Abstract

L'invention concerne un groupe-relais (1.1, 1.1', 1.2, 1.3, 1.3', 1.3", 1.3*, 1.4) d'un véhicule automobile, par exemple d'un véhicule utilitaire lourd, qui comporte une boîte de vitesses principale (HG; HG') comprenant au moins un arbre d'entrée (3; 17, 18) et un arbre principal (4; 19) côté sortie ainsi qu'au moins un groupe-relais à train épicycloïdal (GP, GP') monté en aval de la boîte de vitesses principale (HG; HG') et disposé entre l'arbre principal (4; 19) et un arbre de sortie (5). Le groupe-relais à train épicycloïdal (GP, GP') est conçu en mode à train épicycloïdal et il possède au moins deux étages de démultiplication commandables pour des gammes de vitesses différentes ainsi qu'un étage d'inversion de sens commandable pour une gamme de marche arrière. Le groupe-relais à train épicycloïdal (GP, GP') comporte deux jeux de satellites (PS1, PS2) accouplés l'un à l'autre, comprenant respectivement une roue solaire (6, 10), un porte-satellites(7, 11) portant plusieurs satellites (8, 12) et une couronne (9, 13). La roue solaire (10) du deuxième jeu de satellites (PS2) et la couronne (9) du premier jeu de satellites (PS1, qui est accouplée à ladite roue solaire, peuvent être bloquées solidaires du carter pour passer dans une gamme de vitesses à vitesse de déplacement plus basse par le biais d'un premier embrayage (L). Pour passer dans une gamme de vitesses à vitesse de déplacement plus élevée par le biais d'un deuxième embrayage (H), deux éléments des deux jeux de satellites (PS1, PS2) peuvent être reliés l'un à l'autre solidaires en rotation. Le porte-satellites (7) du premier jeu de satellites (PS1) et la couronne (13) du deuxième jeu de satellites (PS2), accouplée audit porte-satellites peuvent être bloqués solidaires du carter pour passer dans une gamme de vitesse arrière par le biais d'un troisième embrayage (R).
