Definitions

  • the invention relates to a lid made of a paper material or a paper-like material for a beverage mug, a mug arrangement with a mug and a lid, and a method for producing a lid.
  • Lids for beverage cups have become established, for example, in the disposable area, particularly in system catering, in order to prevent accidental spilling of drinks and at the same time to allow drinking through a drinking opening in the lid.
  • Such lids are often made of plastic, but meanwhile lids made from renewable raw materials such as paper are increasingly being used.
  • a common feature of known lids made of paper material is that a lid plate rests on a mouth roll of a cup, so that the lid is supported on its mouth roll when pressed onto a cup and thus cannot slide further. Such a design is sufficient for most applications. This is particularly true when the cup is filled with a conventional drink such as a carbonated soft drink or a hot drink such as coffee.
  • lids made of paper material are, however, not suitable for beverages which overall protrude beyond the mouth roll. This occurs, for example, with a cappuccino that has frothed milk on top. However, it would be desirable to be able to close a mug made of paper material or paper-like material with a lid even with such beverages.
  • paper, cardboard or cardboard is regarded as paper material or paper-like material.
  • paper, cardboard or cardboard can be present in flat segments and these flat segments can then be wound on the one hand into a sleeve with a circumferential wall and also deformed to form a cup-shaped cover element, for example.
  • the paper material is expediently coated in a liquid-tight manner.
  • a sheet-like plastic material is also considered to be paper-like material, for example, if it is processed in the same way or at least similarly as paper material to form a cup or a lid.
  • Flat plastic materials are also, for example, plastic laminates.
  • the flat plastic material which is in segment form, is also wound around a winding mandrel and connected in the region of the overlap to form a, in particular conical, sleeve.
  • a Pot-shaped bottom or a pot-shaped cover element can be formed from the flat plastic material by folding a circular blank in its edge area somewhat vertically upwards relative to a bottom surface.
  • the present invention can be used for plastic materials to be processed like paper, but it is not specifically designed for plastic materials to be processed like paper, but can of course also be used for paper materials with considerable advantages.
  • a lid for a beverage cup made of a paper material which has a lid plate element and a wall element, the lid plate element forming a lid plate and a circumferential collar which extends downward from the lid plate.
  • a receptacle for a mouth roll of a cup to be closed is formed on the cover collar, for example in the form of a circumferential bead.
  • the cover collar is stabilized by the circumferential wall of the wall element lying on the radially outer side of the cover collar.
  • the circumferential bead in the cover collar can be arranged in such a way that the cover plate, when placed on a cup, is arranged somewhat above the mouth roll of the cup.
  • the lid can be made in two layers in the area of the bead.
  • a plastic lid for a cup with a mouth roll is known.
  • the plastic cover is made in one piece and has a dome-shaped cover plate with a through opening for inserting a straw.
  • a two-part cover is known from a paper material, which has a cover plate element with a circumferential, upwardly extending collar and a circumferential wall element.
  • the cover collar and the wall element are connected with a surrounding frame.
  • a receptacle for a mouth roll of the beverage cup is provided in the form of a circumferential bead in the wall element. The bead is arranged immediately below the cover plate, so that the cover plate is seated on an upper side of the mouth roll when it is in place.
  • a plastic lid for a beverage cup which has a circumferential receptacle for a mouth roll.
  • the receptacle is provided with a plurality of projections which extend radially obliquely inwards and upwards, which form a kind of barbs and in the fully fitted state of the lid under the mouth roll. Removing the lid is made considerably more difficult.
  • a one-piece plastic lid for closing a cup with a mouth roll.
  • a holder for the mouth roll is realized with a surrounding bead.
  • the bead is arranged in such a way that a cover plate of the cover is arranged at a distance above the mouth roll of the cup when placed on a cup.
  • a lid for a beverage cup which has a peripheral edge, the edge being provided for placement on a mouth roll of a cup.
  • the edge is provided with several indentations distributed over the circumference.
  • the indentations are arranged at a distance from a circumferential shoulder of the cover, so that a mouth roller can be received between the shoulder and the indentations.
  • the indentations When the lid is pushed on, the indentations thus slide over the outer edge of the mouth roller of the cup until the mouth roller snaps behind the indentations and is then received between the circumferential shoulder and the indentations.
  • the indentations thus serve to hold the lid on the mouth roll of the cup.
  • a lid for a beverage cup made of a paper material which has a cover plate element and a wall element.
  • the cover plate element forms a cover plate and the wall element forms a peripheral wall.
  • the lid has a receptacle for a mouth roll of the beverage cup which runs around a central axis and is designed as a bead in the wall element.
  • the cover plate and the peripheral wall are connected to one another in such a way that the cover plate is held at a distance above the receptacle.
  • a lid for a beverage cup made of a paper material which has a lid made in one piece.
  • the lid has a ceiling panel element and a wall element.
  • the ceiling tile element is in one Area which, in the assembled state, adjoins the mouth roller of the cup and is arranged within the mouth roller with respect to the lid opening, is provided with a circumferential bead. The mouth roll of the cup is then taken up between the wall element and the bead so that the lid is secured on the cup.
  • the peripheral wall is used as a supporting element for the lid plate, so that the lid plate can be arranged clearly above the mouth roll or above the rim of the cup.
  • This makes it possible to provide a free space above the mouth roll in which, for example, frothed milk from a cappuccino can be taken up.
  • specialty coffees such as cappuccino can also be offered in the area of disposable cups, such as those used in system catering, and the security associated with a lid can still be achieved.
  • Paper material or paper-like material can be printed at high quality and at the same time at low cost, for example by means of screen printing.
  • the lid according to the invention is advantageously easy to stack, easy to unstack and has a drinking opening as well optionally a filling opening arranged in the middle.
  • the cover plate can be provided with a drinking trough.
  • the cover plate therefore does not have to be completely flat.
  • the cover plate can also be designed obliquely to the top surface or to the top of the mouth roll of a cup.
  • the cover plate element and the wall element are designed separately, so that the cover consists of at least two parts. They can then be glued and / or sealed, for example.
  • the cover plate element and / or the wall element are preferably each formed from a renewable raw material, for example from paper or cardboard. It is preferably a material which is designed or equipped in such a way that it does not soak in typical uses.
  • the cover plate and the wall element can have different wall thicknesses and / or can also consist of different materials.
  • the lid can, for example, be round. However, it can also be square, for example square, the corners being rounded even in the case of square versions. This allows adaptation to corresponding shaped cups.
  • the distance preferably has a value between 5 mm and 20 mm. Typical hoods made from frothed milk can thus preferably be accommodated without the overall dimensions of a cup with a lid being too large.
  • the receptacle is designed as a bead in the wall element.
  • the wall element is made in two layers in the area of the bead. This allows the bead to be reinforced.
  • the wall element is turned over at a lower edge.
  • the wall element is turned over at its lower end, so that there is an inside, turned-over section of the wall element, which extends to somewhat beyond the bead. This increases the stability of the wall element in the area of the bead.
  • the receptacle is formed laterally to the cover plate by a bead in the cover plate element.
  • the cover plate element can thus take over the function of holding the cover on a mouth roll or at a distance from the mouth roll.
  • a two-layer frame is formed between the bead and the cover plate, which is at least partially sealed to the wall element. This frame is used in particular for stabilization.
  • the cover plate element can be firmly connected to the wall element.
  • the receptacle is formed by a number of indentations which are formed along the circumferential wall and point inwards.
  • this can mean that the receptacle does not rest on the mouth roll of a cup along the entire circumference, but rather only along some sections. This allows, for example, the production of a special optic which results from the outer surface recognizable by the indentations.
  • the cover plate element forms a circumferential collar laterally to the cover plate, which is bent upwards and is encompassed by a frame of the wall element.
  • This enables simple and reliable attachment of the cover plate element to the wall element.
  • the wall element on the frame can in particular be folded over on an upper edge, so that a shorter, folded-over section is located on the inside.
  • the collar of the cover plate element is then received between this folded-over, inner section and the remaining part of the wall element.
  • a connection between the wall element and the cover plate element can be made, for example, by gluing or sealing.
  • the circumferential wall assumes a constant angle to the central axis, at least outside the receptacle.
  • the peripheral wall in respective areas above and / or below the receptacle is at a constant angle to the central axis, and the peripheral wall is formed parallel to the central axis in an upper end area and / or a lower end area.
  • the peripheral wall is aligned parallel to the central axis in an area above the receptacle.
  • the circumferential wall widens in an upper end region towards the upper end.

Description

The invention relates to a lid made of a paper material or a paper-like material for a beverage mug, a mug arrangement with a mug and a lid, and a method for producing a lid.

Lids for beverage cups have become established, for example, in the disposable area, particularly in system catering, in order to prevent accidental spilling of drinks and at the same time to allow drinking through a drinking opening in the lid. Such lids are often made of plastic, but meanwhile lids made from renewable raw materials such as paper are increasingly being used. A common feature of known lids made of paper material is that a lid plate rests on a mouth roll of a cup, so that the lid is supported on its mouth roll when pressed onto a cup and thus cannot slide further. Such a design is sufficient for most applications. This is particularly true when the cup is filled with a conventional drink such as a carbonated soft drink or a hot drink such as coffee.

Known lids made of paper material are, however, not suitable for beverages which overall protrude beyond the mouth roll. This occurs, for example, with a cappuccino that has frothed milk on top. However, it would be desirable to be able to close a mug made of paper material or paper-like material with a lid even with such beverages.

For example, paper, cardboard or cardboard is regarded as paper material or paper-like material. For example, paper, cardboard or cardboard can be present in flat segments and these flat segments can then be wound on the one hand into a sleeve with a circumferential wall and also deformed to form a cup-shaped cover element, for example. The paper material is expediently coated in a liquid-tight manner. However, a sheet-like plastic material is also considered to be paper-like material, for example, if it is processed in the same way or at least similarly as paper material to form a cup or a lid. Flat plastic materials are also, for example, plastic laminates. To produce a cup or lid, the flat plastic material, which is in segment form, is also wound around a winding mandrel and connected in the region of the overlap to form a, in particular conical, sleeve. Also a Pot-shaped bottom or a pot-shaped cover element can be formed from the flat plastic material by folding a circular blank in its edge area somewhat vertically upwards relative to a bottom surface. However, the problems that occur with plastic material that is to be processed like paper are essentially the same as those that arise when processing paper material. The present invention can be used for plastic materials to be processed like paper, but it is not specifically designed for plastic materials to be processed like paper, but can of course also be used for paper materials with considerable advantages.

From the European patent application EP 2 674 370 A1 a lid for a beverage cup made of a paper material is known which has a lid plate element and a wall element, the lid plate element forming a lid plate and a circumferential collar which extends downward from the lid plate. A receptacle for a mouth roll of a cup to be closed is formed on the cover collar, for example in the form of a circumferential bead. The cover collar is stabilized by the circumferential wall of the wall element lying on the radially outer side of the cover collar. The circumferential bead in the cover collar can be arranged in such a way that the cover plate, when placed on a cup, is arranged somewhat above the mouth roll of the cup. The lid can be made in two layers in the area of the bead.

The bead is arranged immediately below the cover plate, so that the cover plate is seated on an upper side of the mouth roll when it is in place.

From the international publication WO 2012/094801 A1 a plastic lid for a beverage cup is known which has a circumferential receptacle for a mouth roll. The receptacle is provided with a plurality of projections which extend radially obliquely inwards and upwards, which form a kind of barbs and in the fully fitted state of the lid under the mouth roll. Removing the lid is made considerably more difficult.

From the European patent application EP 2 592 014 A1 a lid for a beverage cup is known which has a peripheral edge, the edge being provided for placement on a mouth roll of a cup. The edge is provided with several indentations distributed over the circumference. The indentations are arranged at a distance from a circumferential shoulder of the cover, so that a mouth roller can be received between the shoulder and the indentations. When the lid is pushed on, the indentations thus slide over the outer edge of the mouth roller of the cup until the mouth roller snaps behind the indentations and is then received between the circumferential shoulder and the indentations. The indentations thus serve to hold the lid on the mouth roll of the cup.

From the U.S. Patent 2,069,213 a lid for a beverage cup made of a paper material is known, which has a cover plate element and a wall element. The cover plate and the peripheral wall are connected to one another in such a way that the cover plate is held at a distance above the receptacle.

From the U.S. patent US 2,233,489 a lid for a beverage cup made of a paper material is known which has a lid made in one piece. It is an object of the invention to provide a stable lid made of paper material or paper-like material, with which an additional space is created above the rim of the cup. It is a further object of the invention to provide a cup arrangement with a cup and such a lid. Furthermore, it is an object of the invention to provide a method for producing such a cover.

This is achieved according to the invention by a lid according to claim 1, a cup arrangement according to claim 7 and a method according to claim 8. Advantageous refinements can be found, for example, in the respective subclaims. The content of the claims is made express reference to the content of the description.

The invention relates to a lid made of a paper material or a paper-like material for a beverage cup,
  • with a cover plate element and a wall element,
  • wherein the cover plate element forms a, in particular flat, cover plate and the wall element forms a peripheral wall,
  • wherein the lid has a receptacle for a mouth roll of the beverage cup that runs around a central axis, and
  • wherein the cover plate and the peripheral wall are connected to one another in such a way that the cover plate is held at a distance above the receptacle.

In the lid according to the invention, the peripheral wall is used as a supporting element for the lid plate, so that the lid plate can be arranged clearly above the mouth roll or above the rim of the cup. This makes it possible to provide a free space above the mouth roll in which, for example, frothed milk from a cappuccino can be taken up. This means that specialty coffees such as cappuccino can also be offered in the area of disposable cups, such as those used in system catering, and the security associated with a lid can still be achieved. Paper material or paper-like material can be printed at high quality and at the same time at low cost, for example by means of screen printing. The lid according to the invention is advantageously easy to stack, easy to unstack and has a drinking opening as well optionally a filling opening arranged in the middle. In the area of the drinking opening, the cover plate can be provided with a drinking trough. The cover plate therefore does not have to be completely flat. The cover plate can also be designed obliquely to the top surface or to the top of the mouth roll of a cup.

The cover plate element and the wall element are designed separately, so that the cover consists of at least two parts. They can then be glued and / or sealed, for example. The cover plate element and / or the wall element are preferably each formed from a renewable raw material, for example from paper or cardboard. It is preferably a material which is designed or equipped in such a way that it does not soak in typical uses. The cover plate and the wall element can have different wall thicknesses and / or can also consist of different materials.

The lid can, for example, be round. However, it can also be square, for example square, the corners being rounded even in the case of square versions. This allows adaptation to corresponding shaped cups.

The distance preferably has a value between 5 mm and 20 mm. Typical hoods made from frothed milk can thus preferably be accommodated without the overall dimensions of a cup with a lid being too large.

According to the invention, the receptacle is designed as a bead in the wall element. This corresponds to an easy to manufacture version. The wall element is made in two layers in the area of the bead. This allows the bead to be reinforced. For this purpose, the wall element is turned over at a lower edge. The wall element is turned over at its lower end, so that there is an inside, turned-over section of the wall element, which extends to somewhat beyond the bead. This increases the stability of the wall element in the area of the bead.

According to one embodiment, the receptacle is formed laterally to the cover plate by a bead in the cover plate element. The cover plate element can thus take over the function of holding the cover on a mouth roll or at a distance from the mouth roll. Preferably, a two-layer frame is formed between the bead and the cover plate, which is at least partially sealed to the wall element. This frame is used in particular for stabilization. In addition, the cover plate element can be firmly connected to the wall element.

According to one embodiment, the receptacle is formed by a number of indentations which are formed along the circumferential wall and point inwards. In particular, this can mean that the receptacle does not rest on the mouth roll of a cup along the entire circumference, but rather only along some sections. This allows, for example, the production of a special optic which results from the outer surface recognizable by the indentations.

According to one embodiment, the cover plate element forms a circumferential collar laterally to the cover plate, which is bent upwards and is encompassed by a frame of the wall element. This enables simple and reliable attachment of the cover plate element to the wall element. For this purpose, the wall element on the frame can in particular be folded over on an upper edge, so that a shorter, folded-over section is located on the inside. The collar of the cover plate element is then received between this folded-over, inner section and the remaining part of the wall element. A connection between the wall element and the cover plate element can be made, for example, by gluing or sealing.

According to one embodiment, the circumferential wall assumes a constant angle to the central axis, at least outside the receptacle.

According to one embodiment, the peripheral wall in respective areas above and / or below the receptacle is at a constant angle to the central axis, and the peripheral wall is formed parallel to the central axis in an upper end area and / or a lower end area.

According to one embodiment, the peripheral wall is aligned parallel to the central axis in an area above the receptacle.

According to one embodiment, the circumferential wall widens in an upper end region towards the upper end.

Within the scope of the invention, the above-mentioned versions of the orientation of the circumferential wall relative to the central axis can also be at least partially combined. In this way, the desired visual appearance of a respective cover can be achieved.

According to one embodiment, the cover plate is inclined relative to the receptacle and / or to the central axis. In this context, an inclination relative to the receptacle is understood to mean, in particular, an inclination relative to a plane in which there is a typical use of the lid as an attachment on a cup extends the mouth roll of the cup. It can thus be achieved that a liquid, for example a drink, which collects on the cover plate is guided in a defined manner to a specific position on the cover plate. This enables, for example, a controlled return of remaining liquid on the cover plate back into the cup through a hole in the cover plate. The liquid can also be collected in a defined manner. The head of the consumer can also have a lesser inclination when drinking.

Die Erfindung betrifft des Weiteren eine Becheranordnung

Dies hat sich in der Praxis gezeigt.By means of the described width of the receptacle of the cover or its seated part, an advantageous holder or seat of the cover on the cup is achieved. This has been shown in practice.

In the figures, each designated by the letter "a", a cup arrangement 5, each with a cup 10 and a lid 20 according to the respective exemplary embodiment, is shown in a perspective view.

In the figures designated with the letter "b", the respective cup arrangement 5 is shown in a sectional view, with a respective central axis 22 being additionally drawn in. The central axis 22 is in each case a central axis both for the lid 20 and for the cup 10. Furthermore, a cutout is drawn in each of the figures labeled with the letter "b", which is shown in the figure labeled with the letter "c" is shown in more detail. This is not the case only in the sixth embodiment.

A first cover 20 and a second cover 20a are shown in the figures, each designated by the letter "d", and are stacked one above the other. The sixth exemplary embodiment is again an exception, such a representation in Fig. 6c is shown. The central axis 22 is drawn in again here.

A description is now given of features which are present in all of the exemplary embodiments. The respective special features of the exemplary embodiments are then discussed separately.

The cup arrangements 5 according to the invention each have a cup 10 which has a circumferential mouth roll 12 on its upper edge. The mouth roller 12 is formed in that a jacket of the cup 10 is rolled outwards. This gives the consumer who drinks a beverage contained in the cup 10 without the lid 20 a pleasant feeling when drinking.

The respective cover 20 is applied to the cup 10. The lid 20 each has a receptacle 24 which is designed to rest on the mouth roller 12 of the cup 10. This ensures a stable hold of the lid 20 on the mug 10. The lid 20 is provided with a first large hole 31 through which one can drink or through which a drinking straw can be inserted. Another small hole 33 in the lid 20 is used for venting and, if necessary, for liquid to flow back from the lid 20 into the cup 10.

Each cover 20 has a wall element 40. This forms a peripheral wall 41, i.e. a rotationally symmetrical outer jacket of the cover 20.

Furthermore, the cover 20 each has a cover plate element 30 which is connected to the wall element 40 by means of adhesive. The cover plate element 30 forms an in particular flat cover plate 32. The term “flat” is understood here in particular to mean that the cover plate 32 appears smooth when viewed normally. This does not exclude that it can be inclined relative to the central axis 22, for example. A hole 31 for drinking is formed in the respective cover plate element 30.

In the first embodiment, which in the 1a to 1d is shown, the receptacle 24 is realized by a bead 43 formed in the wall 41. As shown, this is curved outwards and thus enables the mouth roller 12 of the cup 10 to be picked up. By the embodiment shown, in which the wall 41 below the mouth roller 12 again is inclined slightly inwards, a certain snap-in effect of the mouth roller 12 is achieved. This avoids inadvertent removal of the cover 20 from the cup 10.

Dies gilt sowohl für Abschnitte der Wand 41 oberhalb wie auch unterhalb der Sicke 43.Outside the bead 43, an angle of the side wall 41 to the central axis 22 is constant. This applies both to sections of the wall 41 above and below the bead 43.

Dies erhöht die Stabilität des Wandelements 40 im Bereich der Sicke 43.The wall element 40 is folded over at its lower end, so that there is an inside, folded-over section 42 of the wall element 40, which extends to a little beyond the bead 43. The wall element 40 is thus formed in two layers, in particular in the region of the bead 43. This increases the stability of the wall element 40 in the area of the bead 43.

At its upper end, the wall element 40 is also folded inwards so that a further folded section 44 on the inside is formed. The cover plate element 30 simultaneously forms an upwardly facing collar 34 at its outer end. The collar 34 is received in the folded-over wall element 40 in such a way that it is contacted on the inside by the further folded-over section 44 of the wall element 40. Such a design of the wall element 40 is also referred to as a frame 45.

An angle of the circumferential wall 41 relative to the central axis 22 is constant in the lid 20 according to the first embodiment outside the bead 43.

In the Fig. 1d two stacked lids 20, 20a are shown. The lower edge of the upper cover 20a sits on the bead 43 of the lower cover 20.

The lid 20 according to the second embodiment, which in the 2a to 2d is shown, differs from the cover 20 according to the first exemplary embodiment only in that the angle of the circumferential wall 41 deviates in the region of the frame 45. Specifically, the peripheral wall 41 is formed in the area of the frame 45 parallel to the central axis 22.

The lid 20 according to the third embodiment, which in the 3a to 3d is shown differs from the cover 20 according to the first exemplary embodiment in that the wall element 41 deviates from the other angle in a lower end region and is formed parallel to the central axis 22. This also applies to the lower folded section 42. Furthermore, the bead 43 is more pronounced than in the cover 20 according to the first embodiment.

The lid 20 according to the fourth embodiment, which in the 4a to 4d is shown differs from the cover 20 according to the third embodiment in that the angle of the circumferential wall 41 relative to the central axis 22 also deviates in the region of the frame 45 from the angle directly below it. In the area of the frame 45, the wall element 40 is formed parallel to the central axis 22, as is also the case with the second exemplary embodiment.

The lid 20 according to the fifth embodiment, which in the 5a to 5d is shown, differs from the cover 20 according to the second embodiment in that the cover plate 32 is inclined to the central axis 22. This makes it possible to ensure that liquid on the cover plate 32 is subjected to a gradient and thus collects in a defined position. The liquid can thus be removed from the cover plate 32 more easily, for example wiped off. This is typically a liquid which, for example when the cup 10 with the lid 20 is put on and put down, comes to drink on the lid plate 32 and remains there.

Fig. 5d zeigt zwei gestapelte Deckel 20, 20a. Fig. 5d shows two stacked lids 20, 20a. The cover plate 32 of the upper cover 20a sits with its lowest point on the upper edge of the frame 45 of the lower cover 20.

The lid 20 according to the sixth embodiment, which in the 6a to 6c is shown, differs from the cover 20 according to the fourth embodiment in that the cover plate 32 is inclined relative to the central axis 22. The same advantages are thus achieved as have already been described with reference to the fifth exemplary embodiment. The lower edge of the cover 20 is as in the third embodiment Figures 3a to 3d designed.

The 7a to 12d each show cup assemblies which do not form part of the invention, but which facilitate understanding of the invention.

Dies führt zu einer besonders hohen Stabilität in diesem Bereich 38.According to the lid 20 7a to 7d the receptacle 24 is designed differently than in the first to sixth exemplary embodiments. The cover plate element 30 is bent downwards to form a bead 36 which rests on the mouth roller 12 of the cover 10. The bead 36 is shaped by means of a suitable bending of the cover plate element 30. Above the bead 36, the cover plate element 30 forms a double-layered area 38, which is glued to the wall element 40. This leads to a particularly high stability in this area 38.

In order to enable the mouth roller 12 to snap into place, a smaller bead 47 is formed in the wall element 40 below the mouth roller 12, which surrounds the mouth roller 12 of the cup 10 partially from below.

Fig. 7d zeigt zwei gestapelte Deckel 20, 20a. Fig. 7d shows two stacked lids 20, 20a. The bead 36 of the upper cover 20a sits on the upper edge of the frame 45 of the lower cover 20.

The lid 20 according to 8a to 8d differs from the lid 20 according to FIG 7a to 7d in that the lower catch is not formed by a small bead 47, but by a section 48 of the wall element 40 bent over by 180 °. This also enables a defined engagement of the mouth roller 12, since the bent section 48 ends below the mouth roller 12. An unintentional removal of the lid 20 from the cup 10 is avoided.

According to the lid 20 9a to 9d is shown, the receptacle 24 is again designed differently. The receptacle 24 is embodied by means of a number of impressions 46 which are formed along the circumferential wall 41 and point inwards. These are each designed such that they provide a bearing surface for the mouth roller 12 of the cup 10 at the bottom. The impressions 46 can also be referred to as lugs, for example.

Below the mouth roller 12 there is in turn a section 48 of the wall element 40 which is turned inwards by 180 ° and which allows the mouth roller 12 of the cup 10 to be snapped into place from below. The wall element 40 also widens outwards over the cover plate 32, so that it has a truncated cone shape when the mouth roller 12 is maintained.

Fig. 9d zeigt zwei gestapelte Deckel 20, 20a. Fig. 9d shows two stacked lids 20, 20a. The upper cover 20a is seated with the bearing surfaces of the impressions 46 on the upper edge of the frame 45 of the lower cover 20.

According to the lid 20 10a to 10d the receptacle 24 is in turn formed by a circumferential bead 43 which, however, is flatter in comparison to the beads 43 of the first to sixth exemplary embodiments. Below the mouth roller 12, this is in turn engaged by a folded section 48 of the wall element 40.

In contrast to the previous exemplary embodiments, the cover plate element 30 is not held in a frame 45 of the wall element 40, but is rolled out at the edge and thus forms a further mouth roller 50. The cover plate element 30 is fastened to the wall element 40 at an upper section of the wall element 40 , on which the wall element 40 and the cover plate element 30 run parallel. The outside trained Another mouth roller 50 gives the consumer a feeling that is very similar to the feeling in the case where the consumer consumes the beverage contained in the cup 10 without the lid 20. In this case, he would have the mouth roll 12 of the lid 10 directly on the mouth. The further mouth roll 50 of the cover 20 imitates this feeling.

Fig. 10d zeigt zwei gestapelte Deckel 20, 20a. Fig. 10d shows two stacked lids 20, 20a. The upper cover 20a is seated with its bead 43 on the further mouth roller 50 of the lower cover 20.

According to the lid 20 11a to 11d the receptacle 24 is formed by impressions 46, as is the case with 9a to 9d the case is. In addition, another mouth roll 50 is formed, as is the case with 10a to 10d the case is. Regarding the details, please refer to the respective descriptions of the 9a to 10d referred.

According to the lid 20 12a to 12d is the receptacle 24 by a surrounding bead 43 as in 10a to 10d educated. In contrast to 10a to 10d However, no further mouth roller 50 is formed, but the cover plate element 30 and the wall element 40 are connected to one another by means of a frame 45, as is the case, for example, in the first exemplary embodiment. In contrast, however, the frame 45 is in accordance with 12a to 12d inclined inwards.

It is particularly in Fig. 12c to recognize that a part of the receptacle 24 of the cover 20 seated on the mouth roller 12 has a width of approximately half a width of the mouth roller 12. This enables advantageous stability to be achieved. Half the width of the mouth roll 12 is marked with X. Furthermore, the distance of the cover plate 32 above the mouth roller 12 is identified by Y.

Fig. 12d zeigt zwei gestapelte Deckel 20, 20a. Fig. 12d shows two stacked lids 20, 20a. A radially inwardly projecting edge 52 of the upper cover 20a bears against the outer side 34 of the frame 45 of the lower cover 20. Since the outside 34 is directed obliquely inwards, the upper cover 20a assumes a defined position on the lower cover 20.

In the further embodiment, which in Fig. 13 is shown, the cover 20 is not round as in the previous versions, but square. This enables adaptation to corresponding square cup shapes.

All of the exemplary embodiments have in common that the cover plate 32 is arranged at a clear distance above the mouth roller 12 of the cup 10. This makes it possible to add components of beverages, which protrude beyond the mouth roller 12, for example frothed milk a cappuccino in the space delimited by the peripheral wall 41 below the cover plate 32.
