Description

The invention relates to a washing, cleaning or pretreatment agent comprising two nonionic surfactants. The invention also relates to the use of such a washing, cleaning or pretreatment agent and two nonionic surfactants in a washing, cleaning or pretreatment agent.

Increasingly, delicate textiles, such as silk or microfiber, are processed into garments that can only be washed at 30 or 40 ° C. Furthermore, energy-saving washing at low wash temperatures is the trend. However, the performance of detergents on fatty soils decreases with decreasing wash temperatures. Pretreatment of greasy soils is considered troublesome by many consumers.

To increase the cleaning performance is for example in the WO 2011/117079 A1 the use of liquid, hydrophobic compounds in combination with unsaturated fatty acid (soap) n proposed. The US Pat. No. 6,472,361 B1 describes liquid cleaning compositions containing C 9-11 alkanols ethoxylated with 2 to 3 EO units and C 8-18 alkanols ethoxylated with 7 to 8.5 EO units. These compositions show good cleaning performance on greasy soils. However, there is still a need to improve the cleaning performance of detergents, cleaning or pretreatment agents, especially on soils containing grease.

An object of this invention was therefore to provide a washing, cleaning or pretreatment agent with increased detergency, especially on soils containing grease.

This object is achieved by a washing, cleaning or pretreatment agent comprising
  1. (a) 1 to 60% by weight of a first nonionic surfactant of the formula

    RO- [EO] x - [PO] y -H

    in which
    • R = a branched hydrocarbon radical having 8 to 14 carbon atoms,
    • EO = -CH 2 CH 2 O-,
    • PO = -CHCH 3 CH 2 O-,
    • x = 1, 2 or 3 and
    • y = 1,
  2. (b) 1 to 60% by weight of a second nonionic surfactant of the formula

    RO- [EO] x - [PO] y -H

    • where R = an unbranched and / or branched hydrocarbon radical having 8 to 18 Carbon atoms,
    • EO = -CH 2 CH 2 O-,
    • PO = -CHCH 3 CH 2 O-,
    • x = 5, 6, 7, 8 or 9 and
    • y = 0 or 1 and
  3. (c) optionally, other common ingredients of detergents, cleaning or pretreatment agents.

Surprisingly, it has been shown that the combination of two particular nonionic, alkoxylated surfactants, wherein the first surfactant has a lower degree of alkoxylation than the second surfactant, the cleaning performance of a washing, cleaning or pretreatment agent, in particular on fat-containing contaminants, can be increased , Another advantage is that the increased cleaning performance already at low washing temperatures, for example at 20 ° C, occurs.

In a particularly preferred embodiment, the hydrocarbon radical is branched in the 2-position.

It has also been found that the cleaning performance by using a first surfactant in which R is a 2-position ethyl branched hydrocarbon radical having a total of 8 carbon atoms, x = 3 and y = 1.

It is further preferred that in the second nonionic surfactant R is an unbranched hydrocarbon radical having 12 to 18 carbon atoms, x = 7 or 8 and y = 0. These nonionic surfactants are commercially available, inexpensive and have a good cleaning performance.

It has been found that at a ratio of first nonionic surfactant to second nonionic surfactant in the range of 1: 1 to 1: 4, the greatest increase in cleaning performance can be achieved.

Ferner kann es aus anwendungstechnischen und/oder ästhetischen Gesichtspunkten bevorzugt sein, dass die Wasch-, Reinigungs- oder Vorbehandlungsmittel weitere übliche Inhaltsstoffe von Wasch-, Reinigungs- oder Vorbehandlungsmitteln enthalten, welche ausgewählt sind aus der Gruppe bestehend aus anionischen Tensiden, kationischen Tensiden, zwitterionischen Tensiden, Gerüststoffen, Bleichmitteln, Bleichkatalysatoren, Bleichaktivatoren, Enzymen, Elektrolyten, nichtwässrigen Lösungsmitteln, pH-Stellmitteln, Parfümzusammensetzungen, Parfümträgern, Fluoreszenzmitteln, Farbstoffen, Hydrotopen, Schauminhibitoren, Silikonölen, Soil-Release-Polymeren, Vergrauungsinhibitoren, Einlaufverhinderern, Knitterschutzmitteln, Farbübertragungsinhibitoren, antimikrobiellen Wirkstoffen, Germiziden, Fungiziden, Antioxidantien, Konservierungsmitteln, Korrosionsinhibitoren, Antistatika, Bittermitteln, Bügelhilfsmitteln, Phobier- und Imprägniermitteln, Quell- und Schiebefestmitteln, weichmachenden Komponenten, hautpflegenden Mitteln, UV-Absorber, Waschkraft-verstärkenden Polymere ("Booster-Polymere") und Mischungen daraus.Furthermore, it may be preferred from the point of view of application technology and / or aesthetics that the washing, cleaning or pretreatment agents comprise further customary ingredients of washing, cleaning or pretreatment agents which are selected from the group consisting of anionic surfactants, cationic surfactants, zwitterionic Surfactants, builders, bleaches, bleach catalysts, bleach activators, enzymes, electrolytes, non-aqueous solvents, pH adjusters, perfume compositions, perfume carriers, fluorescers, dyes, hydrotopes, foam inhibitors, silicone oils, soil release polymers, grayness inhibitors, anti-shrinkage agents, wrinkle inhibitors, dye transfer inhibitors, antimicrobial Active ingredients, germicides, fungicides, antioxidants, preservatives, corrosion inhibitors, antistatic agents, bittering agents, ironing auxiliaries, repellents and impregnating agents, swelling and anti-slip agents, softening co components, skin care agents, UV absorbers, detergency-enhancing polymers ("booster polymers") and mixtures thereof.

The invention also relates to the use of a washing, cleaning or pretreatment agent according to the invention in the washing, cleaning and / or pretreatment of textile fabrics.

Pretreatment agents. Preference is given in particular to using primary alcohols having 8 to 18 carbon atoms and, on average, 5 to 9 moles of ethylene oxide (EO) per mole of alcohol, in which the alcohol radical may be methyl linear or branched in the 2-position or may contain linear and methyl-branched radicals in the mixture , as they are usually present in Oxoalkoholresten. In particular, however, alcohol ethoxylates having linear radicals of alcohols of native origin having 12 to 18 carbon atoms, for example coconut, palm, tallow or oleyl alcohol, and on average 5 to 8 EO per mole of alcohol are preferred. The preferred ethoxylated alcohols include, for example, C 12-14 alcohols with 7 EO, C 9-11 alcohols with 7 EO, C 13-15 alcohols with 5 EO, 7 EO or 8 EO, C 12-18 -alcohols 5 EO, 7 EO or 8 EO and mixtures of these. The degrees of ethoxylation given represent statistical means which, for a particular product, may be an integer or a fractional number. Preferred alcohol ethoxylates have a narrow homolog distribution (narrow range ethoxylates, NRE). Also suitable are also a mixture of a (more) branched ethoxylated fatty alcohol and an unbranched ethoxylated fatty alcohol, such as a mixture of a C 16-18 fatty alcohol with 7 EO and 2-propylheptanol with 7 EO. Particularly preferably, the washing, cleaning or pretreatment agent contains a C 12-18 fatty alcohol with 7 EO or a C 13-15 oxo alcohol with 7 EO as the second nonionic surfactant. In the first case, for the second nonionic surfactant, R is an unbranched hydrocarbon radical of 12 to 18 carbon atoms, x = 7 and y = 0. For the second nonionic surfactant C 13-15 -oxo-alcohol with 7 EO, R is a hydrocarbon radical having 13 to 15 carbon atoms, x = 7 and y = 0.

Various greasy soils with a diameter of approx. 2 cm each were applied to 6 50% / 50% polycotton cloths.

Tabelle 2: Remission: dY-Wert Fleckart Fleck nach Behandlung mit E1 Hamburger Grease 1,4 Schweineschmalz (blau gefärbt) 4,2 Make Up Sans Soucis 6,2 Stau b-Hautfett/ÖI 6,1 Subsequently, a household washing machine (Miele W 526) was loaded with 3.5 kg accompanying laundry and the soiled cloth rags. In addition, 80 g of the detergent to be tested (E1 or V1) were added and washed at 20 ° C. After hanging drying and shortage of the cloth rags, their remission was determined spectrophotometrically (Minolta CR200-1) (see Table 2). The stain removal was evaluated by the dY value (Y value of the E1-treated spot minus the Y value of the V1-treated spot). Table 2: Remission: dY value Kind of stains Spot after treatment with E1 Hamburger grease 1.4 Lard (colored blue) 4.2 Make Up Sans Soucis 6.2 Jam b-skin fat / oil 6.1

The results show that by adding the first nonionic surfactants, detergents having an improved cleaning performance on greasy stains are obtained.

In another washing experiment, the sum of the remission units was determined on 92 different spots (58 fat-containing spots, 16 bleach-sensitive spots and 18 enzyme-sensitive spots). For this purpose, again a household washing machine (Miele W 526) with 3.5 kg accompanying laundry and the correspondingly contaminated cloth rags (in addition 80 g of the detergent to be tested (E1 or V1 to V3) were added and washed at 20 ° C. After hanging drying and remainders of the cloth rags, their remission was determined spectrophotometrically (Minolta CR200-1) (see above) .It was shown that the sum of the remission units for detergent E1 was around 70 units, as for detergent V1 Replacement of the second nonionic surfactant by one of the first nonionic surfactants, the cleaning performance of the detergents drops significantly, for example, the sum of the remission units for detergent V2 is 115 units and for detergent V3 is 169 units lower than for detergent V1.
