Claims (11)
- A knife with a blade carrier (18) on which a blade (13) is mounted, wherein the blade carrier (18) is mounted so as to be movable by means of a handle (12) between a safety position, in which the blade (13) is arranged in the housing (11), and a cutting position, in which the blade (13) protrudes from the housing (11), wherein a blade change is possible when the housing (11) is arranged relative to the handle (12) in an open position and wherein the knife (10) has at least one safety device (S), by means of which a movement into the cutting position and/or into the open position is preventable, wherein the safety device (S) has an operating mechanism (15), which is connected in terms of movement to a lock element (16), characterised in that the operating mechanism (15) is movable at least into a first position, in which the lock element (16) is arranged in the movement path of the handle such that the lock element (16) locks a movement into the open position and is movable into a second position in which the lock element (16) is arranged in the movement path of the handle such that the lock element (16) locks a movement into the cutting position.
- The knife according to claim 1, characterised in that the operating mechanism (15) and/or the lock element (16) is/are arranged in at least one position of the safety device in a snap fit (25, 26, 27).
- The knife according to any one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the movement of the blade carrier (18) into the cutting position is indirectly preventable by way of a releasable locking mechanism of the handle (12).
- The knife according to any one of the preceding claims, characterised in that a movement into the open position is also locked in the second position of the safety device.
- The knife according to any one of the preceding claims, characterised in that a movement into the open position is possible in a third position of the safety device (S).
- The knife according to claim 5, characterised in that a movement into the cutting position is locked in the third position of the safety device (S).
- The knife according to any one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the operating mechanism (15) is designed as a slider which is mounted so as to be displaceable at least between the first position and the second position.
- The knife according to any one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the operating mechanism (15) is mounted on the housing (11).
- The knife according to any one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the handle (12) comprises a recess (24) and in that the lock element (16) can dip into the recess (24) of the handle (12) in the first position of the safety device when the handle (12) is moved from an initial position into an active position.
- The knife according to any one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the locking mechanism is formed by at least one impact surface (23, 28, 29) of the handle (12) or of the housing.
- The knife according to any one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the lock element (16) is arranged between opposing locking surfaces in the second position of the safety device (S).
