    - two support members (108a, 108b) each secured to a hinge lever (104a, 104b) and intended to retain a first end (110a, 110b) of an associated balancing spring (111a, 111b), a second end (112a, 112b) of the balancing spring (111a, 111b) being fixed to the body structure (103) of the vehicle,
    each support member (108a, 108b) comprising:
    - a support plate (113a, 113b) intended to be fixed by riveting (118a, 118b) to the associated hinge lever (104a, 104b), and
    - a support wire (114a, 114b) to which the end (110a, 110b) of the associated balancing spring (111a, 111b) is fixed, said wire (114a, 114b) being welded to the support plate (113a, 113b) and being configured so as to retain the balancing spring (111a, 111b) when the luggage compartment door (102) passes from its open position to its closed position and vice versa,
    the hinge device (100) being characterized in that
    - the support wire (114a, 114b) is configured so as to define a plurality of functional successive portions (119a, 119b; 120a, 120b; 121a, 121b; 122a, 122b; 123a, 123b), each support wire (114a, 114b) comprising, successively:
    - a first portion (119a, 119b) intended to be fixed by welding against the associated support plate (113a, 113b),
    - a second portion (120a, 120b) which is inclined with respect to the first portion (119a, 119b) in one and the same plane parallel to the support plate (113a, 113b) so as to offset the support wire (114a, 114b) with respect to the support plate (113a, 113b),
    - a third portion (121a, 121b) extending substantially perpendicularly to the second portion (120a, 120b) towards the rear of the vehicle, along a longitudinal axis (X) of the vehicle,
    - a fourth portion (122a, 122b) which is inclined substantially at a right angle with respect to the third portion (121a, 121b) so as to again offset the support wire (114a, 114b) from the support plate (113a, 113b),
    - a fifth portion (123a, 123b) defining the free end of the support wire (114a, 114b) and delimiting an elbowed zone (124a, 124b) with the fourth portion (122a, 122b), which elbowed zone (124a, 124b) defines an attachment zone for the end (110a, 110b) of the associated balancing spring (111a, 111b).
  2. Hinge device (100) according to the preceding claim, characterized in that, with each hinge lever (104a, 104b) having a square or rectangular cross section, each support plate (113a, 113b) is configured as an angle bracket with two walls (115a, 116a; 115b, 116b) which are positioned against two adjacent sides of the associated hinge lever (104a, 104b).
  3. Hinge device (100) according to the preceding claim, characterized in that said support plate (113a, 113b) is fixed to the associated hinge lever (104a, 104b) by means of at least three rivets (118a, 118b), two first rivets (118a, 118b) being arranged on a first wall (115a, 115b) of said support plate (113a, 113b) and a third rivet (118a, 118b) being arranged on the other wall (116a, 116b) of said support plate (113a, 113b).
  4. Hinge device (100) according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the support wire (114a, 114b) is secured to the associated support plate (113a, 113b) by means of at least two weld beads (117a, 117b).
  5. Hinge device (100) according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the support wire (114) is produced by folding, with the result that no rework operation on the associated balancing spring (111) is necessary after mounting.
