Description

DOMAINE TECHNIQUE DE L'INVENTIONTECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION

The invention relates to an arrangement for fastening apparatus to a play structure.

ARRIERE PLAN TECHNIQUE DE L'INVENTIONBACKGROUND ART OF THE INVENTION

  • au moins une armature présentant une paroi tubulaire métallique de section transversale constante sur au moins un tronçon de fixation ;
The invention more particularly relates to an arrangement for fastening apparatus to a game structure, the arrangement comprising:
  • at least one armature having a tubular metal wall of constant cross section on at least one attachment section;
  • at least one fastening collar which is intended to be fastened by clamping around said fastening section.

Such a game structure includes poles and frames. The apparatus, such as for example a swing, a rope or a rope ladder, are fixed on the frames by means of one or more carabiners. Each carabiner is received in an eyelet of a collar fixed by clamping on one of the frames.

Advantageously, such a game structure makes it possible to modulate the number and the position of the apparatus during assembly according to the desires of the customer. For this purpose, the collars are likely to be fixed at various locations on each frame, each attachment location varying according to the apparatus chosen by the customer.

Both Half-collars enclose the frame by means of bolts that are inserted into the side lugs of the collar. Thus the bolts do not pass through the tubular frame. Such a collar makes it possible to withstand a very high radial traction force on the carabiner, for example of the order of 200 kg.

Each tubular reinforcement here has a circular section of constant diameter over its entire length.

In this configuration, however, there are risks of sliding of the collar along the frame. For example, an axial tensile force of the order of 100 kg on the carabiner may be sufficient to slide the collar.

Similarly, the circular cross section of the frame promotes the rotational sliding of the collar around the frame. For example, a circumferential tensile force of the order of 50 kg on the carabiner may be sufficient to rotate the collar.

To solve this problem, it has been proposed to drill a hole in the frame to allow the collar to be fixed by means of a pin or a through screw.

However, this solution has the disadvantage of having to drill a hole at the selected location during assembly of the structure. However, this would require the installer to have expensive and cumbersome drilling tools.

In addition, the presence of holes in the tubular wall exposes the frame to water infiltration that could corrode the frame.

The document EN-A1-2.562.175 has already proposed a collar provided with a rib cooperating with a complementary shape of the frame to prevent its rotation.

However, this document does not provide any solution to the problem of axial sliding. In addition no solution is suggested to avoid corrosion of the frame.

BREF RESUME DE L'INVENTIONBRIEF SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

The invention proposes an arrangement of the type described above, characterized in that at least a first external lateral zone of the wall of said section comprises a series of identical notches distributed regularly axially, each notch being blind, the inner face of the collar comprising a counterpart complementary shape of a notch which is intended to be fitted with one of the notches during attachment of the collar to immobilize the collar axially in a selected position.

DESCRIPTION DETAILLEE DES FIGURESDETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE FIGURES

For the rest of the description, elements having an identical structure or a similar function will be designated by the same reference.

We will also adopt a local coordinate system having an axial orientation "A" directed tangentially to the axis "C" of the main frame 14, and a radial orientation orthogonal to the axial orientation "A". We will also adopt a circumferential direction which is orthogonal to the axial direction "A" and the radial direction.

We have shown figure 1 a game structure 10 which comprises a central mast 12 of axis "B" vertical rectilinear and a frame 14 whose axis "C" has a curved shape. This play structure is designed to be arranged outdoors. It must be able to withstand the corrosion caused by rain.

The mast 12 is anchored in the ground by its lower end foot, while its top end top 16 is free.

La deuxième extrémité 20 inférieure de l'armature 14 est ancrée dans le sol à distance du pied 15 du mât 12.A first upper end 17 of the armature 14 is joined to an upper end section of the pole 12 via a joint element 18. The second lower end of the frame 14 is anchored in the ground away from the foot 15 of the mast 12.

The curvature of the armature 14 is such that the "C" axis is orthogonal to the mast 12 at its upper end 17, while the "C" axis is substantially orthogonal to the ground at its lower end.

The armature 14 is made of a metallic material such as steel. The armature 14 has a tubular wall of constant cross section on at least one attachment section. In the example shown in the figures, the attachment section extends over the entire length of the armature 14, with the exception of the two ends 17, 20 of joining the armature to anchoring elements.

The armature 14 thus defines with the mast 12 a free space generally in the form of a quarter circle. Apparatuses are intended to be suspended from the frame 14 to be received in this free space.

In the example shown in figure 1 only one apparatus 22 is carried by the frame 14. This is a scale 22 of strings shaped spider web that fills the free space. The rope ladder thus has ropes which form rays 24 which diverge from the foot 15 of the mast 12 to different points of the armature 14, while other ropes form concentric quads which intertwine with the 24 rays to figure the spiral of the spider's web.

A first proximal end of each spoke 24 is attached to the foot 15 of the mast 12 through a chain 25 which is hooked to a common clamp 26. An opposing second end distal of each spoke 24 is attached to the frame 14 via a single carabiner 28 which is hooked to an associated clamp 30.

Each individual fastener collar 30 which is intended to be clamped about the frame 14 as shown in more detail in FIG. figure 2 .

Referring to the figure 3 , the collar 30 is formed by the assembly of two half-collars 30A, 30B. These two half-collars 30A, 30B have an identical structure. Each half-collar 30A, 30B is here made of a rigid plastic material, for example by molding.

Each half-collar 30A, 30B thus has an internal hicylindrical clamping face 32 having an axis parallel to the "C" axis of the reinforcement 14 and having a shape complementary to the half-section of the reinforcement 14.

Each lug 34A, 34B of one of the half-collar 30A is intended to be joined by an inner face 36 of seal with the lug 34A, 34B vis-à-vis the other half-collar 30B.

Each lug 34A, 34B has a through hole 38 in a circumferential direction. The orifice 38 of each lug 34A, 34B of one of the half-collar 30A is arranged in coincidence with the orifice 38 of each lug 34A, 34B of the other half-collar 30B when the half-collar 30A, 30B are joined on either side of the armature 14. These orifices 38 allow the passage of the screw 40 of a bolt. The screws 40 thus extend on either side of the armature 14, and thus do not pass through the wall of the armature 14.

The two half-collars 30A, 30B are tightened in joint position around the frame by screwing a nut 42 of the bolt on each screw 40, as shown in FIG. figure 4 . In this position, the internal clamping face 32 of each half-collar 30A, 30B is held firmly tight against the outer cylindrical face of the armature 14 between the head of the screws 40 and the nut 42.

The heads of the screws 40 and the nuts 42 are housed in countersinks 44 made in an outer face of each lug 34A, 34B. Thus, the users of the game structure are not likely to be injured by projecting elements on the collars 30.

The collar 30 further comprises an eyelet 46 for passage of the carabiner 28 which is formed in one of the ears 34B of each half-collar 30A, 30B.

Each half-collar 30A, 30B also has recesses 48 in its inner face 32 of clamping and in its internal face 36 of joint to allow to lighten the collar 30, and to reduce its cost of production while maintaining a sufficient tensile strength and rigidity for its use. Rigidity is ensured by the retention of ribs between the recesses 48.

In addition, the circular cross section of the armature 14 also exposes the necklace to risk pivoting about the axis "C" of the armature 14 in case of excessive circumferential force on the carabiner 28.

These problems are solved by blocking the collar 30 by means of notches 50A, 50B made in the armature 14, as is visible in FIGS. figures 3 , 4 and 5 . The collar 30 is intended to cooperate with one of the notches 50A, 50B to axially immobilize and pivot the collar 30 relative to the armature 14.

In addition, the structure 10 game is designed to allow to change at will equipment and their arrangement. For this purpose, the clamps 30 must be freely fixable in different axial positions of the armature 14. To do this, the armature 14 is provided with at least a first series of identical notches 50A which are regularly distributed according to the axial direction over the entire length of the frame 14. This series of notches 50A thus forms a kind of rack to freely select the position of each collar 30. The series of notches 50A here comprises more than three notches.

The internal clamping face 32 of at least one of the half-collar 30A, 30B comprises a counterpart 52 of complementary shape of a notch 50A. This counterpart 52 is intended to be fitted radially with one of the notches 50A during attachment of the collar 30 to the armature to immobilize the collar 30 axially in its selected position. This engagement of the counterpart 52 of the collar 30 with one of the notches 50A also makes it possible to prevent the rotation of the collar around the axis "C" of the armature 14.

The notches 50A are blind, that is to say they do not have a hole or tear through the wall of the frame 14. In other words, the tubular wall of the frame 14 remains full and continue at each notch 50A. This is particularly advantageous because, being a game structure designed to be installed outdoors, in the absence of holes in each of these notches 50A, rainwater can not penetrate inside the tubular frame 14. Thus, the armature 14 is not subjected to corrosion.

Each notch 50A here has a concave shape forming a depression with respect to the tubular wall. Each notch 50A is here formed by local deformation of the tubular wall of the armature 14, for example by stamping. Each notch 50A has more particularly a bowl shape, while the counterpart 52 of the collar 30 has a complementary shape of dome.

Alternatively, each notch has a convex shape that protrudes from the tubular wall of the frame. In this case, the counterpart of the associated half-collar has a concave shape complementary to that of the notch.

Toutefois, ledit jeu axial est inférieur à l'épaisseur d'un collier, par exemple de l'ordre de 1 cm.Advantageously, two adjacent notches 50A of the series are spaced apart by an axial distance "D" slightly greater than the axial thickness of the collar 30, as shown in FIG. figure 2 . Thus, it is possible to arrange two collars 30 side by side on two adjacent notches 50A. The adjective "slightly" means that there would remain axial play between these two necklaces. However, said axial clearance is less than the thickness of a collar, for example of the order of 1 cm.

By way of non-limiting example, two notches 50A adjacent are spaced about 5 cm, while each collar 30 has a thickness of about 4.5 cm. This makes it possible to have a multitude of positions all along the armature 14 for each collar 30. The collar 30 can thus be arranged freely over the entire length of the armature 14, guaranteeing axial locking and pivoting. collar 30.

Alternatively, two adjacent notches of the series are separated by an axial distance much greater than the thickness of a collar.

Alternatively, the collars are intended to be freely fixed on a fastening portion of the frame which does not extend over the entire length of the frame.

In the example shown in Figures 4 and 5 , the armature 14 comprises a second series of notches 50B which is identical to the first series of notches 50A described above. The first series of notches 50A is arranged on a first external lateral zone of the wall of the armature 14, while the second series of notches 50B is arranged on a second diametrically opposite external lateral zone. Each lateral zone is here arranged on either side of the curvature plane of the armature 14 which contains its axis "C". The notches 50A, 50B of each series are aligned in an axial direction parallel to the "C" axis of the armature.

The two series of notches 50A, 50B have the same number of notches 50A, 50B. Each notch 50A of the first series is arranged diametrically in coincidence with a notch 50B of the second series. Thus, the collar 30 is axially locked and pivoted simultaneously by two notches 50A, 50B coincidentally each nested with the counterpart 52 of each half-collar 30A, 30B.

The counterpart 52 of each half-collar 30A, 30B is arranged in the center of its internal clamping face 32. Therefore, the two counterparts 52 of the collar 30 are arranged diametrically vis-à-vis.

The two half-collars 30A, 30B equipped with their counterpart thus have an identical structure. This allows in particular to reduce their production cost by allowing their molding from a single mold.

This arrangement of the counterpart 52 also makes it possible to guarantee that the eyelet 46 of each collar 30 is directed towards the inside of the curvature of the armature 24, towards the floor.

In addition, this arrangement of the notches 50A, 50B with respect to the half-collars 30A, 30B makes it possible to automatically nest the counterparts 52 in the notches 50A, 50B associated during the positioning of the two half-collars 30A, 30B around the armature 14 by a radial movement orthogonal to the joint faces 36 of each half-collar 30A, 30B.

In the example shown in figure 1 the six spokes 24 of the rope ladder 22 are attached to the frame 14 by means of six collars 30. Each collar 30 is fitted with two opposing notches 50A, 50B. Notches 50A, 50B are left free between each collar 30.

If the user wishes to replace the scale 22 of strings by a swing, it is necessary to unscrew the bolts 40, 42 to be able to separate the half-collars 30A, 30B and thus disassemble each collar 30. The armature 14 is then completely free. Then, we fix the collars necessary for the suspension of the new apparatus facing notches 50A, 50B selected.

The arrangement made according to the teachings of the invention thus makes it possible to fix the collars at the chosen location while guaranteeing the immobility of the collar with respect to the reinforcement.

In addition, the absence of holes in each notch prevents the penetration of water inside the frame.

Achieving the notches by stamping makes it possible to obtain the reinforcement 14 quickly and inexpensively.
