Definitions
- the invention relates to a device for coarse and fine cleaning of wire surfaces, which allows a versatile further processing for a variety of applications.
- the previously common practice in known methods of freeing rolled steel wire of scale, such as by mechanical cleaning - grinding, peeling, blasting, kinking and brushing - as well as by dry cleaning, is particularly the lack of that high quality for the Further processing is possible only by a huge effort.
- surface damage or a changed structure of the wire is not excluded.
- Practice-proven solutions are already known, with which a considerable degree of cleaning and refinement of the surface is achieved.
- So is in the DE 102 24 603 B4 describes a device for cleaning and polishing wire surfaces with steel wool, where the steel wool is held within the device in chambers and is pressed by means of transmission elements on the wire passing through the device.
- the entire device consists of a cleaning and polishing head, which is rigidly connected to a drive unit and a mechanical power transmission unit.
- the device is housed in a housing where it is mounted on both sides, so that the device rotates in operation around the wire to be cleaned and polished.
- the device described here for cleaning and polishing wire surfaces and for improving the quality of the wire for further processing is constructed as a rotor whose housing is made of two lateral round end plates, in which at the same distance end plates connecting rectangular hollow profiles are firmly embedded.
- the cleaning heads move in a plane on the wire to be processed so that in each case a central cleaning head presses on one side of the wire to be processed, while the two outer cleaning heads exert pressure on the opposite side.
- a disadvantage of the known and already proven in practice solutions is the high structural and thus technological effort, which has an effect on the resulting manufacturing costs.
- the invention has thus set itself the task of providing a cost-effective device for cleaning wire surfaces, which at the same time produces a very smooth wire surface, is gentle on material, d. H. the plastic properties of the wire largely receives, as well as the environment little burdened.
- the device is after Fig. 1 housed in a machine housing 1 so that it is either fixed or rotates about the wire to be cleaned 2, wherein the number of wires is adjustable.
- receiving boxes 4 are arranged for cleaning brushes 5.
- two opposite receiving boxes 4 with cleaning brushes 5 form a cleaning level.
- the wire 2 is released analogously to other mechanical processes by means of sheet metal rollers before entering the device parts of the skin.
- the resulting very good cleaning effect in the device according to the invention eliminates the otherwise necessary strong bending process with the metal rolls.
- the wire 2 need only be slightly bent, so that the wire 2 is only insignificantly solidified by bending, and so much less loses its deformability compared to other methods.
- Fig. 2 is recognizable from the cut, as in a, as a detail Rotor body 3 shown, fixed recessed box 4, a cleaning brush 5, by means of a spring 7, is pressed onto the wire rod 2. About a lockable receiving box cover 8, which also serves as a stop for the spring 7, a rapid replacement of the cleaning brushes 5 is given after wear of the brush material 9 used.
- the brush material 9 consists for example of very hard, bundled steel fibers which are cast with the cylindrical upper part 10 of the cleaning brush 5 by synthetic resin and thus guarantee a long life.
- Fig. 3 shows a cleaning unit, consisting of two receiving boxes 4 with cleaning brushes 5, which offset by 180 degrees on the wire to be cleaned 2.
- the cleaning units 11 are inserted in the wire running direction at equal intervals and offset by 60 degrees in the rotor body 3.

Description
The invention has thus set itself the task of providing a cost-effective device for cleaning wire surfaces, which at the same time produces a very smooth wire surface, is gentle on material, d. H. the plastic properties of the wire largely receives, as well as the environment little burdened.
The object is achieved by the features of claim 1 and the
