characterised in that the inlet connecting pipe (8, 9) opens into a substantially vertical slowing cylinder (15 or 19), provided for slowing the supplied water and having tangentialhelical water flow, which slowing cylinder is closed towards the cover (13) of the water-storage container (7) and is open at a distance from the bottom (11) of said water-storage container, and the water-storage container (7) is expanded in the region of its cover (13) by an air collection chamber (14) to which an overflow channel (16, 20), leading to the outside, for guiding away air and water exceeding a certain water level is connected, and in that, in order to produce a slowed tangential and helical water flow, the inlet connecting pipe (9) opens tangentially into the upper end of the slowing cylinder (19) and a helical guide surface is formed in the slowing cylinder (15), the overflow channel (20) starting from the air collection chamber (14) leading to the outside in the region of the bottom (11). - Water-storage container according to claim 1, characterised in that a ventilation slot is formed in the slowing cylinder (15) having an axial water flow, which slot starts from the opening of said slowing cylinder and extends in the longitudinal direction.
- Water-storage container according to any of claims 1 to 3, characterised in that a plurality of ventilation channels (17) are formed on the inside of the cover (13) and extend towards the air collection chamber (14).
- Water-storage container according to claim 4, characterised in that the cover (13) extends in the region of the ventilation channels (17) obliquely upwards towards the air collection chamber (14).
- Water-storage container according to any of claims 1 to 5, characterised in that baffle elements (18) for deflecting air towards the ventilation channels (17) are arranged on the bottom (11) of the water-storage container upstream of the suction connecting pipe (6).
- Water-storage container according to any of claims 1 to 5, characterised by the arrangement of an additional connecting pipe for providing water for a steam generation device and/or the use of the overflow for rinsing the inspection glass of a door.
