Description

  • Die Erfindung betrifft ein LED-Modul, eine Leuchte mit einem solchen LED-Modul und ein Verfahren zur Beeinflussung eines Lichtspektrums.
  • Ein Lichtspektrum oder auch Farbspektrum ist ein Teil des elektromagnetischen Spektrums, der ohne weitere technische Hilfsmittel vom menschlichen Auge wahrgenommen werden kann. Ein solches Lichtspektrum setzt sich aus emittierten oder reflektierten Spektralfarben einer entsprechenden Lichtquelle oder von Lichtquellen zusammen. Eine solche Lichtquelle sendet in der Regel Licht mit einem bestimmten Frequenzspektrum oder entsprechender Spektralverteilung aus, wobei die entsprechenden Frequenzen des Lichts seine Farbe bestimmen. Entsprechende künstliche Lichtquellen unterscheiden sich in Farbe, Helligkeit usw., wobei ein sichtbarer Teil des Lichtspektrums eine Wellenlänge im Bereich von in etwa 380 bis 780 nm beziehungsweise Frequenzen im Bereich von ungefähr 3,8 x 1014 bis 7,9 x 1014 Hz aufweist. Ohne optische Hilfsmittel sind entsprechende Farbkomponenten des Lichtspektrums nicht unterscheidbar, wobei viele Lichtquellen in der Regel ein Lichtspektrum als Kombination von unterschiedlichen Einzelfarben abgeben, die im Auge eines Betrachters zu einem Gesamtfarbeindruck beziehungsweise einer Mischfarbe führen. Eine solche Lichtfarbe entspricht einem Farbeindruck des Lichts, das direkt von einer entsprechenden selbstleuchtenden Lichtquelle stammt. Dabei hängt die Lichtfarbe von der spektralen Zusammensetzung dieser Strahlung ab.
  • Hinsichtlich der Lichtfarbe ergeben sich selbst bei einem an sich "weißen" Licht unterschiedliche Unterteilungen, wie warmweiß, neutralweiß, Tageslichtweiß und dergleichen. Jedem dieser entsprechenden Weißtöne wird eine unterschiedliche Wirkung auf den Menschen zugeordnet. Auch bei anderen Lichtfarben werden entsprechende psychologische Wirkungen auf den Betrachter diskutiert. Im Zusammenhang mit anderen Spezies ist außerdem noch zu beachten, dass diese in der Regel unterschiedliche Empfindlichkeiten für bestimmte Spektralbereiche im Vergleich zum Menschen aufweisen.
  • Im Zusammenhang mit der Lichtfarbe ist ein weiterer Parameter zu beachten, der als Farbwiedergabeindex bezeichnet wird.
  • Dieser Index ist eine fotometrische Größe, mit der sich die Qualität der Farbwiedergabe von Lichtquellen gleicher korrelierter Farbtemperatur beschreiben lässt. Als Referenz zur Beurteilung der Wiedergabequalität dient beispielsweise bis zu einer Farbtemperatur von 5000 K das Licht, das von einem schwarzen Strahler entsprechender Farbtemperatur abgegeben wird. Der Farbwiedergabeindex beträgt "100", wenn eine entsprechende künstliche Lichtquelle das Spektrum eines schwarzen Strahlers mit gleicher Farbtemperatur im Bereich der sichtbaren Wellenlängen perfekt nachbildet.
  • Ein Beispiel für in letzter Zeit häufig verwendete Lichtquellen sind LED-Lichtquellen, die wenig Energie verbrauchen und gleichzeitig eine lange Lebensdauer aufweisen. Entsprechende LEDs erzeugen in der Regel eine im Wesentlichen monochromatische Strahlung, wobei der Farbton des entsprechenden LED-Lichts durch die dominante Wellenlänge der entsprechenden Strahlung dominiert wird. Es gibt LEDs in verschiedenen Farben, wie rot, orange, gelb, grün oder auch blau. Ebenfalls sind weiße LEDs bekannt, wobei diese in der Regel eine Konversionsschicht verwenden, um eigentlich durch die LED erzeugtes blaues Licht in weißes Licht umzuwandeln. Solche Konversionsschichten sind ebenfalls aus Leuchtstofflampen bekannt.
  • Ein entsprechendes Emissionsspektrum einer LED ist relativ schmalbandig, wobei, siehe die vorangehenden Ausführungen, eine entsprechende dominante Wellenlänge und damit die Farbe des Lichts abhängig von den zur Herstellung eines entsprechenden Halbleiterkristalls der LED verwendeten Materialien ist. In der Regel enthält LED-Licht keine UV-oder IR-Strahlung.
  • LEDs werden bevorzugt als LED-Module hergestellt. Diese sind sehr flach und weisen eine Mehrzahl von LEDs auf einem Träger auf, wobei ein solcher Träger auch flexibel sein kann. Der Träger kann eine mit entsprechender Verdrahtung und/oder mit elektronischen Bausteinen bestückte Leiterplatte zur Betätigung der LEDs sein.
  • In der DE 10 2010 033 141 wird eine Leuchte beschrieben, bei der das erzeugte Licht hinsichtlich Spektralempfindlichkeiten unterschiedlicher Spezies beeinflusst wird. Als Lichtquelle einer solchen Leuchte wird beispielsweise ein vorangehend beschriebenes LED-Modul oder auch mehrere von diesen verwendet. Um das entsprechende Licht zu beeinflussen, wird eine Filtereinrichtung verwendet, die einen oder mehrere bestimmte Spektralbereiche des abgegebenen Lichts zumindest teilweise herausfiltert. Dadurch werden Spektralbereiche herausgefiltert oder zumindest abgeschwächt, in denen bestimmte Spezies und insbesondere Tiere eine höhere Empfindlichkeit aufweisen und in welchen Spektralbereichen diese Spezies gegebenenfalls negativ beeinflusst werden. Es ist selbstverständlich auch denkbar, dass der Spektralbereich des abzugebenden Lichts dahingehend ausgewählt wird, dass er eine oder mehrere Spezies positiv beeinflusst. Die entsprechende Leuchte kann beispielsweise zur Straßenbeleuchtung oder zur Beleuchtung von Bürgersteigen oder auch bei einer Beleuchtung in Parks oder dergleichen eingesetzt werden.
  • Es ist selbstverständlich auch möglich, eine entsprechende Filterung für Licht in Räumen durchzuführen, in denen bestimmte Spektralbereiche des abgegebenen Lichts Reaktionen oder dergleichen auslösen könnten, siehe beispielsweise biologische, chemische oder auch physikalische Anwendungen.
  • Bei der DE 10 2010 033 141 ist eine entsprechende Filtereinrichtung im Leuchtengehäuse oder im Bereich einer Lichtaustrittsöffnung des Leuchtengehäuses angeordnet. D. h., die Beeinflussung des entsprechenden Lichtspektrums oder Farbspektrums der Lichtquelle erfolgt durch eine zusätzliche Einrichtung. Nachteil einer solchen Einrichtung ist, dass ein Teil des Lichts zurückgehalten wird, und daher die Effektivität des gesamten Beleuchtungssystems vermindert wird. D. h., bei einer Filterung sinkt die Strahlungsleistung oder Strahlstärke gegenüber einer Leuchte ohne Filterung bei gleicher Leistungsversorgung. US 2010/020536 A1 beschreibt LED-Untergruppen als Teil von einer allgemeinen LED Anordnung. Das entsprechende Gesamtsystem wird zur Beleuchtung von Pflanzen verwendet, um deren Wachstum zu verbessern. Jede LED-Anordnung weist zwei oder mehr Typen von LEDs auf. Die Anzahl der LEDs jeder LED-Unteranordnung kann geändert werden oder es wird insgesamt der Strom einer Unteranordnung angepasst.
  • DE 10 2007 026867 A1 beschreibt eine Leuchte mit unterschiedlichen LED-Reihen verschiede ner Farben. Jede Reihe von LEDs dergleichen Farbe wird insgesamt gesteuert.
  • DE 10 2005 061204 A1 offenbart Untermodule mit LEDs der gleichen Farbe. Diese werden alle gemeinsam gesteuert und es besteht weiterhin die Möglichkeit, ggf. eine weiße LED hinzuzufügen.
  • DE 10 2004 006005 A1 beschreibt eine Notbeleuchtung. Ein Farbwiedergabeindex soll durch Hinzufügen einer weißen LED ggf. angepasst werden. LEDs der gleichen Art werden insgesamt optimal angesteuert. US 2009/323334 A1 beschreibt eine lineare LED-Anordnung. Diese dient zur Erzeugung von weißem Licht.
  • Der Erfindung liegt daher die Aufgabe zugrunde, eine Beeinflussung des Licht- oder Farbspektrums in einfacher Weise zu ermöglichen, ohne dass größere bauliche Änderungen oder zusätzliche Einbauten in einer entsprechenden Leuchte vorzunehmen sind, wobei nur eine geringe Anzahl von Leuchten verwendet wird.
  • Die Aufgabe wird erfindungsgemäß durch die Merkmale des Patentanspruchs 1 gelöst. Dies gilt analog für die Merkmale des Verfahrensanspruchs sowie eine entsprechende Leuchte mit einem solchen LED-Modul.
  • Erfindungsgemäß zeichnet sich das LED-Modul dadurch aus, dass bei insbesondere festgelegter Anzahl und Farbe der LEDs diese ein sich aus Einzellichtemissionsspektren jeder LED zusammengesetztes Gesamtlichtemissionsspektrums abgeben, wobei die LED's in den Intensitäten ihren Einzellichtemissionsspektren relativ zueinander variierbar sind. Das heißt, es werden bestimmte Anzahlen von roten, grünen, blauen, und/oder gelben
  • LEDs auf dem LED-Modul verwendet, wobei jede dieser LEDs in ihrer Intensität einstellbar ist, sodass durch Variation der Einzelintensitäten der entsprechenden Lichtemissionsspektren und durch anschließende Überlagerung dieser Spektren sich das Gesamtlichtemissionsspektrum ergibt.
  • Die entsprechende Leuchte weist zumindest ein LED-Modul auf, wobei auch mehrere solche Module verwendbar sind. Weiterhin weist eine solche Leuchte zumindest ein Leuchtengehäuse, eine im Leuchtengehäuse ausgebildete Lichtaustrittsöffnung, und eine Blendbegrenzungseinrichtung auf. Durch diese wird der Austritt des Lichts aus der Lichtaustrittsöffnung der Leuchte auf einen bestimmten Bereich begrenzt, um beispielsweise eine Blendwirkung der Leuchte zu verringern. Jede LED ist zur Abgabe einer im Wesentlichen monochromatischen Lichtstrahlung ausgebildet. Das entsprechende Einzellichtemissionsspektrum einer jeden LED ist an sich bekannt oder zumindest vorher feststellbar. LEDs mit unterschiedlicher monochromatischer Lichtstrahlung werden dann zusammen auf dem entsprechenden LED-Träger angeordnet und durch Überlagerung der Einzellichtemissionsspektren mit jeweiliger Intensität zu einem Gesamtlichtemissionsspektrum ergibt sich das entsprechend erwünschte Lichtspektrum der Lichtquelle. LEDs mit gleicher monochromatischer Lichtstrahlung sind jeweils auf einem Untermodul des LED-Moduls angeordnet. D. h., dass LEDs mit gleicher monochromatischer Lichtstrahlung jeweils zusammen angeordnet sind und je nach erforderlicher Anzahl der entsprechenden LEDs Untermodule mit solchen LEDs kombiniert werden. Die LEDs sind dabei relativ nahe zueinander angeordnet, sodass bereits in einem geringen Abstand und gegebenenfalls unter Zuhilfenahme entsprechender Reflektionseinrichtungen keine punktförmigen Lichtquellen mehr erkennbar sind, sondern nur noch die Überlagerung aller Einzellichtemissionsspektren zum Gesamtlichtemissionsspektrum für einen Betrachter erkennbar ist. Dabei ist jede LED einzeln ansteuerbar, d. h. insbesondere mit entsprechender Spannung beziehungsweise Stromstärke versorgt wird. Dadurch werden alle LEDs sicher gesteuert und das entsprechend abgegebene Einzellichtemissionsspektrum ist mit seiner entsprechenden Intensität gut reproduzierbar und in Addition aller Einzelemissionsspektren ist das Gesamtlichtemissionslichtspektrum sicher herstellbar. Es besteht ebenfalls die Möglichkeit, dass alle gleichfarbigen LEDs entsprechend mit ausgewählter Spannung bzw. Strom versorgt werden.
  • Verfahrensmäßig wird die entsprechende Lichtfarbe des von der Leuchte abgegebenen Lichts in der Weise beeinflusst, dass eine Mehrzahl von LEDs zumindest in einer Reihe und/oder einer Spalte auf einem entsprechenden LED-Modul angeordnet sind. Jede der LEDs gibt Licht gemäß einem Einzellichtemissionsspektrum mit entsprechend eingestellter Intensität ab, wobei sich die Einzelspektren aller LEDs zu einem Gesamtlichtemissionsspektrum überlagern, das das Lichtspektrum der Lichtquelle der entsprechenden Leuchte ergibt.
  • Durch Verwendung von Untermodulen besteht in einfacher Weise die Möglichkeit, je nach Erfordernis LEDs mit entsprechender Lichtfarbe zu kombinieren und auch bezüglich ihrer Anzahl auszuwählen. Werden beispielsweise mehr gelbe LEDs benötigt, werden mehr Untermodule mit solchen gelben LEDs hinzugefügt. Dies gilt analog für andersfarbige LEDs.
  • Es besteht allerdings auch die Möglichkeit, dass LEDs mit unterschiedlicher monochromatischer Lichtstrahlung auf einem Untermodul des LED-Moduls angeordnet sind. D. h., bereits auf einem Untermodul wird eine erwünschte Lichtfarbe durch Kombination verschiedenfarbiger LEDs mit entsprechender Intensität auf diesem Untermodul bereitgestellt. Eine Anzahl solcher Untermodule ist dann zusammen als LED-Modul verwendbar und diese ergeben das gewünschte Gesamtlichtemissionsspektrum.
  • Bei Anordnung der LEDs sind diese entlang wenigstens einer Reihe und/oder einer Spalte auf dem entsprechenden LED-Träger angeordnet. Wie bereits einleitend gesagt, kann ein solcher Träger eine entsprechende Leiterplatte zur Versorgung der LEDs, zur entsprechenden Verdrahtung für benötigte Verbindungen und auch zur Anordnung weiterer elektronischer oder elektrischer Einrichtungen sein.
  • Bei einer solchen Reihen- und/oder Spaltenanordnung besteht die Möglichkeit, dass beispielsweise entlang einer Reihe nur gleichfarbige LEDs oder entsprechend entlang einer Spalte solche LEDs angeordnet sind. Ebenfalls ist es denkbar, dass in jeder Reihe und/oder Spalte verschiedenfarbige LEDs vorgesehen sind.
  • Um gegebenenfalls den Farbwiedergabeindex der entsprechenden Lichtquelle zu erhöhen, können den monochromatischen LEDs weiße LEDs zugeordnet sein. Die Anzahl der weißen LEDs kann beispielsweise dadurch bestimmt werden, dass der Farbwiedergabeindex einen Wert von 100 oder zumindest nahe 100 erreichen soll.
  • Um gegebenenfalls das Gesamtlichtemissionsspektrum in einfacher Weise ändern zu können, ist es denkbar, dass Module und/oder Untermodule austauschbar in der Leuchte angeordnet sind. Dies kann analog für den entsprechenden LED-Träger gelten.
  • Um gegebenenfalls kurzfristig die Lichtfarbe der Lichtquelle zu ändern, kann es sich weiterhin als vorteilhaft erweisen, wenn die Untermodule einzeln ansteuerbar sind. D. h., dass beispielsweise ein Untermodul mit nur gelben LEDs nur dann zugeschaltet wird, wenn das Gesamtlichtemissionsspektrum durch Zuschalten dieser gelben LEDs entsprechend geändert werden soll. Dies gilt analog für andersfarbige LEDs, weiße LEDs und dergleichen.
  • Wie bereits weiter oben ausgeführt, kann eine solche Anpassung des Gesamtlichtemissionsspektrums insbesondere im Hinblick auf bestimmte Spezies erfolgen, die in einem Spektralbereich eine höhere Empfindlichkeit aufweisen. Es ist ebenfalls denkbar, dass die Anpassung des Gesamtlichtemissionsspektrums im Hinblick auf mehr als eine Spezies erfolgt, falls diese die gleiche Empfindlichkeit in einem spezifischen Spektralbereich aufweisen oder zumindest in nahe benachbarten Spektralbereichen. Es ist ebenfalls erfindungsgemäß möglich, einen bestimmten Spektralbereich durch Zuschalten von LEDs im Hinblick auf Lichtabgabe zu verstärken, falls die zuzuschaltenden LEDs beispielsweise in diesem Spektralbereich leuchten. Dadurch können gewisse vorteilhafte Wirkungen in dem spezifischen Spektralbereich erhöht werden.
  • Es besteht ebenfalls die Möglichkeit, dass nicht nur durch Zuschalten entsprechender LEDs das Lichtspektrum verändert wird, sondern auch durch gezieltes Abschalten bestimmter LEDs mit bekanntem Einzellichtemissionsspektrum. Auch durch ein solches Abschalten von LEDs und gegebenenfalls Variation der Intensitäten der verbleibenden LED's ergibt sich eine Veränderung im Gesamtlichtemissionsspektrum, das die erwünschte Wirkung aufweisen kann.
  • Im Folgenden werden vorteilhafte Ausführungsbeispiele anhand der in der Zeichnung beigefügten Figuren näher beschrieben.

  • Figur 1 zeigt eine perspektivische Ansicht von schräg unten auf eine Leuchte 2 mit einem erfindungsgemäßen LED-Modul 1. Bei dem dargestellten Ausführungsbeispiel sind entsprechende LED-Module 1 als Lichtquelle 13 beidseitig zu einer Lichtaustrittsöffnung 11 in einem Leuchtengehäuse 10 angeordnet. Die LED-Module 1 sind beide gleichzeitig ansteuerbar und mit Spannung beziehungsweise Strom versorgbar. Die dargestellte Leuchte 2 ist nur exemplarisch und vereinfacht dargestellt, wobei sie beispielsweise zur Beleuchtung von Wegen, Straßen oder dergleichen einsetzbar ist. Um eine gegebenenfalls vorhandene Blendwirkung des entsprechenden Lichtmittels innerhalb der Leuchte 2 zu vermeiden oder zumindest zu reduzieren, kann der Lichtaustrittsöffnung 11 eine Blendbegrenzungseinrichtung 12 zugeordnet sein, die beispielsweise die Lichtaustrittsöffnung 11 in Richtung der zu bestrahlenden Fläche verkleinert und gegebenenfalls zusätzlich von der Lichtquelle abgegebenes Licht auf nur einen bestimmten Bereich zur Beleuchtung begrenzt.
  • Es sind unterschiedliche Ausführungsbeispiele für ein entsprechendes LED-Modul 1 denkbar, wobei in den Figuren 2 und 3 zwei Ausführungsbeispiele dargestellt sind.
  • Bei dem Ausführungsbeispiel nach Figur 2 erfolgt eine Anordnung entsprechender LEDs 4 entlang einer Reihe 8. Die LEDs 8 sind alle auf einem LED-Träger 3 angeordnet, der beispielsweise als Leiterplatte ausgebildet ist. Der LED-Träger 3 mit LEDs 4 nach Figur 2 oder auch nach Figur 3 bildet ein entsprechendes LED-Modul 1. Es sei nochmals darauf hingewiesen, dass beispielesweise die Anordnung und Anzahl der LEDs 4 auf dem entsprechenden LED-Träger 3 nur exemplarisch und mit einer geringen Anzahl von LEDs 4 dargestellt ist. Es besteht ebenfalls die Möglichkeit, mehr LED-Träger 3 beziehungsweise LED-Module 1 in der Leuchte 2 nach Figur 1 zu verwenden.
  • Die verschiedenen LEDs 4 auf dem Träger 3 sind unterschiedlich farbige LEDs und weisen je nach Farbe ein anderes Einzellichtemissionsspektrum auf, siehe auch Figuren 4 und 6. LEDs sind im Wesentlichen monochromatische Lichtquellen, d. h. sie geben Licht nur in einem schmalbandigen beziehungsweise begrenzten Spektralbereich ab. Durch gezielte Auswahl entsprechender Halbleitermaterialien und deren Dotierung, können die Eigenschaften des von LEDs erzeugten Lichts variiert werden. Heutzutage gibt es LEDs von roter, orangener, gelber, grüner, blauer und violetter Farbe. Auch über diesen sichtbaren Bereich des Lichtspektrums hinaus ist Strahlung durch LEDs herstellbar, siehe beispielsweise den nahen Infrarotbereich bis zu eine Wellenlänge von 1000nm oder auch den ultravioletten Bereich.
  • Um mit einer Leuchtdiode weißes Licht zu erzeugen, wird beispielsweise eine blaue oder UV-LED eingesetzt, mit zusätzlich photolumineszierendem Material. Ähnlich wie bei Leuchtstoffröhren wird durch dieses Material das kurzwellige und höher energetische Licht in langwelligeres Licht umgewandelt.
  • Auf dem LED-Modul 1 beziehungsweise LED-Träger 3 ist eine entsprechende Anzahl von Einzel-LEDs 4 unterschiedlicher Farben angeordnet, siehe beispielsweise grüne LEDs 14, gelbe LEDs 15, orangene LEDs 16, rote LEDs 17, oder weiße LEDs 18.
  • Es sei nochmals angemerkt, dass Anordnung und Anzahl der LEDs nur beispielhaft ist.
  • Dies gilt analog für Figur 3, in der die entsprechenden LEDs 4 sowohl in Reihen als auch Spalten angeordnet sind, wobei bei dem dargestellten Ausführungsbeispiel fünf Reihen und zehn Spalten von LEDs auf dem entsprechenden LED-Träger 3 beziehungsweise LED-Modul 1 vorgesehen sind.
  • Auch bei diesem Modul nach Figur 3 sind unterschiedlich farbige LEDs sowohl entlang einer Reihe als auch einer Spalte anordbar.
  • Es besteht ebenfalls die Möglichkeit, dass ein entsprechendes LED-Modul 1 beziehungsweise LED-Träger 3 aus Untermodulen 7 zusammengesetzt ist. Diese können beispielsweise eine jeweils vorgegebene Anzahl unterschiedlich farbiger LEDs aufweisen, oder auch mit nur monochromatischen LEDs ausgestatten sein. Dies gilt analog für das Ausführungsbeispiel nach Figur 3.
  • Erfindungsgemäß hat es sich als vorteilhaft herausgestellt, dass die LEDs 4 auf dem entsprechenden Träger beziehungsweise vom entsprechenden Modul unterschiedlich angesteuert werden, d. h. individuell mit Spannung beziehungsweise Strom versorgt werden. Auf diese Weise ist ohne größeren Aufwand die Lichtabgabe einer jeden LED hinsichtlich ihres Einzellichtemissionsspektrums vorgegeben und gut bekannt, sodass die verschiedenen Einzellichtemissionsspektren zu einem Gesamtlichtemissionsspektrum überlagerbar sind, siehe die folgenden Ausführungen.
  • Es ist allerdings ebenfalls denkbar, dass die Untermodule separat angesteuert werden, wobei dies insbesondere günstig ist, wenn jedes Untermodul beispielsweise durch LEDs von nur einer Farbe besetzt ist. Das heißt, es könnten beispielsweise alle gelben LEDs aus- oder eingeschaltet oder in ihrer Intensität verändert werden, die auf einem spezifischen Untermodul 7 angeordnet sind. Dadurch würde in dem Gesamtlichtemissionsspektrum ein entsprechendes Einzellichtemissionsspektrum für die Lichtfarbe "gelb" fehlen oder zumindest in seiner Intensität verändert. Weiterhin besteht die Möglichkeit, mehrere Untermodule mit jeweils gleichfarbigen LEDs vorzusehen, sodass beispielsweise ein Untermodul mit gelben LEDs, zwei solcher Untermodule oder auch mehr ein-/ausgeschaltet oder intensitätsvariiert werden können. Dies gilt analog für andersfarbige LEDs.
  • Die vorangehenden Ausführungen sind ebenfalls gültig, wenn auf jedem Untermodul unterschiedlich farbige LEDs vorgesehen sind, sodass je nach Erfordernis für die entsprechende Beleuchtung weniger oder mehr solcher Untermodule miteinander in einer Leuchte angeordnet oder in einer Leuchte angesteuert werden.
  • In Figur 4 ist ein Ausführungsbeispiel für ein LED-Modul 1 mit einer Anzahl von Einzellichtemissionsspektren 5 dargestellt. Von links nach rechts in Figur 4 ist zuerst ein Einzellichtemissionsspektrum für die Farbe grün, für die Farbe gelb, für die Farbe orange, und für die Farbe rot dargestellt. Die Intensitäten der entsprechenden Spektren sind in Abhängigkeit von der Wellenlänge in nm angegeben, wobei beispielsweise die Intensitäten für die grünen, roten und orangenen LEDs gleich und im Wesentlichen dreimal größer als für die gelben LEDs sind. Ist man ausreichend weit entfernt von der entsprechenden Lichtquelle 13, beziehungsweise der Leuchte 2, überlagern sich die Einzellichtemissionsspektren zu einem Gesamtlichtemissionsspektrum 6, siehe Figur 5, bei dem keine LEDs 4, siehe Figuren 2 beziehungsweise 3, als Einzellichtquellen mehr erkennbar sind. D.h., Figur 5 zeigt eine Mischung von vier unterschiedlichen LED-Typen mit unterschiedlichen Lichtfarben, die außerdem in unterschiedlicher Anzahl vorgesehen sein können. Ein entsprechendes Gesamtlichtemissionsspektrum 6 ist bereits vor Aufbau der Lampe relativ gut durch entsprechende Computersimulation oder dergleichen aus den an sich bekannten Einzellichtemissionsspektren zusammensetzbar. D. h., es kann gezielt ein entsprechendes Gesamtlichtemissionsspektrum für vorgegebene Beleuchtungszwecke bei einer entsprechenden Leuchte realisiert werden.
  • In den Figuren 6 und 7 ist ein weiteres Ausführungsbeispiel dargestellt, wobei wiederum von links nach rechts in Figur 6 entsprechende Einzellichtemissionsspektren 5 für grüne, gelbe, orange, und rote LEDs dargestellt ist. In diesem Fall werden die entsprechenden LEDs mit bestimmten Prozentzahlen ihrer üblichen Intensität betrieben, wobei beispielsweise die Intensität der roten LED 37, 5%, der grünen LED 25%, der orangenen LED 100% und der gelben LED 87,5% jeweils der Original- oder Normalbetriebsintensität beträgt. Bei diesem Ausführungsbeispiel ist der relative Anteil von "grün" verringert im Vergleich zu Figur 5.
  • D.h., bei einer Spezies, die beispielsweise im grünen Bereich empfindlich reagiert, wäre eine Lichtquelle mit einem Gesamtlichtemissionsspektrum 6 nach Figur 7 von Vorteil. Umgekehrt könnte eine Lichtquelle mit einem Gesamtlichtemissionsspektrum 6 nach Figur 5 verwendet werden, wenn auf einen erhöhten Anteil im grünen Bereich Wert gelegt wird.
  • Die übrigen Anteile des Gesamtlichtemissionsspektrums nach Figuren 5 und 7 sind nahezu unverändert.
  • Durch entsprechende Auswahl der Anzahl, der Farbe und insbesondere der Variation der Intensitäten der verschiedenen LEDs eines Untermoduls 7 beziehungsweise des gesamten LED-Moduls 1 sind weitere Gesamtlichtemissionsspektren 6 je nach Wunsch und Erfordernis realisierbar.
  • Im Zusammenhang mit Figur 2 wurde auf eine weiße LED 18 hingewiesen, die zusätzlich zu den farbigen LEDs vorgesehen sein kann, um beispielsweise den Farbwiedergabeindex zu erhöhen. Selbstverständlich besteht in diesem Zusammenhang die Möglichkeit, auch mehrere solcher weißer LEDs zu verwenden.
  • Wie vorangehend erläutert, ergibt sich bei vorliegender Erfindung der Vorteil, dass auch mit einer relativ geringen Anzahl von LEDs eine gesteuerte Mischung von Licht durch Verwendung unterschiedlicher Intensitäten der jeweils eingesetzten LEDs möglich ist. Es besteht beispielsweise nicht die Notwendigkeit, durch Zu- oder Abschalten entsprechender LEDs mit vorgegebener Farbe das Gesamtlichtemissionsspektrum zu ändern. D. h., bei vorliegender Erfindung ist eine entsprechende Spektralverteilung mit einer geringen Anzahl von LEDs möglich. Dies ist beispielsweise von Vorteil, wenn kleine Lampen eingesetzt werden, die nur einen geringen Raum zur Anordnung von LEDs zur Verfügung stellen können.
  • Allerdings besteht ebenfalls die Möglichkeit, dass neben der Variation der Intensitäten der einzelnen LEDs oder zumindest der gleichfarbigen LEDs ebenfalls und zusätzlich zur Intensitätsvariierung eine entsprechende Variierung von Anzahl und/oder Farbe der LEDs erfolgt.

Claims (10)

  1. LED-Modul (1) für eine Leuchte (2) mit zumindest einem LED-Träger (3) und einer auf diesem angeordneten Mehrzahl von LEDs (4) (lichtemittierende Dioden), insbesondere vorgegebener Anzahl und Farbe, welche zur Abgabe eines sich aus Einzellichtemissionsspektren (5) zusammengesetzten Gesamtlichtemissionsspektrum (6) in Intensitäten ihrer Einzellichtemissionsspektren relativ zueinander variierbar sind, wobei das Gesamtlichtemissionsspektrum der Leuchte im Wesentlichen frei von Spektralbereichen ist, in denen zumindest eine spezifische Spezies, insbesondere Tierart, eine höhere Empfindlichkeit im Vergleich zu anderen Spezies aufweist, wobei alle LEDs getrennt ansteuerbar sind, wobei
    jede LED (4) zur Abgabe im Wesentlichen monochromatischen Strahlung ausgebildet ist und
    LEDs mit gleicher monochromatischer Lichtstrahlung jeweils auf einem Untermodul (7) des LED-Moduls (1) angeordnet sind, wobei alle LEDs getrennt ansteuerbar sind.
  2. LED-Modul nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass LEDs mit jeweils unterschiedlicher monochromatischer Lichtstrahlung auf einem weiteren Untermodul (7) des LED-Moduls (1) angeordnet sind.
  3. LED-Modul nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass LEDs entlang wenigstens einer Reihe (8) und/oder einer Spalte (9) auf dem LED-Träger (3) anordbar sind.
  4. LED-Modul nach einem der vorangehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass den monochromatischen LEDs weiße LEDs zur Erhöhung eines Farbwiedergabeindex zugeordnet sind.
  5. LED-Modul nach einem der vorangehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die LED-Module und/oder Untermodule austauschbar in der Leuchte anordbar sind.
  6. LED-Modul nach einem der vorangehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Untermodule (7) einzeln ansteuerbar sind.
  7. Leuchte (2) mit einem Leuchtengehäuse (10), wenigstens einem im Leuchtengehäuse (10) als Lichtquelle (13) angeordneten LED-Modul (1) nach einem der vorangehenden Ansprüche, einer im Leuchtengehäuse (10) ausgebildeten Lichtaustrittsöffnung (11), und einer insbesondere der Lichtaustrittsöffnung (11) zugeordneten Blendbegrenzungseinrichtung (12).
  8. Leuchte nach Anspruch7, wobei die Leuchte (2) als Wegeleuchte, Straßenleuchte oder dergleichen einsetzbar ist.
  9. Verfahren zur Beeinflussung eines Lichtspektrums einer Lichtquelle (13), welche Lichtquelle aus einer Vielzahl von in insbesondere Reihen (8) und/oder Spalten (9) auf einem LED-Modul (1) angeordneten Einzel-LEDs gebildet ist, wobei Einzelemissionsspektren der Einzel-LEDs, insbesondere bei vorgegebener Anzahl und Farbe der Einzel-LEDs, mit variierbarer Intensität zu einem Gesamtlichtemissionsspektrum als Lichtspektrum der Lichtquelle überlagert werden, wobei das Gesamtlichtemissionsspektrum der Leuchte im Wesentlichen frei von Spektralbereichen ist, in denen zumindest eine spezifische Spezies, insbesondere Tierart, eine höhere Empfindlichkeit im Vergleich zu anderen Spezies aufweist, mit einem gleichzeitigen und getrennten Ansteuern aller Einzel-LEDs durch einzelne Ansteuerung der Einzel-LEDs auf einem Untermodul (7) zur Auswahl der Anzahl von Einzel-LEDs bestimmter Farbe, wobei
    jede LED (4) zur Abgabe im Wesentlichen monochromatischer Strahlung ausgebildet ist und
    LEDs mit gleicher monochromatischer Lichtstrahlung jeweils auf einem Untermodul (7) des LED-Moduls (1) angeordnet sind.
  10. Verfahren nach Anspruch 9, gekennzeichnet durch Ansteuern einer Anzahl von weißen LEDs zusätzlich zu den angesteuerten farbigen LEDs.
