An den Luftsammelraum 14 schließt ein mit dem Laugenbehälter der Waschmaschine (nicht dargestellt) verbundener Überlaufkanal 16 an. In der zum Luftsammelraum 14 hin schräg ansteigenden Decke 13 des Wasservorratsbehälters 7 sind zudem sich in Richtung Luftsammelraum 14 erstreckende Entlüftungskanäle 17 ausgebildet. Die abgeschiedene, oberhalb des allmählich steigenden Wasserspiegels vorhandene Luft gelangt entlang der Entlüftungskanäle17 in den Luftsammelraum 14 und kann über den an den Luftsammelraum anschließenden Überlaufkanal 16 entweichen. Der Wasservorratsbehälter wird optimal entlüftet und es gelangt im Wesentlichen kein Luft-Wasser-Gemisch in den Saugstutzen 6. Durch das mit dem Luftsammelraum 14 vorhandene zusätzliche Volumen wird bei der Unterbrechung des Wasserzulaufs bei vollständig gefülltem Wasservorratsbehälter der Saughebereffekt unterbunden und der Wasservorratsbehälter kann bei hohem Füllstand nicht leer laufen. Über den Überlaufkanal 16 kann der Wasservorratsbehälter 7 auch für eine Türschauglasbespülung des Waschautomaten und mithilfe eines im unteren Bereich des Wasservorratsbehälters 7 angebrachten weiteren Ablaufstutzens für den Betrieb einer Dampfeinheit des Waschautomaten genutzt werden. Claims (7)

  1.     characterised in that the inlet connecting pipe (8, 9) opens into a substantially vertical slowing cylinder (15 or 19), provided for slowing the supplied water and having axial water flow, which slowing cylinder is closed towards the cover (13) of the water-storage container (7) and is open at a distance from the bottom (11) of said water-storage container, and the water-storage container (7) is expanded in the region of its cover (13) by an air collection chamber (14) to which an overflow channel (16, 20), leading to the outside, for guiding away air and water exceeding a certain liquid level is connected, and in that the inlet connecting pipe (8) starts from the bottom (11) of the water-storage container (7) and is connected to a standpipe (12) which is arranged coaxially in the slowing cylinder (15) designed for axial water flow and which ends at a distance from the closed cover of said water-storage container, the overflow channel (16) starting from the air collection chamber (14) leading to the outside in the region of the cover (13).

    characterised in that the inlet connecting pipe (8, 9) opens into a substantially vertical slowing cylinder (15 or 19), provided for slowing the supplied water and having tangentialhelical water flow, which slowing cylinder is closed towards the cover (13) of the water-storage container (7) and is open at a distance from the bottom (11) of said water-storage container, and the water-storage container (7) is expanded in the region of its cover (13) by an air collection chamber (14) to which an overflow channel (16, 20), leading to the outside, for guiding away air and water exceeding a certain water level is connected, and in that, in order to produce a slowed tangential and helical water flow, the inlet connecting pipe (9) opens tangentially into the upper end of the slowing cylinder (19) and a helical guide surface is formed in the slowing cylinder (15), the overflow channel (20) starting from the air collection chamber (14) leading to the outside in the region of the bottom (11).
  3. Water-storage container according to claim 1, characterised in that a ventilation slot is formed in the slowing cylinder (15) having an axial water flow, which slot starts from the opening of said slowing cylinder and extends in the longitudinal direction.
  4. Water-storage container according to any of claims 1 to 3, characterised in that a plurality of ventilation channels (17) are formed on the inside of the cover (13) and extend towards the air collection chamber (14).
  5. Water-storage container according to claim 4, characterised in that the cover (13) extends in the region of the ventilation channels (17) obliquely upwards towards the air collection chamber (14).
  6. Water-storage container according to any of claims 1 to 5, characterised in that baffle elements (18) for deflecting air towards the ventilation channels (17) are arranged on the bottom (11) of the water-storage container upstream of the suction connecting pipe (6).
  7. Water-storage container according to any of claims 1 to 5, characterised by the arrangement of an additional connecting pipe for providing water for a steam generation device and/or the use of the overflow for rinsing the inspection glass of a door.
