Beispielhaft sind für eines der Seitenprofile 7, 8, nämlich für das rillenseitig angeordnete Seitenprofil 8, Knickriefen 15 dargestellt, die hier aus keilförmig zur Schiene 2 hin verlaufenden Schlitzen im Seitenprofil 8 gebildet sind. Ein jeweils an den Unterseiten des Schienenkopfes 3 anliegender Bereich der Seitenprofile 7, 8 weist Kanäle 17 auf, so dass die Seitenprofile 7, 8 in diesem Bereich etwas verdickt und besonders nachgiebig sind. Die Seitenprofile 7, 8 weisen eine vergleichsweise geringe Dicke auf und kleiden schienenseitig den Randbereich der Schienenkammern 18, 19 aus. Unmittelbar unter dem Schienenfuß 5 ist ein Unterguss 9 aus einer elastisch aushärtenden Polyurethanmasse vorgesehen. Zwei überstehende Bereiche 11, 12 des Untergusses 9 umgreifen die Seitenprofile 7, 8 im Bereich des Fußrandes 6 von außen, so dass sich Unterguss 9 und die Endbereiche der Seitenprofile 7, 8 in einem Überlappungsbereich 14 überlappen. Die Höhe des Fußrandes 6 ist hier mit H bezeichnet. Die Bereiche 11, 12 des Untergusses 9 überragen die von der Unterseite 13 des Schienenfußes 5 gebildete Ebene hier um etwa die halbe Höhe H, so dass hier auch der Überlappungsbereich 14 eine Strecke mit der Länge von etwa der halben Höhe H umfasst. Auf diese Weise ist die Schiene 2 bis auf die nach oben, d.h. vom Untergrund 16 weg, weisenden Flächen des Schienenkopfes 3, z.B. der Lauffläche, vollständig von einer dämpfenden und/oder elektrisch isolierenden Schicht umgeben. Figur 2 zeigt schematisch, wie eine erfindungsgemäße Dämpfungsanordnung 1 hergestellt werden kann.
