Definitions
- the invention relates to a suction hose for a vacuum cleaner. Furthermore, the invention also relates to a vacuum cleaner with such a suction hose.
- a suction hose for a vacuum cleaner is known per se, in particular for floor vacuum cleaners.
- the device part of the cylinder vacuum cleaner which comprises the suction fan intended to generate a negative pressure
- a floor nozzle which is usually located at the end of a suction pipe.
- the vacuum generated during operation by means of the suction blower then acts in the area of a suction mouth of the floor nozzle, so that suction of a respective substrate is possible in a manner known per se by moving the floor nozzle.
- a suction hose for a vacuum cleaner is known, the inner and outer diameter of which gradually increases from one end of the suction hose, which is fastened to a connection part for a floor nozzle, to another end of the suction hose, which is to be fastened to the vacuum cleaner.
- a suction hose for a vacuum cleaner is known which is widened on one side starting from a first small diameter to a second large diameter and tapers again on the other side to the first small diameter.
- a suction hose for a floor vacuum cleaner having a device side and a handle side, a diameter of the suction hose decreasing in the direction of the device side starting from a first diameter on the handle side.
- the suction hose has a first and a second end in the usual manner, the two ends being referred to below as the device side and the handle side for distinction.
- the device side of the suction hose is close to one of the handles compared to the handle side Vacuum cleaners included suction fans.
- the handle side of the suction hose is moved by the user of the vacuum cleaner during suction operation, namely usually by means of a handle.
- a floor nozzle connects directly or indirectly to the handle, for example using a so-called suction pipe.
- a diameter of the suction hose decreases starting from a first diameter on the handle side or in the region of the handle side in the direction of the device side. Due to the decreasing diameter of the suction hose, starting from the first diameter on the handle side or in the area of the handle side in the direction of the device side, the suction hose proposed here is - also in distinction to the suction hose according to the US 1,892,382 , in which the decrease in diameter takes place in the opposite direction - referred to as the anti-iconic suction hose and the underlying geometry as anti-iconic.
- the advantage of the invention is that by means of the described configuration of the suction hose, an optimization with regard to the air performance and the dust pick-up of the vacuum cleaner can be achieved without increasing the electrical power consumed for operating the suction fan.
- the suction hose can also end in a diameter that allows a direct connection to a device housing or a device on the device side.
- the suction hose proposed here can thus also be used directly together with series devices and vacuum cleaners that are already in use.
- the suction hose comprises three sections, namely a cylindrical section on the handle side directly adjoining the handle side and a cylindrical section directly adjoining the device side, each having a constant diameter, and an adjoining cylindrical section on the handle side and ending at the cylindrical section on the device side (anti-iconic ) Middle section with a decreasing diameter towards the device side.
- a suction hose has the anticonical geometry only in the area of the middle section on. With such a suction hose, too, a diameter of the suction hose decreases from a first diameter on the handle side in the direction of the device side. Even with such an embodiment of the suction hose, it is ensured that, owing to the smallest diameter on the device side, it can be used directly with standard devices and with vacuum cleaners that are already in use.
- the handle-side cylindrical section is longer than the device-side cylindrical section.
- the length of the handle-side cylindrical section is, for example, approximately 1,100 mm, while the length of the device-side cylindrical section is, for example, in a range from 20 mm to 200 mm, in particular 50 to 100 mm.
- As a measure of a diameter of the handle-side and device-side cylindrical section for example 41 mm or 34 mm can be considered.
- an anti-iconic suction hose with a handle-side cylindrical section, an anti-iconic middle section and a device-side cylindrical section the handle-side cylindrical section is longer than the middle section with the diameter decreasing towards the device side.
- the length of the anti-iconic central section is, for example, in a range from 500 mm to 1,000 mm, while the length of the handle-side cylindrical section is, for example, approximately 1,100 mm.
- the invention is also a vacuum cleaner with a suction hose of the type described here and below.
- FIG. 1 shows a schematically simplified representation of a vacuum cleaner 10 in an embodiment as a floor vacuum cleaner.
- a vacuum cleaner 10 in an embodiment as a floor vacuum cleaner.
- this comprises a device housing 12 with a suction unit (not shown) and a dust chamber.
- the vacuum cleaner 10 comprises a floor nozzle 14 at the end of a suction pipe 16.
- the floor nozzle 14 and suction pipe 16 are guided by means of a handle element 18.
- a suction hose 20 runs between the grip element 18 and the device housing 12.
- the floor nozzle 14 located at the end of the suction pipe 16 is coupled to the negative pressure generated by the suction unit during operation of the vacuum cleaner 10 in the dust space of the device housing 12, so that the suction unit also couples on a suction mouth formed in a bottom surface of the floor nozzle 14 and thus the suction of a respective surface to be cleaned is possible in a manner known per se.
- the suction hose 20 is designed in a manner known per se, for example as a one-piece spiral hose.
- the representation in Figure 2 shows the suction hose 20 in a schematically simplified form and both from the device housing 12 ( Fig. 1 ) as well as from the grip element 18 ( Fig. 1 ) solved.
- the suction hose 20 is shown in an elongated form with two free ends.
- a first end of the suction hose 20 is provided for coupling to the device housing 12 and accordingly this end and sections of the suction hose 20 directly adjoining it are referred to as the device side 22 of the suction hose 20.
- a second end of the suction hose 20 is provided for coupling to the handle element 18 and accordingly this end and immediately adjacent sections of the suction hose 20 are referred to as the handle side 24 of the suction hose 20.
- FIG. 2 The representation in Figure 2 is schematically greatly simplified. In particular, no attention is paid to a correct representation of a ratio of a length of the suction hose 20 to different diameters of the suction hose 20.
- the illustration is intended to illustrate that a diameter of the suction hose 20 decreases from a first diameter on the handle side 24 in the direction of the device side 22.
- the decrease in the diameter of the suction hose 20 is a strictly monotonous decrease in the diameter along the entire length of the suction hose 20.
- This geometry of the suction hose 20 is here and in the following also sometimes as an anticonical and the suction hose 20 as a whole as an anti-iconic suction hose Designated 20.
- the representation in Figure 3 shows a special embodiment of an anti-iconic suction hose 20 according to FIG Figure 2 .
- the suction hose 20 comprises three sections 26, 28, 30, namely a cylindrical section 26 on the handle side directly adjoining the handle side 24 with a constant diameter, a cylindrical section 28 on the device side directly adjoining the device 22 with a likewise constant diameter and a central section 30 with a decreasing diameter in the direction of the device side 22.
- the central section 30 adjoins the cylindrical section 26 on the handle side and ends at the cylindrical section 28 on the device side. Due to the decreasing diameter of the central section 30 from the handle side 24 in the direction of the device side 22, the constant or at least substantially constant diameter of the cylindrical section 28 on the device side is smaller than the constant or at least substantially constant diameter of the handle-side cylindrical section 26.
- the handle-side cylindrical section 26 of the suction hose 20 is, for example, longer than the device-side cylindrical section 28.
- the anti-iconic suction hose 20 - as shown - can also be designed such that the handle-side cylindrical section 26 is longer than the central section 30 with the in the direction of the device side 22 decreasing diameter.
- a suction hose 20 for a vacuum cleaner 10 and a vacuum cleaner 10 with such a suction hose 20 are specified, the ends of which are referred to as device side 22 and handle side 24 for distinction, with a Diameter of the suction hose 20 decreases from a first diameter on the handle side 24 in the direction of the device side 22.

Description
The invention relates to a suction hose for a vacuum cleaner. Furthermore, the invention also relates to a vacuum cleaner with such a suction hose.
A suction hose for a vacuum cleaner is known per se, in particular for floor vacuum cleaners. By means of the suction hose, the device part of the cylinder vacuum cleaner, which comprises the suction fan intended to generate a negative pressure, is connected to a floor nozzle which is usually located at the end of a suction pipe. The vacuum generated during operation by means of the suction blower then acts in the area of a suction mouth of the floor nozzle, so that suction of a respective substrate is possible in a manner known per se by moving the floor nozzle.

Just like with other household and electrical appliances, the energy efficiency of vacuum cleaners is becoming more and more important. The invention thus poses the problem of increasing the efficiency of a vacuum cleaner. The approach described below is intended to contribute to this.
According to the invention this problem is solved by a suction hose for a vacuum cleaner with the features of claim 1.
The advantage of the invention is that by means of the described configuration of the suction hose, an optimization with regard to the air performance and the dust pick-up of the vacuum cleaner can be achieved without increasing the electrical power consumed for operating the suction fan. As the diameter of the suction hose decreases towards the device side, the suction hose can also end in a diameter that allows a direct connection to a device housing or a device on the device side. The suction hose proposed here can thus also be used directly together with series devices and vacuum cleaners that are already in use.
Advantageous refinements and developments of the invention result from the following subclaims. References used here indicate the further development of the subject matter of the main claim through the features of the respective subclaim. They are not to be understood as a waiver of the achievement of independent, objective protection for the combinations of features of the related subclaims. Furthermore, with regard to an interpretation of the claims in the case of a more specific specification of a feature in a subordinate claim, it can be assumed that such a restriction is not present in the respective preceding claims.
In one embodiment of the suction hose, it comprises three sections, namely a cylindrical section on the handle side directly adjoining the handle side and a cylindrical section directly adjoining the device side, each having a constant diameter, and an adjoining cylindrical section on the handle side and ending at the cylindrical section on the device side (anti-iconic ) Middle section with a decreasing diameter towards the device side. Such a suction hose has the anticonical geometry only in the area of the middle section on.
34 mm in Betracht. In a particular embodiment of an anti-iconic suction hose with a handle-side cylindrical section, an anti-iconic central section and a device-side cylindrical section, the handle-side cylindrical section is longer than the device-side cylindrical section. The length of the handle-side cylindrical section is, for example, approximately 1,100 mm, while the length of the device-side cylindrical section is, for example, in a range from 20 mm to 200 mm, in particular 50 to 100 mm. As a measure of a diameter of the handle-side and device-side cylindrical section, for example 41 mm or 34 mm can be considered.
In a further or alternative embodiment of an anti-iconic suction hose with a handle-side cylindrical section, an anti-iconic middle section and a device-side cylindrical section, the handle-side cylindrical section is longer than the middle section with the diameter decreasing towards the device side. The length of the anti-iconic central section is, for example, in a range from 500 mm to 1,000 mm, while the length of the handle-side cylindrical section is, for example, approximately 1,100 mm.
Insgesamt ist die Erfindung auch ein Staubsauger mit einem Saugschlauch der hier und im Folgenden beschriebenen Art.Overall, the invention is also a vacuum cleaner with a suction hose of the type described here and below.
