La présente invention concerne un système à table de cuisson chauffante (1) dont la table de cuisson (2) possède une pluralité de zones de cuisson individuelles (6) et une unité de surveillance (3) sous la forme d'un dispositif de capture de séquence d'images, ladite unité de surveillance (3) étant installée sur une surface d'installation de façon à ce que sa configuration permette d'avoir un angle de vision directe afin de capturer toute différence visuelle se produisant dans un récipient de cuisson sur n'importe laquelle desdites zones de cuisson (6).
