Description

The present invention relates to a luminaire according to the preamble of claim 1, which has a housing which defines a light exit opening, wherein light sources are arranged in the housing. In particular, with the help of the lamp according to the invention, the artificial light output to be adapted to the natural daylight in a particularly elegant manner or complement the natural daylight.

Daylight-dependent lighting controls have long been known in particular when illuminating larger buildings or building complexes. Controlling the artificial light depending on the incident from outside daylight not only leads to a more pleasant lighting situation, which improves the so-called indoor climate, but also serves to save energy. The fact that the artificial light is switched on only when the natural daylight does not provide sufficient brightness, the energy consumption of a lighting system can be significantly reduced.

The daylight usually falls on windows in a room to be illuminated, the lights, which are responsible for the complementary artificial light, then arranged, for example, on the ceiling of the room or are arranged distributed as floor lamps within the room. A light incidence of daylight is sometimes even when in the ceiling area windows or glazed or generally translucent structures are arranged. However, the luminaires responsible for the artificial light are then in turn arranged adjacent to these translucent structures on opaque ceiling areas.

With the present invention, a luminaire is to be made available, which allows in a completely novel way a coordinated illumination of a room by both daylight and by artificial light.

The object is achieved by a luminaire having the features of claim 1. Advantageous developments of the invention are the subject of the dependent claims.

The concept according to the invention is based on the idea of additionally using the light exit opening of the luminaire, which is provided for the delivery of the artificial light, as the light exit surface for the natural daylight. That is, both types of light are emitted over the same area, resulting in a particularly harmonious combination of natural light and artificial light. This combination of the two types of light is achieved in that the housing of the lamp is also open or translucent designed on the opposite rear side of the light exit opening, so that the natural daylight, which occurs from above or from the back of the lamp, through the housing is guided and then leaves this via the light exit opening.

According to the present invention, therefore, a luminaire with a housing which defines a light exit opening and arranged in the housing bulbs proposed, according to the invention, the housing at the opposite side of the light exit opening is at least partially transparent or open and the arrangement of the lamps within the housing so is that on the back into the housing entering light can leave this through the light exit opening.

The solution according to the invention makes it possible, with the aid of such luminaires, to fill out a ceiling area of a building or a room with so-called light tiles, through which on the one hand the natural daylight can enter the room and, on the other hand, where appropriate also artificial light is emitted. The previous subdivision between windows or glass fronts, through which the daylight is incident, and separately arranged lights omitted so what leads to an interesting appearance of the room as a whole. As will be explained in more detail below, the lights can also be used for other purposes such as sound attenuation or the like due to the fact that they can occupy very large areas.

Preferably, the housing of the lamp according to the invention is like a frame and accordingly completely open to the rear. The housing is preferably rectangular, in particular square shaped, in this regard, of course, there is no restriction and other forms would be conceivable.

The lighting means are arranged according to a preferred embodiment of a plurality of elongated support members which extend substantially parallel and at a distance from each other through the housing. The can Lamp be formed in particular by LEDs. Through the spaces between the support elements with the bulbs then the daylight can pass and ultimately be delivered through the light exit opening.

The support elements for the lamps, in particular for the LEDs are preferably formed by profile parts, in particular aluminum profile parts, which are each attached with their front ends to the housing. These profile parts can be web-like and initially have a receiving area for holding LED boards. From this receiving area, a web region can then extend to the rear, which is preferably designed in the form of a heat sink, that is to say has a plurality of side arms, by means of which the surface is enlarged and thus the heat exchange to the surrounding air is optimized. In addition, the carrier elements can be used simultaneously for holding primary optics for the LEDs, these primary optics are designed to support a uniform light output of the artificial light.

Thus, even in the situation in which only daylight is emitted by the lamp, the light exit surface appears evenly bright, it is preferably provided that in the intermediate areas between the support elements additional optical elements for influencing the passing through (day) light are arranged. Also in this case, the support elements can serve the storage of these optical elements. These are formed for example by elongated plates having a structuring in the form of prisms or the like, through which a uniform distribution of daylight is achieved. As already mentioned, the primary optics for the illuminants have a comparable function, so that the light exit surface of the luminaire is brightened up as uniformly and homogeneously as possible both by the daylight and by the artificial light.

As already mentioned, the lamp according to the invention is preferably realized as a large-area light, which can then also be used for other purposes to improve the indoor climate. According to a preferred embodiment, it may be provided that the luminaire has a translucent cover in the region of the light exit opening, the cover having a frame which is covered with at least two translucent materials which are spaced apart from one another in the light emission direction. This thought is already out of the EP 2 221 528 A2 The applicant is known and is used in particular to effect a sound insulation. Furthermore, however, with the help of these materials, the light output of the lamp can be specifically influenced become. For example, it would be conceivable for the materials to have a light-scattering effect, so that an insight into the interior of the luminaire is prevented.

The sound-absorbing effect of this special cover is achieved in particular when the two translucent materials have a different sound transmission. In this case, in particular, the light-transmissive material facing the housing has a lower sound transmission, whereas the sound transmission of the more distant clothing, which ultimately forms the light-emitting surface of the luminaire, is significantly higher. In this case, the sound from the cover is no longer reflected but penetrates into the space between the two materials, with the result that the desired sound insulation is achieved. The two materials may in particular be films or fabrics.

As an embodiment of the invention, a square, generally provided with the reference numeral 100 lamp is shown in the figures. It is a luminaire, which is usually arranged below a translucent ceiling structure of a building, through which the daylight in the building or in the room to be illuminated can come up. It is provided with the help of several such lamps 100 to completely fill a larger area, so that on the arrangement thus formed both the daylight and the artificial light falling into the room. Preferably, therefore, the illustrated square shape is provided for the lamp 100, in this regard, of course, there are no restrictions. In general, however, it will be relatively large lights, for example, have an edge length of 1 m or more.

According to the lateral representation according to FIG. 2 the lamp is slightly stepped and has an upper housing part 10, on the underside of a cover 50 is additionally arranged. The cover 50 is designed slightly larger than the housing 10 in terms of their dimensions, in which case when joining several lamp 100, the covers abut each other laterally and on the housing 10 corresponding fastening means for mounting the lamp 100 can be attached.

The central idea of the luminaire 100 according to the invention is the sectional view of FIG. 3 removable. It can be seen that the housing 10 is not - as normally usual - has a back, substantially closed bottom surface on which the assembly of the various components of the lamp 100 is carried out. Instead, the housing 10 is formed like a frame and accordingly has on its rear side an almost over the entire width extending opening 11. This opening 11 could optionally be covered by a light-transmitting element, but it is preferably provided that no corresponding cover is used, but the lamp 100 is actually open to the rear. The bottom of the housing 10 defines a light exit opening 12 through which the light is emitted. In the present case, as already indicated, the light output takes place via an additional cover 50, which is arranged below the housing 10 and whose configuration will be explained in more detail below.

Within the housing 10 a plurality of bulbs are arranged, with the help of uniform artificial light over the entire surface of the lamp 100 can be dispensed away. As light-emitting means LEDs 21 are provided in the present case, which, as in FIG. 4 are arranged on elongated boards 20 are arranged. The holder of the LED boards 20 takes place with the aid of a plurality of profile parts 15, which run parallel to each other through the lamp housing 10 and attached respectively at their ends to the frame-like housing 10, for example, with a slightly raised web 13 of the housing wall are screwed. Within the housing 10, operating devices 14 are also arranged for the power supply of the lighting means.

The profile parts 15 are formed in particular by web-like aluminum profiles, which according to the representation of FIG. 4 have on their side facing the LEDs 21 a receiving area 16 for supporting the LED boards 20. From this receiving region 16 extends to the rear, so in the case of mounting upwards a web-like region 17, which has a plurality of laterally branching arms 18. As a result, the profile element 15 forms a heat sink, over which during the operation of the LEDs 21 occurring heat can be dissipated efficiently to the environment. This heat dissipation is thereby supported that, as already mentioned above, the back of the lamp 100 is preferably completely open.

Another function of the profile elements 15, which carry the bulbs 20, consists in the holder of a primary optics for the LEDs 21. This primary optics 22 consists of a plastic part made of translucent material, which is triangular or wedge-shaped in cross section. On the two side edges of the element 22 in this case elongated prisms or scattering structures 23 are formed through which a uniform distribution of the LED light is achieved. This prevents the individual LED rows from appearing as brightly lit areas when the artificial light is activated.

The fastening of the primary optics 22 to the carrier elements 15 takes place with the aid of two arms 24 provided on the rear side, which engage in corresponding guide tracks 19 on the profile part 15.

Characterized in that the support members 15 with the bulbs 20 each spaced from each other through the lamp housing 10, intermediate clearances are formed, which allow the passage of daylight. According to a particularly preferred embodiment, however, it is provided that these intermediate regions also have optical elements by means of which the emission of daylight is optimized. These are disk-shaped transparent plates 25, which in turn are held by the carrier elements 15. As FIG. 3 can be removed, these plates 15 are their edge regions 26 on the backs of the wedge-shaped regions of the primary optics 22. On its underside, the plates 22 again have an elongated groove structure 27 that is comparable to the structure of the primary optics 22. Here, too, the structure 27 serves to distribute the passing daylight more evenly and accordingly to ensure a homogeneous delivery of daylight.

Before the mode of operation of the luminaire 100 according to the invention is explained in detail with regard to the emission of daylight and artificial light, should first still the the underside of the housing 10 arranged cover 50 are explained in more detail. This is as already mentioned essentially according to one in the EP 2 221 528 A2 formed solution described. The cover in this case has a peripheral frame 51, which is fastened by means of a screw 52 on the underside of the lamp housing 10. The frame 51 serves to hold two so-called coverings 53 and 55, which are formed by films or fabric. Thus, these fabrics consist of a slightly flexible material, which allows a clamping in the frame structure 51 of the cover 50. This takes place, for example, with piping provided in the edge region of the coverings 53, 55, which can be hooked into corresponding channels of the profile frame 51.

Preferably, both coverings 53 and 55 have a light-scattering effect, so that an extremely homogeneous light output over the entire surface is achieved by means of this two-fold additional control. Furthermore, however, the clothing 53 and 55 are designed such that they additionally cause a sound insulation. This can be promoted in particular by the fact that the outer or lower clothing 55 is relatively well sound-permeable whereas the inner clothing 53 facing the housing 10 has a lower sound transmission. Accordingly, sound occurring from the outside or from the bottom onto the surface can penetrate into the intermediate space between the two coverings 53, 55, but is held captive here, so to speak, and accordingly no longer reflected back. In this way, the lamp also contributes to the improvement of the indoor climate, but where appropriate, the light exit area of the lamp 100 could also be designed otherwise.

The operation of the lamp according to the invention is in the FIGS. 5a and 5b shown. FIG. 5a Here, first shows the case that over the lamp daylight, which falls from the top of the lamp 100, is discharged. It can be seen that the rays entering via the open housing rear side are scattered by the optical elements 25, so that a uniform, homogeneous light output is achieved, which is additionally supported by the coverings 53 and 55 of the cover 50. Primarily responsible for the uniform delivery of daylight, however, are the optical elements 25. The mode of action is so good that the support elements 15 with the light sources are not or almost barely recognizable as dark stripes in the lamp.

If, on the other hand, no or only a very small proportion of daylight is available, artificial light can be emitted, as in FIG. 5b is shown. This takes place the light output primarily through the LEDs 21, with the help of the primary optics 22 again a uniform distribution of the LED light is achieved. This distribution is so efficient that now no single bright running in the longitudinal direction strips within the lamp 100 are recognizable but in turn the lower fabric 55 of the cover 50 appears uniformly bright.

Accordingly, therefore, both daylight and artificial light can actually be emitted with the luminaire 100 according to the invention, which leads to an extremely pleasant lighting situation. White light LEDs are preferably used as light sources for the artificial light. However, it would also be conceivable that possibly a small part of the LEDs also emits colored light, which is then used to give the artificial light a certain color mood.
