Während der Strahlregler einen homogenen und nicht-spritzenden Wasserstrahl formen soll, ist das Vorsatzsieb dazu bestimmt, die im durchströmenden Wasser eventuell mitgeführten Schmutzpartikel zurückzuhalten. Der zwischengeschaltete Durchflussmengenregler hat das pro Zeiteinheit durchströmende Wasservolumen unabhängig vom Wasserdruck auf einen festgelegten Maximalwert einzuregeln und zu begrenzen. Der Durchflussmengenregler, das Vorsatzsieb und der Strahlregler der vorbekannten Einsetzeinheit weisen an ihren einander zugewandten Enden jeweils zueinander passende Anschlussmittel auf, die ein lösbares Verbinden dieser Einbauteile gewährleisten. Der topfförmige Strahlzerleger 28 weist einen abgewinkelten Umfangsrand auf, mit dem der Strahlzerleger 28 auf einem Ringabsatz am Innenumfang des Gehäuseteiles 25 aufliegt.
