Definitions
- the present invention relates to the technical sector of cleaning an object, in particular by immersing it in a fluid comprising ferromagnetic components, and by stirring said ferromagnetic components by means of magnets.
- the invention particularly relates to a cleaning container for receiving the object to be cleaned, and a fluid comprising the ferromagnetic components.
- the invention finds particular application for the cleaning of dental prostheses. However, it may well be considered to clean other objects such as jewelry, mechanical parts or any other object suitable for such a type of cleaning.
- magnets arranged opposite the bottom of the container, driven in a rotational movement, and able to emit a magnetic field inside the latter
- the types of containers used for the aforementioned cleaning are of the type comprising a bottom wall, a side wall, and a closure cover. However, these are not entirely satisfactory in that they reduce the effectiveness of cleaning the object. Indeed, during cleaning, the ferromagnetic components tend to stagnate at the periphery of the container.
- One of the aims of the invention is therefore to remedy at least the aforementioned drawback by proposing a cleaning container for an object immersed in a fluid comprising ferromagnetic components.
- the container is intended to receive, in addition to the object to be cleaned, a fluid comprising ferromagnetic components.
- the container generally comprises a bottom wall, a side wall, and a removable closure cap.
- the container is transparent to magnetic fields and is particularly intended to be inserted into a suitable cleaning device, in particular of the type described above.
- the side wall of said container internally comprises longitudinal fins radially projecting.
- said fins are directed towards the central or median axis of the container.
- said fins are directed towards the axis of revolution.
- said fins not extending to the center of the container or to the central or median axis of the container. Typically, they protrude from the inner wall of the container from a distance of between 5 millimeters and 2 centimeters.
- the fins do not extend over the entire height of the container. Indeed, and according to an advantageous embodiment, a margin of about 1 cm remains between the bottom of the container and the lower end of each of the fins.
- the fins of the container make it possible to push the ferromagnetic components to the center of the container, thus optimizing their displacement within said container. Cleaning efficiency is unaffected and even increased.
- the container comprises four fins arranged symmetrically around the median axis of the container.
- the invention relates to a container intended to be inserted into a suitable device for cleaning an object, in particular by immersing it in a fluid comprising ferromagnetic components, and by mixing said ferromagnetic components by the action of magnets animated by a rotational movement.
- the ferromagnetic components are well known in the state of the art and are, for example, small, typically metallic and ferromagnetic needles. These components can thus be made of iron filings.
- the objects to be cleaned may be of any type suitable for such cleaning and are, for example, dental prostheses, jewelry, or even non-magnetic mechanical parts.
- the container (1) is transparent to magnetic fields and is generally cylindrical in shape. This defines in particular a bottom wall (1a) and a side wall (1b).
- a thread (2) is provided on the periphery of the container (1) and at its upper end, to receive by screwing a closure cover (3) comprising a complementary internal thread (3a).
- the container (1) is intended to receive, in addition to the object to be cleaned, a fluid comprising ferromagnetic components. It is advantageously made of plastic material by injection, and typically of polyethylene or polypropylene.
- the side wall (1b) of said container (1) internally comprises four longitudinal fins (4) projecting radially. These fins (4) are arranged symmetrically about the median axis of the container (1) and do not extend to the bottom (la) of the container (1) so as to leave a margin of about 1 cm between the bottom (la) of the container (1), and the lower end of the fins (4).
- These fins are advantageously derived from molding. They extend towards the center of the container, or more precisely of the median axis of the container, of a length close to 1 centimeter, and have a thickness of between 1 and 5 millimeters.
- the fins (4) of the container (1) allow to push the ferromagnetic components in the center of the container (1). In this way the efficiency of the cleaning is optimized, because of the formation of a vortex constituted by the ferromagnetic components under the action of the magnetic field generated by the magnets which is provided with the cleaning device receiving the container or bowl of the 'invention.
- the invention provides a device and a container (1) for cleaning an object immersed in a fluid comprising ferromagnetic components, giving complete satisfaction.
- the container (1) is advantageous compared to those of the state of the art in that it optimizes the cleaning efficiency.
