- the invention also relates to a food shredder with such a joint.
- Joints of the type mentioned are known for a variety of applications, especially for doors, furniture or kitchen appliances.
- food crushers which are designed as pincer-like hand tools for crushing smaller food, such as mushrooms, with an actuating part and with a base part, which has a cutting part, wherein the base part and the actuating part are articulated so that the actuating part for Pressing food to be shredded from an insertion position against the cutting part into a closed position and then from the closed position back into the insertion position is pivotable.
- DE 102 42 651 A1 describes a cutting device for foodstuffs or the like to be cut, with a cutting part on which a plurality of substantially parallel arranged knives are held with cutting edges which form a cutting surface for the cutting material, in strips or slices or like to share.
- An actuating part designed as a punch has a bottom surface which, with the interposition of the material to be cut, is directed toward and away from the cutting surface is movable away.
- the bottom surface has with the blades substantially corresponding groove or slot-shaped recordings with intermediate webs. The bottom surface acts on the material to be cut and moves it onto the cutting surface or between the blades.
- the cutting part and the punch are arranged in the region of the free end of a respective pliers arm, wherein the pliers arms are pivotally connected in the region of the other free end by means of a pivot bearing and wherein the pliers arms are biased by an spring in an open position.
- a similar device with a special cutting blade arrangement is known from DE 20 2007 018 922 111.
- the aforesaid devices are devices which are held in one hand like a pair of pliers and in which the comminuting operation is effected by closing the hand in which the comminution device is held and causing it to collapse two pliers arms.
- DE 10 2009 023 167 A1 discloses a device for cutting foodstuffs, such as fruits and vegetables, with a cutting part having a plurality of cutting edges and an actuating part, which are mounted pivotably relative to one another.
- the actuating part is pressed against the cutting part, wherein the actuating part has a punch which pushes the material to be cut through the cutting part, wherein the cutting dipped into corresponding recesses of the punch.
- the cutting part has a cutting frame in which cutting blades are held.
- the device further comprises a lid member for attachment to a receptacle for the cut cuttings, the lid member having an opening forming a passageway for the cutted cuttings.
- the known devices which are placed on a work surface have no drive means, so that both the pivotal movement of the insertion position in the closed position, as well as the pivotal movement must be made from the closed position to the insertion position by the user.
- the object is achieved by a joint, which is characterized in that the drive device is selectively switched on or off and / or that the supporting force of the drive device is adjustable.
- the joint according to the invention has the advantage that the support by The drive device can be used depending on the situation or tuned without having to replace the entire joint.
- a shutdown is preferably such that the first hinge part is freely pivotable relative to the second hinge part when the drive device is switched off. However, it can also be provided that a shutdown takes place in such a way that no pivoting of the first joint part relative to the second joint part is possible.
- a particularly advantageous embodiment may be provided in an advantageous manner that several, in particular exactly two, drive means and a plurality, in particular exactly two, coupling means are provided and that each of the drive means is selectively switched on or off by means of a coupling device.
- the plurality of drive devices can be switched on or off independently of each other.
- Such a design has the very special advantage that a support or effecting the pivoting movement can be completely switched off by switching off all drive means that maximum support or effecting the pivotal movement by connecting all drive means is possible and that also by connecting only a part of the drive means a Intermediate adjustment can be achieved.
- the joint has two mirror-symmetrically arranged part joints with coaxial pivot axes, for articulated coupling of the actuating part to the base part.
- each of the partial joints has a drive device or that a separate drive device is attached to each of the partial joints.
- the drive means are constructed and arranged mirror-symmetrically relative to each other.
- the drive means by means of a switchable coupling device optionally switched on or off.
- a switchable coupling device optionally switched on or off.
- a mechanical coupling of the drive means with the first hinge part and / or the second hinge part for example by producing a positive connection or a frictional connection, can be effected.
- the coupling device has a coupling element which can be transferred either into a coupling position or a decoupling position, wherein by the coupling element in the coupling position, a mechanical, in particular positive and / or non-rotatable, coupling a spring of the drive means to the first joint part or the second joint part is made and the mechanical coupling is released in the decoupling position.
- a mechanical, in particular positive and / or non-rotatable, coupling a spring of the drive means to the first joint part or the second joint part is made and the mechanical coupling is released in the decoupling position.
- one end and / or one leg of the spring is firmly connected to the first joint part, while the other end and or the other leg of the spring can be selectively coupled by means of the coupling element to the second joint part.
- one end and / or one leg of the spring is fixedly connected to the second joint part, while the other end and or the other leg of the spring can be selectively coupled by means of the coupling element to the first joint part.
- the coupling element engages in the coupling position in a recess of the first joint part or the second joint part and is arranged in the decoupling position outside of the recess.
- the recess may be arranged for example in a condyle or a condyle.
- the coupling element in the Coupling position relative to the recess of the first joint part or the second joint part in which it engages is arranged non-rotatably.
- This can for example be achieved in that the coupling element in cross-section out of round, in particular polygonal, is formed and engages in the coupling position in a corresponding, non-circular, in particular polygonal, recess of the first joint part or the second joint part.
- the coupling element is designed as, in particular linear, sliding slide.
- it can be provided, in particular, that it can be inserted to bring about the coupling position into a recess of the first joint part or the second joint part, in particular positively and / or non-rotatably, and is pulled out of the recess of the first joint part or the second joint part to bring about the decoupling position ,
- the joint in particular as a hinge joint, is formed with a condyle and a condyle.
- the recess into which the coupling element can engage is arranged in a part of the articulated connection, in particular in a joint head or a joint head receptacle.
- the coupling element which is designed for example as a slide, arranged on the pivot axis of the joint.
- the coupling element along the pivot axis of the Joint is slidably guided.
- the first joint part has a joint head and the second joint part has a condyle receptacle for the condyle.
- the second joint part has a condyle and the first joint part has a condyle for the condyle.
- one of the joint parts has a condyle receptacle into which a condyle of the other articulated part, for example designed as a journal, can be received to form the articulated connection.
- the condyle receptacle preferably has a guide for a coupling element designed as a slide, which can be displaced along the pivot axis of the articulated connection either in a coupling position or a decoupling position. In the coupling position engages a free end of the slide torsionally rigid in a recess of the joint head and coupled so fixed to the operating part spring, in particular coil spring or coil spring or leg spring, to the base part.
- the operating part spring in particular coil spring or coil spring or leg spring
- the spring is at least partially formed as a spiral spring which surrounds the pivot axis concentrically.
- the outer end of the spiral spring is fixed to one of the joint parts, while the inner end of the spiral spring is arranged in a longitudinal slot of the coupling element designed as a slide. In this way it is possible that the slider can be moved along the pivot axis, without bending the coil spring.
- the spring is designed as a helical spring, wherein one end of the coil spring is arranged to be linearly displaceable in a longitudinal slot of the coupling element designed as a slide, while the other end is fixed to one of the joint parts.
- the coupling element is designed to be non-circular in cross section at its free end, so that it can not rotate in the correspondingly formed receptacle.
- the articulated connection is designed such that the joint parts, at least in a certain pivot position, in particular exclusively by pulling the joint parts, are detachable from each other.
- Such a design has the very special advantage that the joint parts, for example, for a cleaning or maintenance process, can be separated easily and preferably without the aid of a tool.
- Another advantage of such an embodiment is that one of the joint parts, if necessary, can also be replaced by another joint part. In this way, different components, each having a corresponding hinge part, easily connected to each other in an articulated manner and again separated from each other.
- Such a tool-free separability of the joint parts for example, be achieved in that the condyle has a radial opening through which the condyle from the condyle receptacle in the radial direction is removable or insertable.
- the joint parts are at least in a specific pivot position, in particular exclusively by pulling apart the joint parts, independently of each other solvable, whether the drive device is switched on or off and / or regardless of whether the coupling element in the coupling position or in the Decoupling position is located.
- the receptacle has an additional, in particular radially aligned, opening, through which the coupling element, preferably in the radial direction, that is perpendicular to the Swivel axis of the joint, can be removed from the recording. It is therefore not necessary in such an embodiment, first to transfer the coupling element in the decoupling position and thus to remove from the receptacle to allow a release of the hinge parts from each other. Rather, as already mentioned, the coupling element can be removed through the additional opening from the receptacle.
- the switched-on drive device is supported on the one hand on the first hinge part and on the other on the second hinge part and / or that the switched-in drive device acts and / or is arranged between the first hinge part and the second hinge part.
- the joint can be designed, for example, as a hinge joint.
- the first joint part on the one hand has at least one condyle and the second joint part on the other hand has a corresponding condyle for the condyle, or conversely, the first joint part on the one hand at least one condyle and the second joint part on the other hand a corresponding condyle for the condyle having.
- the drive device can have at least one spring, in particular a spiral spring or a helical spring or a leg spring.
- the drive device may - alternatively or additionally - also have a gas pressure spring.
- the drive device can also be designed as an electromotive drive device.
- the drive device has at least one spring, which is tensioned when pivoting the first joint part relative to the second joint part and which relaxes in support of the return pivoting movement.
- Such a food shredder has the advantage that it can be adjusted depending on the nature of the material to be shredded so that a faster and more efficient shredding process is always possible.
- Such a food reduction device can be constructed, for example, of the type that the first hinge part is part of a base part or is fixed to a base part, and that the second hinge part is part of an operating part or is fixed to an actuating part.
- the base part has a cutting part with at least one cutting blade and that the base part and the actuating part are articulated by means of the joint, that the actuating part for pressing food to be shredded from an insertion position against the cutting part in a closed position and can then be pivoted from the closed position back into the insertion position.
- the drive device is designed to support or effect the pivoting movement from the closed position into the insertion position and arranged.
- the drive device may also be made for the drive device to be supported and / or brought about and arranged for the pivoting movement from the insertion position into the closed position.
- the drive means comprises at least one spring, which is tensioned during pivoting of the actuating part of the insertion position in the closed position and which relaxes in support of the pivotal movement of the actuating part from the closed position to the insertion position
- a shutdown of the drive means when especially hard food is to be shredded, for which the user needs all his power anyway. This avoids the user in addition, when applying the pivoting of the operating part of the insertion position in the closed position must apply additional energy to tension the spring.
- the drive can be switched on, however; For example, to support the pivoting of the operating part of the closed position in the insertion position or to effect independently.
- a food crusher in which the supporting force of the drive device is adjustable, for example, depending on the cuttability of the food good to choose an intermediate setting between complete shutdown and complete connection.
- a spring can be provided in an advantageous manner, which is stretched during the pivoting of the operating part of the insertion position in the closed position and relaxed in the support position for supporting the pivoting movement of the actuating part from the closed position.
- the drive means comprises at least one spring which is tensioned during pivoting of the actuating part from the closed position into the insertion position and which relaxes in support of the pivoting movement of the actuating part of the insertion position in the closed position.
- the food shredding device can in particular be designed to be set up for a shredding process on a work surface. For example, the

- Fig. 6 shows the operating part when switched on and switched off the drive device
- Fig. 7 detail views of the joints and the drive devices in the course switched and in the off state.
- Fig. 1 shows an embodiment of a
- the food reduction device has a base part 2, which forms a first hinge part.
- the food reduction device has an operating part 6, which forms a second hinge part.
- the base part 2 has a receptacle for a replaceable cutting part 3.
- the cutting part 3 includes a first cutting region 4 and a second cutting region 5, the cutting regions 4, 5 each having different cutting blade assemblies.
- the food shredder 1 further comprises an actuating part 6 which is hingedly connected to the base part 2 in such a way that it is able to press material to be shredded from the illustrated depositing position into the material to be shredded onto the cutting part 3 can be placed against the cutting part 3 in a (not shown) closed position can be pivoted, which is indicated in the figure by the curved arrow.
- the actuating part 6 has a first ram 7 and a second ram 8.
- the first ram 7 is used to food, which is placed on the first cutting portion 4 of the cutting part 3 to push through the first cutting area 4 therethrough, wherein the food is divided by the cutting blades of the first cutting area 4.
- the second ram 8 serves to press food, which is placed on the second cutting region 5 of the cutting part 3, through the second cutting region 5, the food being cut by the cutting blades of the second cutting region 5.
- the food shredding device 1 is designed as a lid, which can be placed on the vessel 9 latching and the vessel opening completely covering. After all food to be processed has been pushed through the cutting part 3, the food shredder 1 can be removed from the vessel 9, for example to empty the vessel 9.
- the base part 2 has a frame 13 which provides the receptacle for the cutting part 3.
- the base part 2 has two rod ends (shown in detail in FIG. 2), which, in cooperation with the joint receptacles of the actuating part 6, enable articulated coupling of the actuating part 6.
- the articulated connection of the actuating part 6 with the base part 2 is formed by two mirror-symmetrically constructed and mirror-symmetrically arranged joints 10.
- the joints 10 are formed as hinged joints with mutually coaxial pivot axes 1 1 and described in more detail below.
- a respective drive device 12 for supporting or effecting the pivoting movement from the closed position to the inlay position is arranged, which are likewise described in more detail below.
- FIG. 2 shows a detailed view of one of the rod ends 14 arranged on the inside of the frame 13.
- the rod end 14 is designed essentially as a pin projecting inwardly from the frame 13 with parallel conversions such that a rod end receptacle 15 of the actuating part 6, as shown in FIG can be deferred.
- the condyle receptacles 15 each have a radial opening 16, which make it possible to postpone the actuating part 2 in the insertion position on the rod ends 14.
- the width of the rod ends 14 is just chosen so that they fit through the radial openings 16 of the condyle 15, but can no longer leave the condyle 15 as soon as the actuator 2 has been pivoted from the insertion position to another pivot position. In this way it is ensured that the actuating part 2 does not accidentally come loose during the comminution process.
- the drive device 1 1 is switched on in each case in that the free end 17 of a slider 18 is inserted in a rotationally rigid manner in a recess 19 of the condyle 14. A co-rotation of the slider 18 in the coupled position is prevented by the fact that the free end 17 of the slider 18 and the recess 19 out of round, cuboid in the present example, are formed. To turn off the drive device 1 1, the slider 18 is again pulled out of the recess 19.
- the recess 19 and the hinge heads 14 also have radial openings 20, which make it possible to the free ends 17 of the slider 18 perpendicular to the pivot axes 1 1 to be able to pull out the recesses 19.
- Figures 4a and 4b both show a joint 10, which is formed from a joint head receptacle 15 of an operating part 6 and a joint head 14 of a base part 3, and illustrate the principle of switching on and off of the helical spring 24 designed as a drive device.
- the hinge 10 makes it possible for the actuating part 6 to pivot relative to the base part 2 about a pivot axis 1 1.
- a linear guide 21 is provided, in which a slider 18 designed as a coupling element 23 along the pivot axis 1 1 is guided linearly displaceable.
- the coil spring 24 surrounds the pivot axis 1 1, the linear guide 21 and the slide 18 concentrically.
- a first end 25 of the coil spring 24 is designed as a leg and fixed to the actuating part 6.
- the other end 26 of the coil spring 24 is bent at an angle and guided in a longitudinal slot 22 of the slider 18 linearly displaceable.
- the free end 17 of the slider 18 is non-circular, namely cuboid and engages in the coupling position, as shown in Figure 4a, a form-fitting manner in a rectangular recess 19 of the joint head 15 a.
- the helical spring is tensioned when the actuating part 6 is pivoted relative to the base part 2, for example, when transferring from the insertion position to the closed position.
- the coil spring 24 relaxes and thus causes or supports the opposite pivotal movement, for example, from the closed position to the insertion position.
- Figure 5 illustrates the principle of switching on and off of the coil spring 24 having drive means 12 in a perspective view. It can be clearly seen that the left drive device is switched off, because the free end 17 of the slider 18 is pulled out of the recess 19.
- Figures 6a and 6b respectively show an actuating part 6 and illustrate the position of the free ends 17 of the slide 18.
- the free end 17 is in a retracted position in which it is not in a recess of the base part 2 engages. In this position, the drive device is switched off.
- the free end 17 is in an advanced position, in which it engages in a recess of the base part 2. In this position, the drive device is switched on.
