It is intended to be housed in the internal volume of the body 5 and to be mounted in sealed engagement in or around the mounting projection 12 at one of its ends, preferably its lower end 14, while its other end 15 is closed by a closure means, for example a closure wall or a closure device 16.
- the inner shape of the lower end 14 is complementary shape to that of the mounting projection 12. The simple pressure contact must be able to ensure tightness.
- the first component 3 may be a solvent or a binder and the second component 4 a filler or a hardener.
- the closure device 16 is preferably a stopper whose depth, that is to say the length, is chosen so as to fill the volume of air that may exist in the upper part of the hollow tubular element 13, when it contains the second component 4.
- This plug will preferably include a means for evacuating the air driven during its depression represented in the form of a circle on the head of the cap.
- the closure device 16 may also be in the form of a lid or other removable closure means.
- the upper end 15 of the internal volume delimited by the hollow tubular element 13, closed by the closure wall or the closure device 16, is fixed or secured in a sealed manner to a shutter 17 sealingly mounted on the opening 8 of the body 5 of the disposable assembly 1.
- the hollow tubular element 13 and the shutter 17 are made in one piece, forming a reservoir-shutter 18 as shown only in FIG.
- closure device 16 is fixed or secured sealingly to the shutter 17, these two means may be provided in one piece.
- the closure device 16 may be in the form of an annular, square, triangular, oval, polygonal or other similar immobilization projection similar to the mounting projection 12.
- the closure device 16 will preferably have a closable vent so as to evacuate the air occupying its volume during its introduction.
- the shutter 17 has a through opening 19 provided for filling the remaining internal volume of the body 5 of the disposable assembly 1 by one of the components, for example the first component 3 or the base component.
- This through opening 19 is closed by another closure device 20, for example in the form of a plug, a lid 21 or any other sealing means.
- the shutter 17 is sealingly mounted on the opening 8 of the body 5 of the disposable assembly 1 for example by screwing, clipping, nesting, gluing, crimping or any other means.
- the shutter 17 may be flat or have a shoulder 22 on its periphery to mount it on the opening 8 of the body 5 of the disposable assembly 1.
- the shutter 17 is provided to be removed in whole or in part, for example by removal of a lid provided therein (not shown).
- the disposable assembly 1 of the invention may comprise a removable protective cover 23 mounted above the shutter 17, for example by screwing, clipping, interlocking or any other means on the opening 8 of the body 5 in order to protect the shutter 17 and shutter devices 16 and 20 during storage and at the time of preparation of the final product by mixing the two components.
- This cover is also used for the protection of product residues for example of painting between two separate uses in time.
- This cover 23 may have a part or matching part 24 provided for connecting the disposable assembly 1 of the invention to a spraying tool 25.
- the part or part of adaptation 24 has a distribution cone 26 or a particular technical form of adaptation to the gun inlet as shown in particular in Figures 3, 5 and 6
- the disposable assembly 1 then becomes a true full bucket which is disposable.
- the protective cover 23 is a separate removable and disposable piece or is complemented by another piece to form an adapter piece, thus allowing the body 5 to be mounted on a spray tool or to be painted. It is thus possible to use a complete and separate adapter piece 24 which can be mounted on the cover 23.
- a stopper 27 or other closure device 28 may be provided to close the part or adaptation part 24.
- This closure device 28 may be in one piece with the part or part of adaptation 24 or with the cover 23, for example by means of a flexible connection 29 as shown in Figures 5 and 6.
- the protective part or lid 23 may also be traversed by an opening 30 forming an air passage intended to replace the volume of the two-component product used and thus allow the flow when the disposable cup 1 of the invention is used. oriented with the lid up.
- This air passage opening 30 is preferably equipped with a closable vent device 31, for example similar to that present in the bottom 7 of the disposable assembly 1.
- the disposable cup 1 of the invention can advantageously be used in a vertical position in any orientation.
- Each closable vent 11, 31 may be manual or automatic.
- the disposable assembly 1 of the invention preferably comprises a filter 32 provided between the cover 23 and the body 5, in order to prevent the passage of a possible impurity in the spraying tool 25.
- the closable vent device 1 1 is previously introduced into it ( Figure 7).
- the hollow tubular element 13 and the shutter 17 are also placed in the body 5 of the disposable assembly 1, paying particular attention to the fact that the end 14 of the hollow tubular element 13 is housed interlocking or recessed sealed in the mounting projection 12 located in the bottom 7 of the disposable assembly 1.
- the disposable assembly 1 of the invention is preferably placed stably by its bottom 7 on a plane support, the first component 3 is introduced into the body 5 of the assembly. disposable 1 through the through opening 19 of the shutter 17 ( Figure 8).
- the through opening 19 is then closed by the closure device 20 while the second component 4 is introduced into the hollow tubular element 13 by its open end ( Figure 9).
- the two components 3 and 4 are then sealed in the disposable cup 1 of the invention and can be stored there for a long period of storage until they are used.
- the body 5 of the disposable assembly 1 of the invention once filled, is protected by the protective part or the cover 23 with or without an adapter part or part 24 ( Figures 1 1 and 12). It can also be conditioned both with a single lid 23 and with a lid 23 having a fitting part or part 24.
- FIGS. 13 to 18 illustrate the first variant of the invention, as previously, the use proceeds substantially from same principle for the second variant of the invention.
- the protective part or cover 23 covering the body 5 of the disposable assembly 1 of the invention is removed beforehand and the body 5 is stably positioned by its bottom 7 on a flat support (FIG. 13).
- the hollow tubular element 13 and the shutter 17 are then removed and can be discarded (FIG. 14).
- the two components 3 and 4 are then brought into contact by releasing the contents of the hollow tubular element 13. They are both in the body 5 of the disposable assembly 1 of the invention, but do not mix unless to be particularly miscible (Figure 15).
- the lid 23 is sealingly mounted on the opening 8 of the body 5 of the disposable assembly 1 and the assembly is shaken by the user ( Figure 16).
- a ball may be provided or introduced into the body 5 of the disposable assembly 1 of the invention in order to achieve a certain homogenization of the two components 3 and 4.
- the operator can also introduce a stirring tool into the body 5 of the disposable assembly 1 in order to mix the two components 3 and 4.
- the cover 23 can be replaced by the shutter 17 during the stirring of the two components 3 and 4.
- the body 5 of the disposable assembly 1 according to the invention then contains the bi-component product 2 which is ready for use, that is to say ready to be sprayed. It is advisable to close the body 5 by means of the cover 23, which significantly increases the shelf life of the two-component product 2 to be sprayed (FIG. 17).
- the body 5 of the disposable assembly 1 can then be mounted on a spraying tool 25 to spray the bi-component product 2 it contains. In this case, do not forget to release the opening
- a dip tube 33 can be mounted in the cover 23, preferably at the part or adaptation part 24 and so as to plunge into the body 5 of the disposable assembly 1, so that the bicomponent product 2 can be sucked through this dip tube 33 to be sprayed.
- the bicomponent product 2 may be stored for some time in the body of the disposable assembly 1 in anticipation of further use, although this shelf life is usually short and limited. When the bicomponent product 2 has been exhausted or its life is over, the disposable assembly 1 is considered used and can be discarded.
- FIG. 19 relates to a particular variant in which the lower end 14 of the central inner tubular element 13 rests on a conical projection 34 delimited by an annular support rim 35.
- the lower end 14 of the tubular element inside central 13 has for this purpose a complementary internal receiving conformation namely a conical cavity 36 adapted which is bordered by an annular range 37.
- the components contained in separate volumes must be well isolated from each other .
- the contact between the conical complementary shapes and the respective annular edges ensure a sufficient seal.
- the conical shapes are dissociated from each other and the contents of the volume of the hollow tubular element 13 is thus released and flows into the volume of the body 5 containing the first component .
- the two components are then vigorously mixed, for example by vigorous stirring of the body 5.
- the tapered projecting conformation 34 may be formed in the material of the bottom 7 or inserted in the central part of this bottom 7 or be made in the form of a separate piece called mounting and referenced in a general manner 12 throughout the description .
- this mounting piece is hollow, that is to say has an inner passage 38 to be through the air and liquids or pasty products or even granular or be hollow enough to receive another piece as shutter or stopper. Its interior passage can of course be equipped with a closable vent.
- This passage may advantageously serve as a filling conduit for the hollow tubular element 13 containing the second component 4 and be closed after filling.
- the variant shown in Figure 19 also has the following feature.
- the body 5 is made in two parts forming two cylindrical side walls including a transparent outer cylindrical side wall 39 and an opaque inner cylindrical side wall 40.
- a cup 41 with a transparent lateral surface 39 the bottom of which is the bottom 7 of the body 5 with its central mounting projection 12 for the tubular inner element 13.
- a transparent side wall 39 of the cup 41 can sliding the cylindrical side wall of a movable assembly 42 and extractable from the cup 41.
- It consists on the one hand of an opaque cylindrical element forming the opaque side wall 40 of the inner cylindrical volume of the body 5, which is in contact with the first component 3 and on the other hand with a closing piece 43 acting as a shutter 17 fixed to or connected to the upper end of the hollow tubular element 13.
- the bottom 7 of the cup 41 has an inner peripheral groove 44 intended to receive sealing and for its temporary retention by embedding, the lower peripheral edge of the side wall of the moving assembly 42.
- the upper edge of the opaque side wall 40 comes fit into an upper corresponding groove 45 of the upper closure part 43 of the body 5.
- the upper closure part 43 is advantageously covered by the protective part called lid 23 or the adapter part 24 while the upper edge of the the transparent lateral wall 39 comes to rest on a peripheral shoulder 46 provided in the upper closure piece 43.
- This variant therefore has the advantage of informing the user on the level of liquid remaining during work and the position of the liquid in the interior volume.
- FIGS. 20 and 21 show a particular form of the mounting piece 12 which obturates the lower end 14 of the hollow inner tubular element 13. It is a part 47 with a conical central projection 48, or hollow formed of a circular base 49 in disk extended upwardly by said conical central projection 48.
- This conical central projection 48 engages in interlocking or tight fitting in a complementary conical shape 50 recessed shaped in the lower end 14 the hollow inner tubular element 13 having a complementary shape adapted.
- the hollow shape for this mounting piece is preferred because it serves to serve as a vent and for the return of the component when filling the volume of the hollow tubular member 13.
- this passage is opening upwards by a orifice 51. If the shape and the volume of the cavity 52 of the hollow interior volume of the conical projection piece 47 are sufficient, it can receive the projecting portion 53 of complementary frustoconical shape for example of a removable closure piece 54 as shown in Figure 21 performing the function plug with a circular base 55 thus ensuring a good temporary seal.
- the conically projecting mounting piece 47 may have a central fractionable bottom portion, of the kind removable closure piece 56 having a gripping nipple 57. At least the circular central portion of its base could thus after splitting dissociate from the body of the mounting piece 47 and release the inner passage for filling the product and serve as a vent when used on the spray tool.
- a multi-component embodiment which may comprise several inner volumes each containing a component for example in the form of several concentric tubular elements whose volume of each of them is released successively in the peripheral volume remaining from the body 5.
- each component is contained in a separate individual container sealed from one another, without any of the components being able to mix before the preparation of the product to be sprayed.
- a communication can be obtained between these two at least individual containers so that the two at least components can be mixed in the same space without it being necessary to leave them and in which the mixture remains confined.
- the container body namely the largest, which can be closed by a tight cover to allow the mixing of the two components by vigorous stirring of the largest container .
- the two-component or multi-component product to be sprayed is prepared, it is sufficient to mount the largest container that contains the mixture on a paint or spray tool through an adapter piece for example a distribution cone cover.
