Bei den bekannten Zangen zur Montage einer Federbandschelle ist mitunter aufgrund einer großen Öffnungsweite des Zangenmauls eine große Öffnung der Zangenschenkel im Griffbereich gegeben. Auch sind im Hinblick auf die gewünschte große Öffnungsweite des Zangenmauls keine günstigen Hebelverhältnisse erreichbar.Pliers of this type have already become known in many different ways. Die US 7313984 B1 beschreibt eine nach dem Bowdenzug-Prinzip betätigbare Halterung von Federbandschellen. Aus der US 2009/ 0064823 A1 ist vergleichbar der US '975 A eine Zange mit in einem feststehenden Gelenk verbundenen Zangenschenkeln bekannt, bei welcher durch eine Rasteinstellung eine Zangenmaulweite feststellbar ist. Aus der DE 4440210 A1 ist eine Zange zur Halterung von Federbandschellen bekannt, bei welcher eine Zangenmaulweite, bei in einem festen Gelenk verbundenen verschwenkbaren Zangenhebeln, einstellbar ist. Die EP 1829647 A2 , DE 202005013501 U1 und DE 102007049032 A1 offenbaren Zangen, die zur Veränderung der Größe des Zangenmauls in einem Kreuzungsbereich der Zangenschenkel stufenweise zueinander verstellbar sind, wobei zudem ein Zangenschenkel einen Verstellschlitz mit einer Verzahnung aufweist, der sich in Längsrichtung des Zangenschenkels erstreckt und der andere Zangenschenkel mit einem Gelenkbolzen, der den Verstellschlitz durchsetzt, ausgebildet ist, wobei auch der Gelenkbolzen im Ruhezustand in Verzahnungseingriff mit der Verzahnung ist. Claims (5)

  1. Pliers (1) having two pliers legs (2, 3) and a pliers mouth (M) formed by jaws (7, 8), wherein crown-like rotatable or stationary holding elements (9) are arranged in the pliers mouth (M) relative to a jaw (7, 8) for gripping ends of a spring band clamp (11), wherein the stationary holding elements (9, 10) have a central recess (16) and three or more tip regions (17) which are distributed on the circumference of said central recess, and the pliers legs (2, 3) are connected to one another in an intersection region (4), wherein the pliers legs (2, 3) are adjustable relative to one another in a stepwise manner in the intersection region (4) in order to change the size of the pliers mouth (M), one of the pliers legs (2) has an adjustment slot (13) which is provided at least on one of its inner longitudinal sides with a toothing (12) and which extends in the longitudinal direction of the pliers leg (2), the other pliers leg (3) is formed in the intersection region (4) so as to have a receptacle (14) for a hinge pin (15) and the hinge pin (15) is in toothed engagement with the toothing (12) when at rest, wherein the mouth width, based on a distance of the hinge pin (15) from the upper stationary jaw (7), is fixed, but the jaws (7 and 8) can still be pivoted relative to one another by pivoting the pliers leg (3) relative to the pliers leg (2).
  2. Pliers according to claim 1, characterised in that a rotatable holding element (9, 10) is formed having a central recess (16) and three or more tip regions (17) which are distributed on the circumference of said central recess.
  3. Pliers according to either of the preceding claims, characterised in that the holding elements (9, 10) are identical to one another.
  4. Pliers according to either of the preceding claims, claim 2 or claim 3, characterised in that four tip regions are formed (17).
  5. Pliers according to any of the preceding claims, characterised in that a closed position of the pliers mouth (M) can be locked.
