Claims (15)

  1. Protection apparatus (46) for one or more plug-in connectors (10), wherein the plug-in connector (10) in each case has a plug (12), a base (14) and also a protective cap (16) for the plug (12), wherein the plug (12) has a housing (18) with a collar (20) which runs around the housing (18), wherein the protective cap (16) is fixedly connected to the plug housing at the collar (20), wherein the protection apparatus (46) has at least one first half-cap (48) and one second half-cap (50), and the half-caps (48, 50) have connecting means (78, 80) for releasable connection to one another, and the protection apparatus (46) has closing means (66) which, when the half-caps (48, 50) are connected, move one or more moving parts (40) of one or more locking apparatuses of the plug-in connector or connectors (10) to be protected from an unlocked position to a locked position in which the plug (12) is firmly held in the base (14),
    characterized in that
    the half-caps (48, 50) have one or more openings (56) with seals (82) on their top side (54), wherein openings (56) with the seals (82) are configured in such a way as to surround in an interlocking manner one or more plug housings (18) or protective caps (16) of the plug or plugs (12) of the plug-in connector or connectors (10) to be protected in the connected state of the half-caps (48, 50), wherein the half-caps (48, 50) have guides (58) on their top side (54) in the region of the openings (56), so that the half-caps (48, 50), during connection, can be guided in a collar (19, 20) of the plug housing (18) or of the protective cap (16) of the plug (12) or in collars (19, 20) of the plug housings (18) or of the protective caps (16) of the plugs (12) in the connecting direction (52) transverse in relation to the insertion direction (44) of the plug (12) and the base (14) and, in the connected state, can be fixedly connected to the plug housing or housings (18) or the protective cap or caps (16) in at least the vertical direction in relation to the connecting direction (52).
  2. Protection apparatus according to Claim 1,
    characterized in that
    the closing means (66) are configured in such a way as to push one or more locking slides (40) of the locking apparatus or of the locking apparatuses of the plug-in connector or connectors (10) to be protected from an unlocked position to a locked position when the half-caps (48, 50) are connected.
  3. Protection apparatus according to Claim 1 or 2,
    characterized in that
    the closing means (66) are configured in such a way as to move one or more moving parts (40) of the locking apparatus or of the locking apparatuses of the plug-in connector or connectors (10) to be protected from a locked position to an unlocked position when the connection of the half-caps (48, 50) is released.
  4. Protection apparatus according to Claim 3,
    characterized in that
    the closing means (66) are configured in such a way as to pull one or more locking slides (40) of the locking apparatus or of the locking apparatuses of the plug-in connector or connectors (10) to be protected from a locked position to an unlocked position when the connection of the half-caps (48, 50) is released.
  5. Protection apparatus according to one of the preceding claims,
    characterized in that
    the connected half-caps (48, 50) are configured in such a way as to accommodate one or more plug-in connectors (10) and the moving part or parts (40) of the locking apparatus or of the locking apparatuses of the plug-in connector or connectors (10) to be protected in the interior (72) of the connected half-caps (48, 50).
  6. Protection apparatus according to one of the preceding claims,
    characterized in that
    the half-caps (48, 50) have, in the connected state, an opening (62) with seals (96) on their bottom side (60), wherein the seal (96) is configured in such a way as to surround one or more base housings (36) of one or more bases (14) of the plug-in connector or connectors (10) to be protected or a region in which the base housing or housings (36) are arranged.
  7. Protection apparatus according to Claim 6,
    characterized in that
    the half-caps (48, 50) have guides (64) on their bottom side (60) in the region of the opening (62), so that the half-caps (48, 50), during connection, can be guided in a collar (34) of the base housing (36) or in collars (34) of the base housings (36) in the connecting direction (52) and, in the connected state, can be fixedly connected to the base or bases (14) in at least the vertical direction in relation to the connecting direction (52).
  8. Protection apparatus according to one of the preceding claims,
    characterized in that
    the half-caps (48, 50) are manufactured from plastic, and the half-caps (48, 50) have straight faces and also reinforcements on the opposite outer sides in the connecting direction (52) of the first half-cap (48) to the second half-cap (50).
  9. Protection apparatus according to one of the preceding claims,
    characterized in that
    the connecting means (78, 80) are configured in such a way that an established connection of the half-caps (48, 50) can be released again only using a special tool.
  10. Protection apparatus according to one of the preceding claims,
    characterized in that
    the connecting means (78, 80) comprise latching hooks (78), which can latch one into the other, on one or both of the half-caps (48, 50) and latching lugs (80) or latching grooves on the other or both of the half-caps (48, 50).
  11. Protection apparatus according to one of the preceding claims,
    characterized in that
    the protection apparatus (46) has a cover cap (83) which is connected in an articulated manner to one of the half-caps (48, 50), and the cover cap (83) and the other half-cap (50) which is not connected in an articulated manner to the cover cap (83) have further releasable connecting means (84, 86) for connecting the cover cap (83) and the other half-cap (50).
  12. Protection apparatus according to Claim 11,
    characterized in that
    the further connecting means (84, 86) comprise latching hooks (84) and latching lugs (84) or latching grooves which can latch one into the other.
  13. Protection apparatus according to Claim 11 or 12,
    characterized in that
    the cover cap (83) and the other half-cap (50) have, in the connected state, one or more openings (92) for receiving at least one corrugated pipe (24), and the opening (92) or the openings (92) have latching lugs or latching grooves (94) for fixedly connecting the corrugated pipe or pipes (24), in the connected state of the cover cap (93) and the other half-cap (50), to the protection apparatus (46).
  14. Protection apparatus according to Claim 13,
    characterized in that
    one or more recesses are provided in the region of the opening (92) or of the openings (92) of the cover cap (93) and the other half-cap (50) in the connected state in order to make possible connection of a plurality of electrical lines (30), which run in the or in each of the corrugated pipes (24), using cable ties.
  15. Use of a protection apparatus (46) for one or more plug-in connectors (10) according to one of Claims 1 to 14, for moving one or more moving parts (40) of one or more locking apparatuses of the plug-in connector or connectors (10) to be protected from an unlocked position to a locked position and/or from a locked position to an unlocked position by connecting the half-caps (48, 50) and/or releasing the half-caps (48, 50) of the protection apparatus (46).
