Definitions
- a furniture panel with the features described above is from the DE 20 2011 004 030 U1 known. With the help of the top, facing away from the base plate layer of the laminate in transparent or translucent optics, a glass optics can be produced, which offers cost advantages over real glass.
- a disadvantage of real glass fronts is further that surface treatments are difficult to carry out due to the sensitive material glass. Basically, there is an ever-increasing need in the furniture industry for an individual optical design of the furniture panels with the greatest possible flexibility and at the same time acceptable costs. Here, furniture panels with real glass fronts reach their limits.
- the invention has for its object to provide a furniture panel with the features described above, which allows a simple and cost-effective way a visual appreciation of the furniture panel.
- the polymeric laminate has at least one spaced from the edges of the base plate milled, which serves for the optical design of the furniture panel.
- a generic Furniture panel can be visually upgraded in a very simple manner with the help of a corresponding milled into the surface of the polymeric layer composite, for example by this structure surfaces of real wood furniture fronts are modeled.
- the haptics and, correspondingly, the look of a real wood furniture front can be emulated, which is composed of a number of individual parts like a frame.
- the milling can be made with a, eg CNC-controlled, milling machine or in a so-called wood machining center (BAZ).
- the milled recess runs parallel to at least one edge of the base plate, this edge preferably forming a straight line.
- the milled slots can form a grid pattern or T-shaped connection points.
- the individual surfaces of the furniture panel formed and limited by the recesses have an edge length of at least 1 cm, preferably at least 2 cm.
- the milled recess has a curvature.
- the milling can describe a circle.
- the very easy machinability of the polymer layer composite also makes it possible that even complex engravings are produced by means of milling, for example by the milled cut represents a lettering.
- the milled recess may for example have a waveform, or it may be provided a plurality of, for example, mutually parallel, wave-shaped milled grooves.
- the milled recess may have a V-shaped, U-shaped or trapezoidal cross-section.
- the milled recess has a groove-shaped cross section with an undercut.
- the milling in addition to their optical function additionally also fulfill a technical function, for example in the form of a groove-shaped holder for the furniture board to be attached objects. This can be a holder for a kitchen roll, pots, cutlery or the like, for example, in kitchen fronts.
- the milled recess may have a depth of 0.05 to 7 mm, for example 0.3 to 2 mm or alternatively 2 to 7 mm. If the milling only has an optical / design function, lower milling depths are expedient, for example 0.05 to 0.2 mm for engraving or 0.5 to 1.5 mm for structural designs. By contrast, in the case of a milling having a technical function, significantly greater depths may be expedient, for example at least 3 mm, in particular at least 4 mm.
- a lacquer layer is applied to the outer surface of the polymeric laminate, which is used to protect the polymeric laminate and is generally transparent.
- the scratch resistance and / or the UV stability of the furniture panel surface can be significantly improved.
- the polymeric laminate may have a total thickness of 0.5 to 5 mm, preferably 1 to 3 mm.
- the uppermost layer may also consist of a polyolefin.
- This top layer has expediently a thickness of 1 to 3 mm, for example 1.5 to 2.5 mm.
- the uppermost layer is expediently transparent. Underneath a colored layer can be provided, which also has a certain translucency. In principle, the same materials are considered for this layer as for the topmost layer.
- this layer is suitably 0.1 to 0.3 mm.
- a colored layer of ABS (acrylonitrile / butadiene / styrene) and / or SAN this layer expediently having a thickness of 0.2 to 0.4 mm.
- This layer may be the lowermost layer of the polymeric laminate and then expediently produces the compound of the polymeric multilayer laminate with the base plate.
- the multilayered polymeric laminate can be produced by bonding the individual layers, for example by means of a calendering process or else by coextrusion of the layers.
- other methods for producing the multilayer laminate are also conceivable.
- the laminate consists only of the uppermost layer and is accordingly designed in a single-layered manner.
- a colored (possibly also white or black), preferably opaque covering, lacquer layer may be provided between laminate and base plate, which is for example painted on the underside of the laminate.
- This counter-reaction may also be multi-layered, e.g. with a core layer of a recycled material and layers applied on both sides of the core layer; wherein the two edge layers of the backing, for example, of a styrene copolymer, e.g. ABS, or PMMA and either both consist of the same material (eg ABS inner layer / ABS outer layer or PMMA inner layer / PMMA outer layer) or of different materials (eg ABS inner layer / PMMA outer layer or PMMA inner layer / ABS outer layer).
- a styrene copolymer e.g. ABS, or PMMA and either both consist of the same material (eg ABS inner layer / ABS outer layer or PMMA inner layer / PMMA outer layer) or of different materials (eg ABS inner layer / PMMA outer layer or PMMA inner layer / ABS outer layer).
- the milled recess may end normal to the panel within the laminate, preferably within the topmost laminate layer. This is particularly useful if the milled only fulfills an optical / designerische function. In the context of the invention, however, it is also the case that, as seen normal to the plane of the plate, the milling ends inside the baseplate, that is, the laminate is completely severed by the milled-in position. This too can result in interesting optical effects. However, this deep milling geometry is particularly advantageous also for the cases in which the milling in addition to its optical function also has a technical function, e.g. in the form of a retaining rail, should own.
- the base plate and the polymeric laminate are provided at the edge with at least one edge band, which covers both the base plate and the laminate at the edge. Accordingly, a border of the composite of base plate and laminate is achieved by the edge band, so that the furniture plate edges a have optically perfect appearance.
- the edge band is formed partially transparent, namely, in particular in the overlapping region of the transparent or translucent layer or layers of the polymeric laminate is transparent.
- the edge band consists of a polymeric material which can be easily processed.
- edge-side attachment of the edge band to the base plate or the polymeric laminate can be done via a, preferably transparent, laser functional layer with which the edge band is provided.
- the edge band can be attached to the edge of the furniture panel.
- Such a method is for example in the DE 20 2007 011 911 U1 described.
- the teaching of the invention finds particular applications in the kitchen furniture industry, but is also generally attractive for the office furniture industry. Basically, however, the use of the teaching of the invention in the furniture sector is not limited.
- Fig. 1 shows a basic structure of a furniture panel in an exploded view, the furniture panel is not provided here with a milled.
- the furniture panel has a base plate 1, which is formed inrangsbeipiel as wood chip or MDF board.
- a polymeric laminate 2 is applied, which has three co-extruded layers 3, 4, 5.
- the uppermost layer 3 of the polymeric laminate 2 in the exemplary embodiment consists of a transparent PMMA with a layer thickness of 2 mm. Below this, a colored PMMA layer with a thickness of 0.2 mm is arranged as the middle layer 4.
- the lowermost layer 5 of the laminate forms a 0.3 mm thick, colored layer of ABS or SAN.
- the visual impression of the polymeric laminate 2 is also determined by the lowermost layer 5.
- the lowermost layer 5 produces the composite of polymeric laminate 2 with the base plate 1, the laminate 2 being adhesively bonded to the base plate 1, for example, with an adhesive, not shown. It can also be seen that a lacquer layer 6 which increases the UV stability is applied to the uppermost layer 3 of the polymeric laminate 2.
- the base plate 1 has on its side facing away from the polymer laminate 2 a so-called.
- Gegenueback 7 which is also constructed of a plurality of layers.
- This counter-pull 7 serves to ensure that the base plate 1 does not warp unilaterally during application of the polymeric laminate 2 or in later use.
- the counter-train 7, in the exemplary embodiment, has a three-layered construction. It is provided a core layer 8 of a recycled material, which has a thickness of 1 -2 mm, for example, 1.5 mm. Layers 9, 9 'with a thickness of 0.1 to 1 mm, for example 0.5 mm, are applied to both sides.
- the base plate 1 facing inner layer 9 of the counter-train 7 is made of ABS, while the outer layer 9 'of the counter-train consists of PMMA.

Against this background, the invention has for its object to provide a furniture panel with the features described above, which allows a simple and cost-effective way a visual appreciation of the furniture panel.
Based on a furniture panel with the features described above, this object is achieved in that the polymeric laminate has at least one spaced from the edges of the base plate milled, which serves for the optical design of the furniture panel. According to the invention it has been recognized that a generic Furniture panel can be visually upgraded in a very simple manner with the help of a corresponding milled into the surface of the polymeric layer composite, for example by this structure surfaces of real wood furniture fronts are modeled. Thus, for example, by means of the teaching according to the invention the haptics and, correspondingly, the look of a real wood furniture front can be emulated, which is composed of a number of individual parts like a frame. The milling can be made with a, eg CNC-controlled, milling machine or in a so-called wood machining center (BAZ).
In the context of the invention, however, it is also possible that the milled recess has a curvature. For example, the milling can describe a circle. The very easy machinability of the polymer layer composite also makes it possible that even complex engravings are produced by means of milling, for example by the milled cut represents a lettering. Also, the milled recess may for example have a waveform, or it may be provided a plurality of, for example, mutually parallel, wave-shaped milled grooves. Overall, the teaching of the invention allows a very flexible processing of generic furniture panels, which specifically according to customer requirements can be designed individually, because the design variety are practically no limits.
The milled recess may have a V-shaped, U-shaped or trapezoidal cross-section. In the context of the invention, it is further provided that the milled recess has a groove-shaped cross section with an undercut. In particular, in this case, the milling in addition to their optical function additionally also fulfill a technical function, for example in the form of a groove-shaped holder for the furniture board to be attached objects. This can be a holder for a kitchen roll, pots, cutlery or the like, for example, in kitchen fronts.
The milled recess may have a depth of 0.05 to 7 mm, for example 0.3 to 2 mm or alternatively 2 to 7 mm.
In the context of the invention, it is the case that a lacquer layer is applied to the outer surface of the polymeric laminate, which is used to protect the polymeric laminate and is generally transparent. As a result, the scratch resistance and / or the UV stability of the furniture panel surface can be significantly improved.
The polymeric laminate may have a total thickness of 0.5 to 5 mm, preferably 1 to 3 mm. Conveniently, the uppermost layer of the polymeric laminate of PMMA (polymethyl methacrylate) and / or PC (polycarbonate) and / or SAN (styrene / acrylonitrile); Alternatively, the uppermost layer may also consist of a polyolefin. This top layer has expediently a thickness of 1 to 3 mm, for example 1.5 to 2.5 mm. The uppermost layer is expediently transparent. Underneath a colored layer can be provided, which also has a certain translucency. In principle, the same materials are considered for this layer as for the topmost layer. The thickness of this layer is suitably 0.1 to 0.3 mm. Below this is expediently a colored layer of ABS (acrylonitrile / butadiene / styrene) and / or SAN, this layer expediently having a thickness of 0.2 to 0.4 mm. This layer may be the lowermost layer of the polymeric laminate and then expediently produces the compound of the polymeric multilayer laminate with the base plate. In general, the multilayered polymeric laminate can be produced by bonding the individual layers, for example by means of a calendering process or else by coextrusion of the layers. However, other methods for producing the multilayer laminate are also conceivable. In principle within the scope of the invention, however, it is also the case that the laminate consists only of the uppermost layer and is accordingly designed in a single-layered manner. Likewise, a colored (possibly also white or black), preferably opaque covering, lacquer layer may be provided between laminate and base plate, which is for example painted on the underside of the laminate.
ABS-Innenschicht/PMMA-Außenschicht oder PMMA-Innenschicht/ABS-Außenschicht).In the context of the invention, it is provided on the side facing away from the polymeric laminate side of the base plate, a so-called. Gegenzug is provided which prevents distortion of the furniture panel. This counter-reaction may also be multi-layered, e.g. with a core layer of a recycled material and layers applied on both sides of the core layer; wherein the two edge layers of the backing, for example, of a styrene copolymer, e.g. ABS, or PMMA and either both consist of the same material (eg ABS inner layer / ABS outer layer or PMMA inner layer / PMMA outer layer) or of different materials (eg ABS inner layer / PMMA outer layer or PMMA inner layer / ABS outer layer).
The milled recess may end normal to the panel within the laminate, preferably within the topmost laminate layer.
The teaching of the invention finds particular applications in the kitchen furniture industry, but is also generally attractive for the office furniture industry.
