Definitions

  • the invention relates to a refrigeration device having a water-carrying line system, which has a connection for connection to a house-side water supply system. Furthermore, the invention relates to such a monitoring device for installation in such a refrigeration device and a monitoring device housing for such a monitoring device.
  • Refrigeration appliances in particular designed as household appliances refrigerators are known and are used to housekeeping in households or in the catering sector to store perishable food and / or drinks at certain temperatures.
  • Such refrigerators additionally have an ice cube maker and / or a water dispenser, which is supplied with drinking water via a connection to a home-side water supply system in order to produce ice cubes / cooled water and then to provide them.
  • a water leak in the water-bearing pipe system of such an ice cube maker can cause a leakage of leakage water and thus water damage.
  • WO 2006/097838 is a refrigeration device known in the engine room to prevent such water damage a water leakage detection device and a collecting tray are provided for leakage water.
  • the present invention is based on the recognition that the reliability can be increased by a monitoring device and thus the risk of water damage as a result of water leaks can be significantly reduced.
  • a refrigeration appliance is understood in particular to be a household appliance, that is to say a refrigeration appliance that is used for household purposes in households or in the gastronomy sector, and in particular serves to provide foods and / or drinks in particular Store temperatures such as.
  • the water leakage detecting means detects whether leakage water accumulates in a sump or a sump.
  • the water leak detection device monitors e.g. the pressure prevailing in the power system of the refrigerator water pressure. A water leak is then detected by a drop in water pressure.
  • the technical advantage is achieved that a permanent monitoring of the line system of the refrigerator is possible and an unwanted leakage of water in the case of water leakage is immediately countered.
  • the water leakage detection device is arranged in the engine room of the refrigeration device. Thereby, the technical advantage is achieved that the water leakage detection device itself does not take up any space outside of the refrigerator. Thus, such a refrigerator can be installed accurately in a furniture niche.
  • the water leakage detection device is fastened by positive engagement on a support rail arranged in the machine room.
  • the technical advantage is achieved that no additional fasteners are needed or need to be mounted. This simplifies the production and reduces the logistics effort, since no such fasteners must be stored.
  • the water leakage detecting means may also be applied to other parts of the refrigerating appliance, such as e.g. Side walls of the refrigeration device housing to be attached.
  • the monitoring device has a monitoring device housing with a collecting tray for leakage water. Parts of the monitoring device or the entire monitoring device may be arranged in the monitoring device housing. As a result, the technical advantage is achieved that collects leakage water in the drip pan and does not escape from the refrigerator. Due to the fact that the collecting trough is assigned to the monitoring device housing, in particular the monitoring device housing and the collecting trough are integrally formed, the assembly is simplified.
  • the monitoring device is connected to a water shut-off valve, and upon detection of water leakage, the monitoring device transfers the water shut-off valve from an open to a blocking state.
  • the technical advantage is achieved that upon detecting a water leakage, a water supply from the home-side water supply system is stopped by blocking the water stop valve.
  • the water leakage detection device is arranged at the lowest point of the line system. Thereby, the technical advantage is achieved that leaked due to water leakage leak water that collects by gravity at the lowest point, can be detected with simple means, such as a float switch.
  • the monitoring device housing has a receiving space for the water leakage detection device.
  • the monitoring device housing has a hose holder.
  • the monitoring device housing is formed in two parts into an upper housing half and a lower housing half. This achieves the technical advantage that the monitoring device housing is particularly easy to manufacture, e.g. by plastic injection molding.
  • the upper half of the housing and the lower half of the housing are interconnected by a latching connection. This will be the technical advantage achieved that no additional fasteners are needed or need to be mounted. This simplifies the production and reduces the logistics effort, since no such fasteners must be stored.

  • the fastening element is pivotable about an axis between the first position and the second position, which extends along a longitudinal extent of the support rail.
  • the support rail runs with its main extension direction for a substantially horizontal, i. substantially perpendicular to the perpendicular direction when the refrigerator is in its operating position.
  • the mounting rail runs between the side walls of the cooling device so that the main extension direction of the mounting rail extends substantially perpendicular to the depth direction of the cooling device.
  • a refrigeration device is provided with increased reliability, since in the event of water leakage in the water-carrying pipe system, a water stop valve automatically interrupts another water supply.
