Cover device according to any of the preceding claims, characterized in that the first slot (7) extending between the outer cover edge (8) and the cover opening (9) is formed of two abutting edges of the cover (1) and a second slot (10) extends around the ring segment (2) in its position at least partly extending the cover opening (9), wherein said second slot is formed of two edges abutting in this position of the ring segment, wherein one of said edges is the outer edge (11) of the ring segment (2) and the other edge is an inner edge (12) of the cover (1), said inner edge confining the cover opening (9), wherein the first slot (7) and the second slot (10) adjoin each other at the inner end of the first slot (7).
  5. Cover device according to claim 4, characterized in that the ring segment (2) has a third slot extending between its opening (4) and its outer edge (11), wherein said third slot and the first slot (7) adjoin each other at the inner end thereof when the ring segment (2) has a position in which it closes at least part of the cover opening (9).
  6. Cover device according to any of the preceding claims, characterized in that the joint portion between the ring segment (2) and the cover (1) has a folding notch (3) which forms a pivot axis about which the ring segment (2) can be pivoted relative to the cover (1).
  7. Cover device according to any of the preceding claims, characterized in that the cover (1) and the retainer for the drinking straw (5) are one part and the drinking straw (5) is the other part of an at least two-part kit in which the drinking straw (5) and the retainer are functionally unconnected.
  8. Cover device according to any of the preceding claims, characterized in that the cover (1) is integrally connected to its outer edge (8) by means of a plurality of tongues (15), each of which can be pivoted relative to the cover (1) into a position in which they rest externally on the vessel body such that the cover (1) is substantially unshiftable relative to the vessel body in a radial direction of the drink opening.
  9. Cover device according to claim 8, characterized in that each of the tongues (15) is connected to the cover (1) via a folding notch (16) which forms a pivot axis and the respective tongue (15) can be pivoted relative to the cover (1).
  10. Cover device according to claim 8 or 9, characterized in that the tongues (15) are spaced apart from one another in the peripheral direction.
  11. Cover device according to any of claims 1 to 7, characterized in that at its outer edge (8) the cover (1) is integrally connected to an edge fixing strip (17) extending in the peripheral direction, said strip being turnable relative to the cover (1) into a position in which it rests externally on the vessel body such that the cover (1) is substantially unshiftable relative to the vessel body in a radial direction of the drink opening, wherein the edge fixing strip (17) has two ends (18) spaced apart from one another in the peripheral direction, wherein a portion of the outer cover edge (8) extends between said ends, in which the outer end of the first slot (7) is disposed.
  12. Cover device according to claim 11, characterized in that the edge fixing strip (17) has one or more slots (19) which divide the edge fixing strip (17) into two or more portions.
  13. Cover device according to claim 11 or 12, characterized in that the edge fixing strip (17) is connected to the outer edge (8) of the cover (1) via one or more folding notches (20).
