Da im Allgemeinen zwei Normbreiten für derartige Gerüste 10 bzw. Gerüstelemente 28 vorgesehen sind, also beispielsweise eine Breite von etwa 0,73 Meter und eine Breite von etwa 1,09 Meter, kann durch entsprechende Dimensionierung des Horizontalholms 16 einerseits und des Horizontalholmverlängerungselements 34 andererseits eine einfache Anpassbarkeit an diese beiden allgemein eingesetzten Breiten von Gerüsten 10 gewährleistet werden.
