Description

The present invention relates to the technical field of electrical hand-held apparatuses used for drying and / or shaping hair by means in particular of a hot air flow or by contact heat application such as electric hair dryers. blowing brushes, or smoothing or curling irons used by individuals and / or professionals. In a preferred but not exclusive application the invention relates to the field of hair shaping accessories used with blower electric hairdressing appliances.

When drying and / or shaping a hair, it may be necessary to apply mechanical stress to the locks of hair at the same time as drying them. This operation generally requires the simultaneous use, on the one hand, a hand accessory or the fingers of one hand and, on the other hand, a hairdryer. The fingers, from the hand that does not hold the hair dryer, are used to separate the hair and take off the roots while the hairdryer allows to apply heat to the work area of the free hand. However, when this operation is performed by a single person on his hair, it requires a certain dexterity and requires a certain time.

In order to facilitate this type of hair treatment, a patent EP 1,527,710 has proposed a hairdressing accessory that can be adapted to the output of a hair dryer. This hairdressing accessory comprises a hollow body provided with a connecting end at the outlet of the blowing apparatus and an air outlet end and shaping. The output end is then associated with a diffusion grid which carries rows of solid teeth substantially parallel to each other and to a direction of air blowing at the outlet.

Such an accessory effectively separates the hair during drying. However, this accessory does not allow an optimal volume of hair and does not promote a detachment of the hair root to inflate the hair. Thus, it has emerged the need for a hairdressing accessory that is likely to be associated with a blowing hairdressing apparatus and that allows a quick and effective manner "detachment" of the hair root or shaping the part of hair in the immediate vicinity of the scalp so that the user can easily and quickly make a hairstyle requiring "inflated" hair.

The document US 4376441 also discloses a hair accessory for shaping hair.

In order to achieve this object the invention relates to an accessory for shaping hair according to claim 1.

The use of hollow teeth with lateral openings allows the drying air to be well diffused within the hair mass supported by the hairdressing accessory while the air coming from the mouth is distributed along the length of the hair. from the mass of hair to the tips. In addition, the lateral openings of the teeth make it possible to diffuse the drying air as close as possible to the roots and to take them off. Thus, the hairdressing accessory according to the invention makes it possible to obtain a hairstyle of "blow-dry" type.

According to an embodiment aiming at ensuring a good diffusion of air in the mass of hair being treated by the hairdressing accessory, each hollow tooth comprises at least two lateral openings located on two opposite faces of the hollow tooth.

According to a variant of this embodiment, each face provided with a lateral opening is substantially orthogonal to a longitudinal plane of the comb.

According to another variant of this embodiment, each lateral opening is located opposite the lateral opening of the adjacent tooth. Thus, the air flows from the windows opposite meet, creating turbulence favorable to the setting of hair volumes.

In order to increase the efficiency of the shaping and according to a characteristic of the invention, at least some of the teeth of the comb comprise electric heating means.

Still in order to increase the efficiency of the shaping and according to another characteristic of the invention, at least some of the teeth of the comb comprise means for applying a cosmetic product.

In the same sense and according to yet another feature of the invention, at least some teeth of the comb comprise bristles of brushes.

According to one embodiment of the invention, the outlet mouth has an elongated shape and extends parallel to the comb.

According to a variant of this embodiment, the outlet mouth is located between the comb and the connecting end of the accessory.

According to a characteristic of the invention, the value of the passage section of the outlet mouth is greater than or equal to the sum of the passage sections of the lateral openings of all the hollow teeth of the comb.

According to a feature of the invention to increase the efficiency of the volume setting provided by the teeth, at least some teeth comprise vibrating means. The vibrating means may be made in any appropriate manner and for example comprise a helix integral with the tooth to be vibrated. The propeller is rotatably connected to an eccentric flyweight so that when the propeller is rotated by the air flow, the rotation of the flyweight vibrates the tooth of which the helix-flyweight assembly is integral. According to a variant of the invention, the hairdressing accessory also comprises at least one rotating brush.

According to one characteristic of this variant, the rotary brush is rotatable on itself along an axis Δ 'parallel to the comb.

According to another characteristic of this variant, the hairdressing accessory comprises at least one rotating brush interposed between two teeth of the comb. The axis of rotation of the rotating brush may be substantially parallel to the main axis of the tooth.

According to another characteristic, the accessory may comprise a secondary row of teeth heated by conduction by a heating element and parallel to the main row.

According to another characteristic, the accessory may comprise a secondary row of clamping teeth parallel to the main row. An accessory for shaping the hair according to the invention, as illustrated in Figures 1 to 3 and designated as a whole by the reference 1, is intended to be adapted at the output S of a hairdryer SC schematized in phantom. According to this example, the hair dryer SC has a general pistol shape with an elongated body C having a longitudinal axis L and provided with a lateral handle P. Of course, the hair dryer SC could have another shape, such as for example, a cylindrical form of revolution without a handle.

The hairdressing accessory 1 comprises a hollow body 2 intended to channel the flow of air, generated by the hairdryer SC from a connecting end 3 to an outlet end 4.

The connecting end 3 defines an inlet section E of substantially circular general shape corresponding to the shape of the output S of the hair dryer SC. In order to allow the hollow body 2 to be adapted to the hair dryer SC, the connecting end 3 has, according to the illustrated example, a male conformation intended to be releasably fitted into a complementary female shape provided by the S output of the SC hairdryer.

The outlet end 4 comprises a mouth 5 through which at least a portion of the pulsed air is discharged by the hair dryer SC. The mouth 5 has, as shown in figure 4 a generally elongate shape extending along a longitudinal axis Δ substantially perpendicular to the longitudinal axis L and normal to the inlet section of the connecting end 3.

The hollow body 2 defines a chamber 6 for distributing air from the hair dryer SC. In the example shown, the distribution chamber 6 and the outlet end 4 are shaped so that the outgoing air flow, through the mouth 5, is not parallel to the direction L of the air flow at the level of the S outlet of the hair dryer. Thus, the air flow generated by the hair dryer SC has, at the outlet S, a direction substantially parallel to the longitudinal axis L while the air flow exiting the hair accessory 1 has a direction D forming an angle α with the longitudinal axis L. It should be noted that the longitudinal axis L coincides with the normal of the inlet section of the connecting end 3 when the hair accessory 1 is adapted on the hair dryer SC. In order to confer good ergonomics on the use of the hair dryer assembly SC / hairdressing accessory 1, the angle α is substantially 90 °.

In order to allow the realization of a hairstyle of "blow-dry" type with volume of the hair, the hairdressing accessory 1 comprises at its output end 4 a comb 10 comprising, according to the illustrated example, five teeth 11 substantially parallel to the direction D. Thus, the angle formed by the direction D of the teeth 11 of the comb 10 and the normal to the input section of the connecting end 3, corresponds to the angle α. In addition, according to the illustrated example, the comb 10 and, more particularly the alignment of the teeth 11, extends parallel to the longitudinal axis Δ of the mouth 5. The comb 10 and the mouth 5 are adjacent to each other. ie located side by side. In addition, according to the illustrated example, the mouth 5 is located between the comb 10 and the connecting end 3.

In order to allow an effective volume reduction, the comb 10 is adapted to ensure diffusion of the pulsed air by the hair dryer inside the hair mass supported by the hair accessory 1. At this Indeed, at least some of the teeth 11 of the comb 10 are hollow. According to the illustrated example, the five teeth 11 are hollow. As shown in figure 5 each hollow tooth 11 has at its base an inlet 12 for air coming from the distribution chamber 6. Each hollow tooth 11 has in addition to at least one and, according to the illustrated example, two lateral openings 13 situated between the base 12 and a distal end 14 of said hollow tooth 11. The two lateral openings 13 are, in the present case, situated on two opposite faces 15 of the hollow tooth 11. Each of these faces 15 is substantially orthogonal to a longitudinal plane of the comb 10 through which the teeth of the comb pass. Each lateral opening 13 is further arranged so as to be located opposite the lateral opening 13 of the adjacent tooth.

According to the illustrated example, each hollow tooth 11 also comprises an internal deflector 16 which directs air from the distribution chamber 6 to the two openings 13 of said tooth 11.

When using the assembly formed by the hairdressing accessory 1 and the hairdryer SC, the air pulsed by the latter out through the mouth 5 and the side openings 13. The air from the mouth 5 sweeps the entire mass of hair or the treated wick towards the tips while the air exiting the lateral openings 13 is diffused inside the treated wick thus contributing to its volume and the detachment of the roots when the comb 10 is placed against the scalp.

According to the illustrated example, the value of the passage section of the outlet mouth 5 is greater than or equal to the sum of the passage sections of the lateral openings 13 of the set of hollow teeth 11. Thus the speed of the air flow outgoing through the side openings 13 is greater than the speed of the air flow out through the mouth 5. This feature of the invention contributes to the efficiency of the volume adjustment provided by the side openings 13.

In order to increase the efficiency of the shaping provided by the comb 10, at least some teeth 11 of the comb 10 may comprise, as shown in FIG. figure 6 , means 20 for electric heating. According to this example, each of the teeth 11 comprises an electrical resistance 20 placed on its internal face. Each tooth 11 is then made of a thermally conductive material such for example an aluminum alloy whose outer surface will be covered with a low coefficient of friction material.

According to the example of the figure 6 the outer teeth of the comb further comprise bristles 21.

According to an alternative embodiment of the invention, more particularly illustrated in the figure 7 , the hairdressing accessory 1 comprises a rotary brush 25 which is rotatable on itself along a longitudinal axis Δ 'parallel to the comb 10. The rotary brush 25 extends substantially over the entire length of the comb 10 while being supported by two lateral flanges 26 which are each integral with a tooth 11 of the comb 10.

The figure 8 illustrates yet another alternative embodiment in which the hairstyle accessory 1 comprises one or more rotating brushes 27 which are each interposed between two teeth 11 of the comb 10.

According to another embodiment of the invention, at least some of the teeth of the comb comprise vibrating means 30 as shown in FIG. figure 9 . According to this example, each tooth 11 comprises at its base a peripheral flange 31 which is engaged in a complementary housing 32 of the body 2. The housing 32 and the corresponding peripheral flange 31 are then adapted to ensure a floating mounting of the tooth and give it an ability to move so that it can vibrate or oscillate on itself.

The vibrating means 30 comprises a blade 33, a proximal end 34 located near the inlet 12 is rigidly connected to the corresponding tooth while its opposite end 35 is free. This free end 35 then carries a flyweight 36. The blade 33 extends in the direction of the length of the corresponding tooth so that it is in the flow of air inside the tooth. Thus, under the effect of this flow the blade 33 vibrates and vibrates the tooth.

According to the illustrated example figure 9 both teeth 11 comprise cosmetic application means 37 formed here by pads soaked with a cosmetic product. The cosmetic application means could be formed in various other ways, for example in the form of diffusion nozzles of a cosmetic product under pressure.

Moreover, it should be noted that if, according to the examples described above, the comb 10 comprises five teeth 11, it could comprise more or less of them.

Of course, various other modifications may be made to the hairdressing accessory according to the invention within the scope of the appended claims.

Claims (13)

1. Hairstyling accessory for styling hair, which is to be fitted onto an air outlet of a blower appliance for styling or drying hair, said accessory including a hollow body provided with a connecting end (3) for connecting to the outlet of the blower appliance, and an air outlet and styling end (4), which is combined with at least one comb (10) for guiding the hair, said comb consisting of teeth (11) that are substantially parallel to a direction D, and wherein the direction D of the teeth (11) of the comb (10) forms an angle α substantially equal to 90° with the normal to the inlet section of the connecting end of the hairstyling accessory,

   - the comb (10) includes hollow teeth (11), each of which comprises:

   -- at the base (12) thereof, an inlet for the air from the connecting end (3),

   -- between the base (12) thereof and a distal end (14), at least one lateral air outlet (13),

   characterised in that the outlet end (4) includes an air vent (5) adjacent to the comb (10), said air vent having an elongated shape and extending parallel to the comb (10) such that the air from the vent (5) flows over the entire volume of hair or over the lock of hair treated towards the tips, whereas the air leaving the at least one lateral outlet (13) is diffused inside the lock of hair treated, thus contributing to the volumising thereof and to the lifting of the roots when the comb (10) is placed against the scalp.
2. Hairstyling accessory according to claim 1, characterised in that each hollow tooth (11) includes at least two lateral outlets (13) located on two opposite sides (15) of the hollow tooth (11).
3. Hairstyling accessory according to claim 2, characterised in that each side (15) fitted with a lateral outlet is substantially orthogonal to a longitudinal plane of the comb (10).
4. Hairstyling accessory according to either claim 2 or claim 3, characterised in that each lateral outlet (13) is located opposite the lateral outlet (13) of the adjacent tooth.
5. Hairstyling accessory according to any of the previous claims, characterised in that at least certain teeth (11) of the comb (10) include electric heating means (20).
6. Hairstyling accessory according to any of the previous claims, characterised in that at least certain teeth (11) of the comb (10) include means (37) for applying a cosmetic product.
7. Hairstyling accessory according to any of the previous claims, characterised in that at least certain teeth (11) of the comb (10) include bristles (21).
8. Hairstyling accessory according to claim 1, characterised in that the value of the flow area of the vent is greater than or equal to the sum of the flow areas of the lateral outlets of all of the hollow teeth (11) of the comb (10).
9. Hairstyling accessory according to any of the previous claims, characterised in that at least certain teeth (11) include vibration-inducing means (30).
10. Hairstyling accessory according to any of the previous claims, characterised in that it includes at least one rotating brush (25, 27).
11. Hairstyling accessory according to claim 10, characterised in that the rotating brush (25, 27) is capable of moving in rotation about itself along an axis Δ' parallel to the comb (10).
12. Hairstyling accessory according to either claim 10 or claim 11, characterised in that it comprises at least one rotating brush (25, 27) inserted between two teeth (11) of the comb (10).
