Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Ventilzeitsteuer-Steuervorrichtung, nämlich ein Nockenwellenversteller für eine Brennkraftmaschine. Die Ventilzeitsteuer-Steuervorrichtung weist einen Rotor (10,210), der mit einer Nockenwelle verbunden ist und mehrere Flügel hat, auf. Ein Stator (240,40) greift mit dem Rotor (10,210) ein und weist mehrere Stege (46) auf. Druckkammern (60) sind jeweils zwischen den Stegen (46) und Flügeln vorgesehen. Der Nockenwellenversteller ist ausgelegt, um sich automatisch zu seiner Mittenverriegelungsposition zu platzieren, ohne auf eine elektrische Steuerung zurückgreifen zu müssen. The invention relates to a valve timing control device, namely a camshaft adjuster for an internal combustion engine. The valve timing control apparatus has a rotor (10, 210) connected to a camshaft and having a plurality of vanes. A stator (240, 40) engages with the rotor (10, 210) and has a plurality of webs (46). Pressure chambers (60) are each provided between the webs (46) and wings. The phaser is designed to automatically position itself to its center locked position without resorting to electrical control. At least one embodiment of the present invention is configured to use cam torque to return oil from one side of the vanes of the rotor (10,210) to the other.
