Claims (12)

  1. Unité d'application (17) destinée à appliquer un additif sur une machine de fabrication de filtre de cigarette (1) ; l'unité d'application (17) comprenant :
    une cuve à toit ouvert (23) sur laquelle au moins une bande (13a ; 13b) de matériau filtrant est délivrée ; et
    un dispositif de pulvérisation (26) situé à l'intérieur de la cuve (23) et qui dirige un jet d'additif sur la bande (13a ; 13b) de matériau filtrant ;
    l'unité d'application (17) étant caractérisée en ce que, à l'intérieur de la cuve (23), le dispositif de pulvérisation (26) est monté pour se déplacer dans une direction d'ajustement (D) pour ajuster la distance entre le dispositif de pulvérisation (26) et la bande (13a ; 13b) de matériau filtrant.
  2. Unité d'application (17) selon la revendication 1, et comprenant un dispositif d'actionnement commandé électriquement (30) destiné à déplacer le dispositif de pulvérisation (26) dans la direction d'ajustement (D).
  3. Unité d'application (17) selon la revendication 1 ou 2, et comprenant :
    au moins un guide (31) situé dans une position fixe à l'intérieur de la cuve (23) et parallèle à la direction d'ajustement (D) ; et
    un corps de support (32) qui supporte le dispositif de pulvérisation (26) et est monté sur le guide (31) pour courir le long de ce dernier.
  4. Unité d'application (17) selon la revendication 3, et comprenant un crible (28) qui est interposé entre le dispositif de pulvérisation (26) et la bande (13a ; 13b) de matériau filtrant, comporte au moins une fenêtre traversante (29) permettant le passage de l'additif sur la bande (13a ; 13b) de matériau filtrant, et est fixé rigidement au toit du guide (31).
  5. Unité d'application (17) selon la revendication 3 ou 4, et comprenant un dispositif d'actionnement commandé électriquement (30) destiné à déplacer le dispositif de pulvérisation (26) dans la direction d'ajustement (D).
  6. Unité d'application (17) selon la revendication 5, dans laquelle le dispositif d'actionnement (30) comprend :
    une vis (33) qui est située dans une position axialement fixe à l'intérieur de la cuve (23), est orientée parallèle à la direction d'ajustement (D), et est insérée à l'intérieur d'un trou fileté (34) formé à travers le corps de support (32) ; et
    un moteur électrique (35) destiné à faire tourner la vis (33) dans les deux sens.
  7. Unité d'application (17) selon l'une des revendications 1 à 6, dans laquelle le dispositif de pulvérisation (26) comprend au moins une buse de pulvérisation (27) orientée parallèle à la direction d'ajustement (D).
  8. Unité d'application (17) selon la revendication 7, et comprenant un conduit de délivrance (36) destiné à délivrer un additif à la buse de pulvérisation (27), et qui comprend un tuyau souple (37) qui se déforme élastiquement à mesure que la buse de pulvérisation (27) se déplace dans la direction d'ajustement (D).
  9. Unité d'application (17) selon la revendication 7 ou 8, et comprenant une pompe de circulation (39) ayant une admission, qui aspire un additif à la fois de la cuve (23) et d'une cuve extérieure, et un côté de distribution qui délivre l'additif sous pression à la buse de pulvérisation (27).
  10. Unité d'application (17) selon la revendication 7, 8 ou 9, et comprenant :
    un conduit de délivrance (36) destiné à délivrer l'additif à la buse de pulvérisation (27) ; et
    un tube ondulé souple (43) qui entoure une portion d'extrémité (41) du conduit de délivrance (36), près de la buse de pulvérisation (27), et se déforme élastiquement à mesure que la buse de pulvérisation (27) se déplace dans la direction d'ajustement (D).
  11. Unité d'application (17) selon la revendication 10, dans laquelle la portion d'extrémité (41) du conduit de délivrance (36) glisse librement à l'intérieur d'un trou traversant (42) formé à travers une paroi basse (24) de la cuve (23).
  12. Procédé d'application d'un additif d'une machine de fabrication de filtre de cigarette (1) ; le procédé comprenant les étapes de :
    délivrance d'au moins une bande (13a ; 13b) de matériau filtrant sur une cuve à toit ouvert (23) ; et
    direction d'un jet d'additif sur la bande (13a ; 13b) de matériau filtrant au moyen d'un dispositif de pulvérisation (26) situé à l'intérieur de la cuve (23) ;
    le procédé étant caractérisé en ce qu'il comprend l'étape supplémentaire de déplacement du dispositif de pulvérisation (26), à l'intérieur de la cuve (23), dans une direction d'ajustement (D) pour ajuster la distance entre le dispositif de pulvérisation (26) et la bande (13a ; 13b) de matériau filtrant.
