Abstract

Die Zwischenwand (40) zur Abdichtung des Rückraums des Verdichterrades (71) eines Radialverdichters bezüglich eines von einem Lagergehäuse (30) umschlossenen Lagerraums weist einen umlaufenden, rotationssymmetrisch geformten Befestigungsflansch (41) auf, welcher zur Befestigung der Zwischenwand an dem benachbarten Lagergehäuse vorgesehen ist und welcher eine plane Kontaktfläche zur Auflage auf einer Kontaktfläche des Lagergehäuses aufweist. Dabei sind in den Befestigungsflansch mehrere Bohrungen (42, 43) auf einer virtuellen Kreislinie eingelassen, wobei die Bohrungen mindestens einen Sperrluftkanal (42) sowie mehrere, in Umfangsrichtung auf der virtuellen Kreislinie verteilt angeordnete Bohrungen (43) zur Aufnahme von Befestigungsmitteln (50) umfassen.
Die Zwischenwand ist erfindungsgemäss als eine rotationssymmetrische Scheibe ausgebildet, welche in der Herstellung durch das Bearbeitungsverfahren Drehen und ohne weitere Fräsbearbeitung in ihre endgültige Form gebracht werden kann. Für die Sperrluftdurchführung ist lediglich ein Bohrer notwendig, welcher ebenfalls für das Anbohren der Bohrungen zur Aufnahme der Befestigungsmittel verwendet werden kann. Dadurch kann der Herstellungsprozess gegenüber einer herkömmlichen Zwischenwand vereinfacht werden.
