according to the invention, so that they are not repeated at this point.
