Abstract

The invention relates to a domestic appliance such as a washing machine, a tumble dryer (1) or a washer dryer with a housing (2), with a revision flap (6) which is arranged in an opening (5) in a housing wall (3), and with a on the housing wall (3) arranged hinge block (20) for pivotally mounting the access door (6). Description

The invention relates to a domestic appliance such as a washing machine, a tumble dryer or a washer dryer with a housing, with a revision flap, which is arranged in an opening in a housing wall, and with a arranged on the housing wall hinge block comprising a hinge part and a clamping part for pivotally mounting the inspection flap.

Such a tumble dryer is from the WO 2012/089771 A1 known. The tumble dryer has a hinge block with a hinge part and a clamping part for the pivotable mounting of a revision flap on a housing wall. Clamping part and hinge part form one piece the hinge block and fix this form and locks on the housing wall.

From the DE 10 2008 016 815 A1 For example, it is known to use a depth filter block for filtering dust in a laundry dryer in the flow channel for the process air stream. For maintenance, the filter block is accessible via an access flap in the housing, here in the front wall, and an opening arranged behind it in the flow channel.

In a T9769WP tumble dryer manufactured and sold by the Applicant, an access door is pivotally mounted to an opening in the front wall. For pivotal mounting of the hinge arms on the inspection flap, a hinge block is provided which receives in specially provided holes pin on the hinge arms. For attachment, the hinge block is mounted in the upper area via a further pin and in the lower area by means of a screw on the front wall. The pin engages in a recess which is placed in a fold of the upper edge of the inspection opening. For this purpose, a certain depth of the front wall is required, which is not always desired. In addition, a screw fastening always causes an increased installation effort.

The invention thus raises the problem of achieving a simple and space-saving attachment of the hinge block in a household appliance of the type mentioned.

According to the invention, this problem is solved by a household appliance having the features of patent claim 1. Advantageous embodiments and further developments of the invention will become apparent from the following subclaims.

The achievable with the present invention advantages are achieved in that the housing wall is folded twice in an edge region and so forms a U-shaped receptacle for the hinge block and that the hinge part for holding the inspection flap is positively fixed in this receptacle and that the clamping part of the hinge part fixed positively and non-positively. As a result, the assembly is considerably simplified, also requires the inventively constructed hinge block a smaller space.

A further simplification of the assembly and a good support of the hinge part is achieved if at least one positioning aid for the hinge part is arranged in the housing wall. As a result, the insertion of the hinge part is facilitated for the fitter.

In a particularly advantageous embodiment, the clamping part is pushed in the finished assembled state of the hinge block between the hinge part and a fold of the housing wall. Through this simple insertion process, the entire hinge block is held securely in its mounted position. In this case, the clamping part may be held in the assembled state by means of a first latching device on the housing wall, for example, by at least one first latching hook engages in at least one opening in the housing wall. An automatic mounting of the hinge block is achieved in that the clamping part fixed when inserting between the hinge part and the fold of the housing wall, the hinge part with a second locking device. This can be achieved in that the clamping part slides during insertion between the hinge part and the fold of the housing wall with at least one second latching hook on at least one slope of the hinge part. It is expedient if the slope is formed ribbed.

It is also advantageous if at least the latching hooks are resilient.

The FIG. 1 shows in perspective the housing 2 of a clothes dryer 1. In the front 3 of the housing 2 is a door 4, which covers an unrecognizable feed opening. Below, an inspection opening 5 is arranged in the front wall, which is covered by a revision flap 6. The inspection flap 6 is pivotally mounted on the front wall by means of a hinge block 20 shown in the following figures.

FIG. 2 shows the two components of this hinge block 20, namely a hinge member 30 and a clamping member 40, also the rear view of a section of the front wall 3 and the access door 6, also in the rear view. The hinge part 30 takes over the function of the pivotable mounting of the access door 6. For this purpose, two hinge arms 7 are formed on the access door 6, which each carry pins 8. The pins 8 are received in holes 21 in the hinge part 30, which more clearly in the FIG. 3 are recognizable. The second part of the hinge block 20, the clamping part 40, serves for the positive and non-positive fixing of the hinge part 30 on the front wall 3.
