Abstract

L'invention concerne un système d'échappement (1) pour un moteur à combustion interne. Ce système est pourvu d'au moins un premier et un deuxième cylindre, un premier tuyau d'échappement (2) étant associé au premier cylindre et un deuxième tuyau d'échappement (3) étant associé au deuxième cylindre. Un premier silencieux (4) est associé au premier tuyau d'échappement (2) et un deuxième silencieux (5) est associé au deuxième tuyau d'échappement (3). Un premier tuyau d'amortissement (2'), lequel est guidé à travers le premier silencieux (4) et débouche dans le deuxième tuyau d'échappement (3) en aval d'un deuxième organe d'arrêt (7), bifurque du premier tuyau d'échappement (2) en amont d'un premier organe d'arrêt (6). Un deuxième tuyau d'amortissement (3'), lequel est guidé à travers le deuxième silencieux (5) et débouche dans le premier tuyau d'échappement (2) en aval du premier organe d'arrêt (6), bifurque du deuxième tuyau d'échappement (3) en amont du deuxième organe d'arrêt (7). Le mode de réalisation de l'invention permet de réduire à un minimum la pression des gaz d'échappement dans le système d'échappement.
