Description

The invention relates to a safety ski binding with a toe, which is associated with a height-adjustable support arrangement for the front part of the sole of a ski boot, wherein the support arrangement has a longitudinally displaceable in the vertical direction and simultaneously displaceable, mounted on a base plate slider whose position by means in a longitudinal direction oriented and adjustable at an acute angle to the longitudinal direction of the adjusting spindle is adjustable.

Such a ski binding is from the DE 20 2006 021 129 U1 known. This ski binding is suitable both for alpine skiing and for touring and has in its front region about an axis transverse to the longitudinal axis of the ski pivotally mounted to the top plate on which the toe and the rear heel holder are attached to hold the ski boot. The front jaw is associated with a height-adjustable support arrangement for the front region of the shoe sole of the ski boot, which has a carriage which is guided by means of lateral guide elements in lateral guide webs of the tour plate slidably. The lateral guide webs are arranged obliquely to the plane of the tour plate, so that the carriage is displaced in a longitudinal displacement in the direction of the guide webs relative to the plate in the vertical direction. The position of the carriage on the guide webs is adjustable by means of a set screw whose head is mounted axially and radially on a bearing part and the threaded portion is screwed into a nut which is held on the carriage radially and axially with wobble and height mobility. Due to the different levels of management of the carriage and the screw inevitably results in a tilting of the screw during adjustment. The wobble of the adjusting screw to compensate for this. To the entire arrangement the required To give stability, it is necessary to guide the carriage in lateral guide webs of the tour plate slidably.

Another ski binding with a height-adjustable support arrangement is from the EP 0 345 371 A1 known. The support arrangement has a base plate resting on the upper side of the ski and a step plate arranged above it, which interacts with the base plate via oblique surfaces falling or rising in the ski longitudinal direction. On the base plate a perpendicular to the ski surface extending control surface is provided, which extends at an acute angle of about 15 ° to Skiquerrichtung and to which a complementary trained control surface of a control slide, which is arranged in Skiquerrichtung adjustable on the tread plate and by a self-locking adjustment , which is accessible from the ski side, is actuated. The self-locking adjusting device is designed as a threaded rod, so that by a rotation of the threaded rod in one or the other direction of the spool is moved either up or down. In this case, the control surfaces, which are provided on the tread plate and the base plate, slide relative to each other, which has the consequence of the inclination of these surfaces result in that the base plate is moved either forward or backward relative to the ski. Due to the displacement of the base plate to the front or to the rear, the inclined surfaces on the tread plate and the base plate move relative to each other, which has a corresponding height adjustment of the tread plate result. This known support arrangement has a very elaborate and therefore also prone to failure actuating mechanism for adjusting the altitude of the tread plate. From the EP 0 595 170 A1 a sole support plate for a ski binding is known, which has a base plate for resting on the ski and a support plate for supporting a ski boot. The base plate and the support plate are elastically connected to one another in the region of one of their longitudinal edges. In order to provide at least a second defined altitude for the support of the ski boot sole, an insert is provided, which can be inserted either in the longitudinal direction of the sole support plate in the region of a stop of the base plate or in this region of the base plate transversely to Sole support plate is rotatably arranged. This known support arrangement does not allow continuous adjustment of the altitude.

The invention has for its object to provide a simplified in structure support arrangement available, the adjustment of a comfortable, reliable operation has a high stability, the slide should be performed in a convenient and simple manner to the base plate.

The object is achieved according to the invention in that the adjusting spindle is rotatably supported on the base plate, is operatively connected to the slider and is connected via a universal joint with a adjusting bolt, which runs at an obtuse angle to the adjusting spindle and is also rotatably supported on the base plate.

In the support arrangement according to the invention, the adjusting spindle is held on the base plate such that only the rotational movement required for the adjustment of the position of the slider is possible. The adjusting spindle is actuated by means of the adjusting bolt, i. set in rotational movement, wherein the adjusting bolt is arranged on the base plate such that only a rotational movement is possible. The adjustment bolt connected to the adjusting spindle by means of the universal joint therefore permits rotation of the adjusting spindle for height adjustment of the slide, without the adjusting spindle having to be actuated directly. The adjustment mechanism is therefore very stable executable with a simple structure.

The simple construction and the stable design of the support arrangement are particularly supported when the slide on the adjusting spindle, preferably directly, axially guided or axially adjustable.

Particularly compact and expedient is the structure of the support arrangement, when the slide is guided only centrally on the base plate.

For central guidance can engage in a particularly functional embodiment of the invention, the slider by means of at least one provided on its underside central guide element in a recess, opening or the like of the base plate. The adjusting spindle is expediently guided axially in at least one of these guide elements and thus effects a height adjustment of the slide during a rotational movement.

In order to give the slider at a higher load by the ski boot a good tilt stability, additional support ramps may be provided on the base plate, on which the slider is supportable. These support ramps advantageously run at that angle to the ski upper side under which the adjustment spindle extends to the ski top side or to the ski longitudinal direction. On the slider complementary executed support surfaces may be formed by means of which the slider is supported on the support ramps. As an alternative measure, other measures for mutual support may be provided instead of support ramps or support surfaces on the respective components, for example projections and the like.

The adjusting spindle and the adjusting bolt are preferably arranged or mounted on the base plate such that the angle they enclose with one another is between 140 ° and 175 °. This measure facilitates the operation of the adjusting bolt for adjusting the adjusting spindle.

Terms used in the following description, such as "front", "rear", "rear", "vertical", "horizontal" and the like, refer to the positions of the respective components in the illustrations and to a ski binding mounted on the ski for the downhill.

A ski binding made in accordance with the invention can be designed either exclusively as an alpine downhill ski binding or as a ski binding which is suitable both for alpine downhill runs and for touring. The ski binding shown in the figures is a ski binding of the second type.

The figures show the front jaw 1 of the ski binding, which has a heel holder, not shown, as a second binding part, wherein both the toe 1 and the heel holder are arranged on a touring plate 2, which is lockable in its rear region in a detachable manner with the ski 1a, so that the tour plate 2 can be released for touring. The tour plate 2 is, as is known, rotatably mounted in the region of the front jaw 1 about a transverse axis 3, which in the embodiment shown in the figures, a skifest arranged bearing part 4 and the front portion of the tour plate 2, which forms a base plate 5, passes through , On the base plate 5, the components of the front jaw 1 are arranged, to which at least one, in the illustrated embodiment, two, sole holder 6 and provided for safety release of the sole holder 6 parts of a trigger mechanism belong. In the base plate 5, the adjusting mechanism 7 is mounted on a, arranged in the base plate 5, vertically adjustable support assembly 8. The adjustable support assembly 8, which will be described in more detail below, allows the change in the distance between the sole holders 6 and the support surface for the front end portion of the shoe sole and thus the adjustment of the toe 1 to different thickness ski boot soles, for optimal mount alpine ski boots or touring ski boots to ensure in the ski binding.

The support assembly 8 has a slide 9 which is centrally displaceable on the base plate 5 in the longitudinal direction and at the same time in the vertical direction. On the upper side of the slide 9, a slide plate 10 is deflected on both sides against spring force and stored in a conventional manner. For this purpose, the slider 9, as for example Fig. 1 shows, extending below projections extending transversely to the longitudinal direction of the guide grooves 11, in which the sliding plate 10 is inserted by means of lateral guide lugs 12. At the bottom of the slide 9 is locally a guide element 13 (FIG. Fig. 4 . Fig. 6 ), in particular integrally formed with the slide 9, which is interspersed by a provided at an acute angle α, the ski top side of particular 10 ° to 45 ° and provided with an internal thread bore 14 which is oriented in the ski longitudinal direction. In the illustrated embodiment, the inclination of the bore 14 through the angle α such that the angle α opens in the direction of the heel holder, not shown, so that in an adjustment of the support assembly 8 for adjusting the front jaw 1 to thinner ski boot soles of the slider 9 in the direction Heel holder is moved. In the bore 14 of the guide member 13, an adjusting spindle 15 is screwed, the two ends are held in the base plate 5. The one end is seated, for example, in a retaining groove 17 (FIG. Fig. 4 ), which is formed on a provided on the underside of the base plate 5 web 16, the other end passes through, for example, a formed on the base plate 5 wall element 18. The arrangement of the adjusting spindle 15 on the base plate 5 is such that, although a rotation of the adjusting spindle 15th , but no other movements of Adjusting spindle 15 are possible. By rotating the adjusting spindle 15, the slider 9 is moved in the vertical direction and at the same time in the ski longitudinal direction.

A universal joint 19 connects the front end of the adjusting spindle 15 with an adjusting bolt 20, which with the adjusting spindle 15 has an obtuse angle β (FIG. Fig. 7 ), which is 140 ° to 175 °. The second free end of the adjusting bolt 20 protrudes on the base plate 5 frontally outward and is provided with a screw head 22 (FIG. Fig. 4 ), in which, for example, a Phillips screwdriver can be used to enable the adjusting pin 20 and thus on the universal joint 19, the adjusting spindle 15 in rotary motion. The adjusting bolt 20 is also held on the base plate 5 so that only a rotational movement of the adjusting bolt 20 is possible. For this purpose, a portion of the adjusting bolt 20 may be positioned in a bore or groove 21 of the base plate accordingly.

The guide element 13 of the slide 9 is located in a central, extending on the base plate 5 in the longitudinal direction of the recess or opening 23 and is supported on the opening 23 delimiting support surfaces 23a. In addition, the slide 9 has on its underside in front of the guide element 13 and also in the center a further guide element 24 (FIG. Fig. 8 ), which rests against lateral support surfaces 25a of a further opening 25 of the base plate 5. The slide 9 is guided centrally by these measures on the base plate 5.

For a higher tilt stability of the slider 9 when loaded by the ski boot, it is advantageous to additionally support ramps 26, 27 on the base plate 5 (FIGS. Fig. 7 ) to provide, on which the slide 9 can be supported under load. In this case, outer support ramps 26 and / or inner support ramps 27 may be provided, which are oriented, for example, in the longitudinal direction and inclined at the angle α, in particular narrow surfaces on which the slide 9 by means of correspondingly opposite executed support surfaces 28 and 29 (FIGS. Fig. 5 ) is supportable. Instead of flat support ramps 26, 27 and / or support surfaces 28, 29 can on the base plate 5 and the slider 9 also Support projections or the like may be formed. The number of these support projections must be matched to the intended adjustment range.

The individual components of the support arrangement 8 and the base plate 5 can also be designed and arranged such that an adjustment of the slider 9 for adaptation of the front jaw to thinner ski boot soles has a movement of the slider 9 in the ski longitudinal direction in the direction of the front jaw 1 result.

In a downhill ski binding, in which yes no tour plate is provided, the base plate 5 may be performed either as part of the housing of the front jaw or as a separate, to be connected to the toe or the ski part.
