Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Brennkraftmaschine, insbesondere Dieselmotor, insbesondere eines Kraftfahrzeugs, mit mindestens einem Arbeitszylinder, wobei jedem Arbeitszylinder mindestens zwei Einlassventile (78) und mindestens ein Auslassventil (80) zugeordnet ist, wobei mindestens zwei Nockenwellen (16, 18) vorgesehen sind, von denen wenigstens eine gemischte Nockenwelle (18) sowohl mindestens ein Einlassventil (78) als auch mindestens ein Auslassventil (80) betätigt, wobei an mindestens einer gemischten Nockenwelle (18), die sowohl mindestens ein Einlassventil (78) als auch mindestens ein Auslassventil (80) betätigt, ein Versteller (28) angeordnet ist, welcher Ventilsteuerzeiten der dieser gemischten Nockenwelle (18) zugeordneten Ein- und Auslassventile (78, 80) gegenüber den Ventilsteuerzeiten der mindestens einen anderen Nockenwelle (16) wahlweise nach Früh oder Spät verstellt. Hierbei ist mindestens an der gemischten Nockenwelle (18) mindestens ein Nockenträger (54) vorgesehen, wobei der Nockenträger (54) relativ zu dieser gemischten Nockenwelle (18) drehfest und axial verschiebbar auf der gemischten Nockenwelle (18) angeordnet ist, wobei der mindestens eine Nockenträger (54) mindestens einen Nocken (24, 26) aufweist, auf dem mindestens zwei unterschiedliche Nockenlaufbahnen (60, 62, 64, 66) ausgebildet sind, wobei Mittel (92, 96, 56, 58) zum-axialen Verschieben des mindestens einen Nockenträgers (54) gegenüber der gemischten Nockenwelle (18) zwischen einer ersten axialen Position und mindestens einer zweiten axialen Position vorgesehen sind.
