Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a sealing cap for a container plug inserted into a bung of a container, wherein the sealing cap has a cover plate with a fixing ring which is connected to a bottom of the cover plate, wherein the fastening ring a locking device for producing a releasable engagement connection with one on an inner wall Having a stopper recess of the bung stopper formed counter-locking device, wherein the cover disc has at its periphery a concentric with the mounting ring arranged edge skirt for covering an opening edge of the bung nozzle.
  • a sealing cap of the type mentioned is from the EP 2 144 821 B1 known.
  • the known sealing cap is designed so that when removing the sealing cap from the bung plug inserted into the bung the connection between the cover plate and the skirt should be destroyed to make a manipulation of the seal cap visible from the outside.
  • the bung has a radially outwardly projecting Sich ceremoniesswulst, the immediate is arranged below a lower edge of the skirt and the underreaching the skirt, such that without the use of special tools raised the skirt without destruction and so the sealing cap could be removed from the bung prevents.
  • a sealing cap for a container plug inserted into a bung of a container known, which, as explained above, from the EP 2 144 821 B1 has known seal cap, arranged on a cover disc edge skirt for covering an opening edge of the bung.
  • the skirt is formed so that the lower edge of the edge skirt rests on a formed on the bung neck support collar so that no gap remains between the lower edge of the skirt and the support collar, in which a knife blade or the like could engage to seal the seal without destruction Remove the bung.
  • the sealing cap can indeed be prevented that a manipulation on the sealing cap goes unnoticed.
  • the design of the sealing cap such that the edge skirt rests with its lower edge on the support collar of the bung, the process of ratcheting a locking device of the sealing cap, which is formed on a mounting ring of the sealing cap and the lower edge in a Level with the lower edge of the mounting skirt is obstructed. This is especially true when contaminants or the like are deposited on the support collar of the bung, the contact of the lower edges of the skirt and the mounting sleeve prevent with the support collar, so that a complete locking of the locking device is not possible.
  • the present invention is therefore based on the object to propose a sealing cap, which has an increased protection against tampering, without the secure locking connection between the sealing cap and the bung stopper is impaired.
  • the sealing cap according to the invention has the features of claim 1.
  • the fastening ring between the cover disc and the latching device in a support distance to the latching device on a support means for supporting the mounting ring against the inner wall of the plug well.
  • the skirting is divided by a predetermined breaking devices having edge apron break line of the cover plate, which in the attempt to pry by means of an inserted into a below the lower edge of the skirt apron blade or the like to pry the sealing cap from the bung, from the edge skirt over the Due to the support device predetermined breaking devices of the apron rupture line on the cover plate transmitted forces are not absorbed by a sufficient deformation of the mounting ring, but lead to a destruction of the predetermined breaking devices.
  • the plug depression reduces the triggering sensitivity of the predetermined breaking devices, so that even comparatively small forces acting on the skirting edge and the fastening ring not stiffened according to the invention do not destroy the predetermined breaking devices would cause destruction of the breaking devices.
  • the support device is formed on an axial end region of the fastening ring adjacent to the cover disk and the latching device is formed on a free end region of the fastening ring, we provide the widest possible support base for supporting the fastening ring.
  • the support means is arranged at about 2/3 of the height of the mounting ring in the axial end region of the mounting ring so as to provide a wide support base for receiving a bending moment acting on the mounting ring in the attempt to pry off.
  • the support means extends at least in sections over the circumference of the mounting ring. Since the container plugs used in the bung usually have in the plug well radially projecting, segmented projections as an abutment for a tool used for mounting the bung, it is sufficient if the support means sections, so is also formed like a segment over the circumference of the mounting ring to allow support of the mounting ring to the inner wall of the plug well mitressstory projections. In particular, this allows at least sections Training the support means centering the mounting ring in the plug well.
  • the support device is formed as a continuously formed support web, so as a circumferential and possibly intermittent Anformung, edge or embossing, in particular as a circumferential row of knobs, is formed in the plastic material of the sealing cap, a mold, for the preparation of the fastening ring provided with the support device seal cap is very easy to run.
  • a mold may be used, which is designed as a slide and whose removal from a mold cavity of the mold for producing the sealing cap allows the simultaneous formation of the support web and the locking device on the mounting ring.
  • the support means is adapted to abut the inner wall of the plug well after the engagement connection between the fixing ring and the plug well is made, we allow a particularly accurate centering of the fixing ring in the plug well.
  • the latching device is connected via a connecting device with a pull tab arranged on the edge skirt, wherein the connecting device has a cover strip formed in the lid strip, which is divided by lateral, predetermined breaking devices having lid strip lines of weakness of adjacent areas of the lid disc and a with the locking device of the fastening ring connected drawbar, wherein the cover strip extends from the pull tab on the circumference of the cover disc in a central inner part of the cover disc within the mounting ring and the drawbridge is disposed in an intersection between the cover strip and the mounting ring.
  • This particular embodiment of the sealing cap not only provides greater security against manipulation but also allows for particularly easy regular removal of the sealing cap from the bung of the bung by an opening movement in which the pull tab is always moved in the same direction.
  • After destruction of the predetermined breaking devices between the cover strip and the cover plate as a result of an obliquely upward movement of the pull tab is by continuing the movement in the same direction on the cover strip and the drawbridge between the cover strip and the mounting ring due to the connection of the pull bar with the cover strip in one Crossing area between the lid strip and mounting ring further exerted a tensile force on the mounting ring, which deforms the mounting ring in spite of the stiffening acting support means of the mounting ring inside and allows release of the engagement connection between the mounting ring and the container closure.

  • the pull bar has a parallel to the cover disc extending portion which is connected to the latching device, and has a subsequent, transverse to the cover plate extending portion which is connected to a arranged in the inner part of the cover plate cover strip portion of the cover strip, a largely radial alignment of a allows the locking device acting on the locking device tensile force, so that even a relatively low tensile force to separate the connection between the locking device and the container closure is sufficient.
  • the lid strip portion has a thickness reduced with respect to the lid disc, it is ensured that the rigidity of the lid strip portion is reduced from the rigidity of the lid disc, so that the effect of the pulling force acting on the latch means from the lid strip is increased.
  • the pull tab of the lid strip is formed in the skirt, such that the pull tab is connected to lateral predetermined breaking devices with adjacent areas of the skirt.
  • the fastening ring with the central inner part of the cover disc forms a cup part of the sealing cap, such that the inner part of the cover disc forms a cup base formed in the cover disc, and the cup bottom of an outer part of the cover disc is divided by a circular inner part-predetermined breaking line, a particularly rigid connection between the cover plate and the mounting ring is made possible so that indirectly via the cup bottom a predetermined breaking connection between the mounting ring and the cover plate is provided, which makes a manipulation of the seal cap thereby recognizable that is separated out of the cover disc together with the mounting ring of the cup bottom.
