Abstract
A glass cover has a central hole and a straight line cut AB from the hole to an outer edge. The size of the cover can be adjusted by moving one of the cut edges over the top of the other. The cut edges are secured in position with a contact adhesive strip that does not bond permanently. A drinking straw can be inserted in the central hole. The cover may be made of paper, board or flexible material of any shape e.g. square, triangular or circular, with an approximate thickness of 150gsm. The cover protects the contents of a glass from insects and airborne materials and can be stacked flat and carry printed designs, or printed information.

Description.
Glass cover.
The glass cover is a marketing product and a hygiene cover designed to protect the contents (Juices, wine, beer and all drinks) in drinking glasses from flies, flying insects, airborne materials and dust.
The glass cover is made from paper, board or other materials, which are flexible. The glass cover can be any preferred shape, square, triangular or circular in shape, diameter approximately 30cm, with a central, circular hole I Omm wide and a straight cut edge from the centre hole to the outer edge. There is 15mm strip of adhesive from the central hole along the cut edge to the outer edge.
The adhesive must be of a quality that does not cause a permanent bonding, but allows the edges to be moved, so that the size of the glass cover can be adjusted to fit large and small drinking glasses by moving the cut edge to accommodate the size required.
Glass covers are a new marketing product as well as a hygiene cover. Side A will carry printed designs, text or other printed information.
Glass covers can be stacked, flat, one on top of the other and easily peeled off when required.
The adhesive strip can be located on the top of the glass cover Side A or on the bottom Side B.
The central hole allows drinking straws to be used in the glass.
The drawing All shows the glass cover from the top view Drawing A2/shows a side view of a glass cover on a glass.

- Claims1. The glass cover is an adjustable, movable cover that fits over the top of drinking glasses, made from paper, board or other flexible materials, that can be adjusted manually by relocating the moving edges to fit the required size and which is held in its new size and shape by a non-permanent contact adhesive stnp on the moving edge (Drawing Al) 2 The hole in the centre of the glass cover allows drinking straws to be inserted into the glass and the size and shape of the glass cover can be adjusted without having to remove the drinking straw or removing the glass cover from the top of the glass.
