Wird demgegenüber der Zangenschenkel 2 aus der in Figur 7 dargestellten Position in die in Figur 8 dargestellte Position relativ zum Festschenkel 3 überführt, so werden die diametral gegenüberliegend an dem Verbindungsbolzen 15 angeordneten plattenförmigen Elemente 21 derart angeordnet, dass sie in Längsachsenrichtung der Öffnung 10 verlaufen, wobei die Breite der plattenförmigen Elemente 21 geringer ist, als der Abstand der Spitzen der Zähne der beiden gegenüberliegend angeordneten Verzahnungen 11. Claims (4)

  1. Plier with a movable plier leg (2) forming a movable jaw (6) and a fixed leg (3) forming a fixed jaw (5), the fixed leg (3) being connected to the movable plier leg (2) via a connecting bolt (15) so as to be pivotable to a limited extent, and the connecting bolt (15) passing through an opening (10) in the fixed leg (3), wherein the connecting bolt (15) is displaceable along the opening (10) for setting a jaw width between the movable jaw (6) and the fixed jaw (5), wherein the connecting bolt (15) is displaceable in its longitudinal axis relative to the movable plier leg (2) and to the fixed jaw (3) between an end position blocking a sliding movement of the fixed jaw (3) towards the movable jaw (2) and an end position releasing the sliding movement, wherein the connecting bolt (15) is designed to be lockable in the end position releasing the sliding movement,
