Accordingly, it is provided in a container and method mentioned above that the outer contour of the connection region has sections which are arranged along a free-form line. It has been found in practice that this design contributes to a better filling behavior of the injection mold. The safety of the process can be improved, and the risk of liquid plastic reaching the outside of the label during the injection molding process is reduced. Moreover, the provision of an outer contour, which is arranged along a free-form line, helps to improve the flow behavior of the plastic in the injection molding in such a way that the difficulties encountered in the in-mold process are avoided and in particular no plastic undesirable on the outside of the Label arrives.
