- Another objective of the invention is to provide a hairdressing device which is particularly effective for shaping hair, in particular for creating curls or waves or obtaining a "blow drying" effect on these. last.
- the hairdressing appliance comprises a hairdressing accessory which is movable in rotation and motorized relative to the main body.
- the hairdressing device then forms what is commonly called a rotating brush.
- the device comprises a device for moving the air, such as for example a motor-fan assembly located in the main body, which is well known to those skilled in the art.
- the accessory is then designed to eject, that is to say blow, the air generated in the main body directly in contact with the hair.
- the hairdressing device then forms what is commonly called a blowing brush.
- the device combines the two previous variants and thus comprises a hairdressing accessory which is both rotary (motorized) and blowing, the hairdressing device then forms what is commonly called a rotating blowing brush.
- a hairdressing accessory which is both rotary (motorized) and blowing
- the hairdressing device then forms what is commonly called a rotating blowing brush.
- handle we mean for example any element allowing a user to grasp and manipulate the hairdressing appliance, such as a handle for example.
- the handle can advantageously form the main body or, on the contrary, be separated from the main body, while still being connected to the latter.
- the handle is aligned with the main body. In other words, the handle and the main body both extend along the first axis.
- the hairdressing device is thus advantageously portable, that is to say it can be transported and oriented in space according to the user's wishes.
- the accessory has a revolution shape, and advantageously a cylindrical shape, which makes it possible to maximize the surface area coming into contact with the hair to shape it.
- a shape makes it easier to rotate the accessory.
- the accessory is removable, that is to say removable, that is to say that it is possible for the user to remove the accessory from the hairdressing appliance, that is that is to say to separate the accessory and the handle, for example to replace it with another accessory of a different size and/or shape.
- This allows the user to choose as they wish the hairstyle that they will create on their hair, in particular by being able to choose the diameter of the curls or waves that they will create using the accessory. This can also allow the user to choose the most suitable accessory depending on the nature of their hair.
- the accessory comprises a contact surface intended to serve as a hair winding surface and a plurality of pins (or tufts of hair) projecting from said contact surface.
- Said plurality of pins allow you to grip the hair and, advantageously combined with the rotation of the accessory, to wrap it well around the winding surface.
- the contact surface is a surface of revolution, advantageously cylindrical thus forming a mandrel on which the hair can wind automatically under the effect of the rotation of the accessory.
- the rotation drive motor of the accessory is an electric motor.
- the expression "motor” could designate a motor driven by another energy, such as for example pneumatic, magnetic or even human energy.
- flat angle defines an angle of 0° or 180°.
- the accessory in two distinct and different positions.
- said first axis and second axis form a flat angle: they are therefore either aligned (that is to say merged) or parallel.
- the accessory and the handle are either aligned (one being an extension of the other), (that is to say merged) or parallel.
- said first axis and second axis form an angle which is not flat: they are therefore neither aligned, nor merged, nor parallel.
- the accessory and the handle form an elbow, one being inclined relative to the other.
- the positions retained are either a position in which the accessory is aligned with the main body, or a position in which the accessory is inclined relative to the main body.
- the accessory is therefore orientable .
- the user can use the hairdressing device which is the subject of the invention in the first position to shape his hair located on the side of his head, in a manner known as such.
- the user can also place the accessory of the hairdressing device which is the subject of the invention in the second position to shape his hair located at the back of his head and/or on the sides. of the head.
- the ergonomics of the hairdressing device as defined by the invention is also optimized for a user who would use the hairdressing device on a third person, for example for a hairdresser who would perform a hairstyle on a client.
- the user can place the accessory in the second position to easily reach the hair located on the top of the head of the person being styled, while keeping their arm alongside the body, a position which is particularly ergonomic.
- the accessory is movable between exactly the first position and the second position, that is to say that the accessory has only two possible positions each allowing the rotation of the accessory and/or the blowing of the air. In other words, there is no intermediate position allowing the device to function properly between the first position and the second position.
- said first position and second position are stable positions and defined by design.
- the first position and the second position are pre-existing positions, defined by the designers of the device, in which the accessory is automatically held. This ensures that the user can only select the best positions of the device, those which guarantee the best ergonomics, positions which will have been carefully defined in advance by the designers of the device. This is particularly suitable for people new to hairdressing operations.
- the user cannot define said first position and second position, he can simply move the accessory between one and the other, the accessory being automatically maintained either in the first position or in the second position . This is particularly interesting for a user who does not have any particular knowledge of ergonomics or hairstyles, thus limiting the risk of error for the user.
- the stability of the accessory alternately in one or the other of said first and second positions ensures the proper maintenance of the accessory in the position chosen by the user (in this case the first or the second) , regardless of the effort applied to the accessory. This therefore avoids any accidental or unwanted movement of the accessory, particularly during hair styling operations where significant forces can be exerted on the accessory, efforts which tend to cause the accessory to move and therefore make him leave his position.
- the second axis forms an angle ⁇ different from the right angle with the first axis when the accessory is in the second position.
- said angle ⁇ is between 100° and 170°, preferably between 130° and 170° and advantageously equal to 150°.
- the designers of the device noticed that these angle ranges were particularly advantageous for optimizing the ergonomics of the hairdressing device while maintaining excellent hairdressing performance, whether for a user using the device on itself or for a user using the device on a third person, as explained previously.
- the main body comprises a joint located between and connecting the handle and the accessory.
- a joint placed between the handle and the accessory allows the user to move the accessory between the first position and the second position as desired and with complete ease.
- the joint comprises a first part integral with the handle, that is to say fixed to and fixed relative to the handle.
- the joint also includes a second movable part between said first and second positions.
- the joint can be a part in its own right, that is to say a part or a set of parts placed between the handle and the accessory, or be formed directly by the handle on the one hand and the accessory on the other hand.
- said first part then forms a first inclined side and the second part forms a second inclined side, said first inclined side and second inclined side being movable relative to each other so as to make the accessory evolve. between said first position and second position.
- the use of inclined sides to make the joint provides a robust, reliable, inexpensive and easy-to-use joint.
- the joint and in particular said second part, comprises a mobile locking device between a free position, allowing the accessory to move between said first position and second position, and a locked position blocking said accessory in one of said first position or second position (that is to say alternately in one and the other of said first and second position ), position having been chosen by the user.
- the blocking device is mounted on the movable part of the joint (the second part). The blocking device is then secured to the second axis. This allows the user to directly manipulate the moving part of the joint by the locking device, and not by the accessory, thus avoiding any risk of injury linked to direct manipulation of the accessory which may be in danger. rotation and/or hot.
- the blocking device comprises a third control device designed to be actuated by at least one finger of the user when he wishes to move the accessory from the first position to the second position or vice versa.
- the blocking device projects radially from the second part, that is to say it extends in a direction perpendicular to the second axis.
- the third control device is designed to be actuated by two fingers of the user, for example by the thumb and the index finger.
- the third control device comprises two diametrically opposed push buttons.
- the blocking device is arranged at a distance from the accessory, it is therefore distinct from the accessory, while being integral with the accessory.
- the user knows precisely where to place his fingers when he wishes to orient the accessory in relation to the handle, which discourages him from directly manipulating the accessory by rotation and/or hot, thus avoiding any risk of injury.
- the safety and ergonomics of the hairdressing device are therefore improved.
- Such a blocking device makes it possible to ensure the automatic maintenance of the accessory in one or other of said first or second positions (that is to say alternately in one and the other of said first and second position) according to the user's wishes, in a safe, reliable and inexpensive manner.
- said free position is preferably an unstable position while said locked position is a stable position. This therefore encourages the user to systematically place the accessory either in the first position or in the second position, strongly dissuading him (not to say forbidding him) from placing the accessory in another position since the blocking device will then refuse to lock. This allows the novice user to easily select the best positions for using the device. This also guarantees that the accessory is maintained either in the first position or in the second position and avoids any unwanted evolution of the accessory: in fact, positive action by the user is necessary on the blocking device to be able to move the accessory from one position to another.
- the rotation drive motor of the accessory is located inside said accessory.
- This embodiment is particularly well suited in the advantageous case where the accessory is hollow and cylindrical. This makes it possible to arrange the rotational drive motor of the accessory outside the main body, and in particular outside the handle, and therefore to reduce the size of the latter, in particular its diameter which further improves the ergonomics of the device. In addition, this allows the accessory to be rotated directly, without having to pass a transmission inside the joint.
- the hairdressing appliance comprises a device for moving air between an air inlet and an air outlet.
- the hairdressing appliance is then advantageously designed to blow air towards, and advantageously in contact with, the hair in order to ensure the drying and/or shaping of the latter.
- the main body includes the air inlet and the accessory includes the air outlet.
- the handle may comprise the air inlet.
- the path for the air flow can then be as follows: the air is sucked in by an air inlet, advantageously located at one end of the handle, passes into the main body, then into the accessory, before be evacuated through the air outlet.
- the air outlet comprises a plurality of holes (or orifices), which has the effect of uniformly diffusing the air towards the hair.
- the hairdressing appliance comprises an air heating device, advantageously arranged inside the main body, and preferably inside the handle. This then makes it possible to heat the air sucked in by the air inlet in order to blow hot air through the air outlet towards the hair. This allows the hair to be dried and/or styled particularly efficiently and quickly. This also allows the contact surface of the accessory to be heated and therefore improves the shaping of the hair.
- the hairdressing appliance which is the subject of the invention is a blowing brush, that is to say, an appliance combining the drying functions and hair brushing.
- the device illustrated is a rotating blower brush, that is to say that the device, in addition to being able to blow hot air, has a motorized rotating accessory making it possible to make curls or waves in the hair, as will be detailed later.
- the hairdressing appliance comprises a main body 1.
- this main body 1 forms a housing bringing together the main components of the hairdressing appliance.
- the main body 1 comprises an air heating device, such as a heating element for example, but also a device for moving air, such as for example an electric motor and fan (or propeller) assembly, which makes it possible to create an air flow between an air inlet 110 and an air outlet 24.
- an air heating device such as a heating element for example
- a device for moving air such as for example an electric motor and fan (or propeller) assembly
- the main body 1 also includes an air inlet 110 located at the free end of the main body 1 as can be seen in the figures.
- an air inlet is typically used on “blowing brush” type hairdressing appliances. It is therefore through this air inlet 110 that the air is sucked in by the air moving device, heated by the air heating device, then then extracted from the main body 1 by the end connected to an accessory 2, as will be detailed later.
- the air inlet 110 typically comprises a grid, advantageously removable, intended to prevent foreign bodies (such as hair for example) from being sucked in by the air movement device.
- the main body 1 can be formed of two half-shells assembled together so as to facilitate assembly, disassembly, repair or maintenance operations of the device.
- the main body 1 extends longitudinally along a first axis PP' as illustrated by the figures 6 And 7 .
- the main body extends between a free end (that is to say which is not connected to other parts) and an end intended to receive an accessory, as will be detailed by the following.
- the main body 1 has a shape of revolution around the first axis P-P', in particular a cylindrical shape. This makes it possible to combine the ergonomic and reception functions of the different components, as explained previously.
- the main body 1 comprises a handle 11 intended to be grasped by the user. Thus, it is through this handle 11 that the user can easily grasp the main body 1 and manipulate the hairdressing appliance.
- the handle 11 is part of the main body 1 and is formed by a zone of reduced diameter of the main body 1 in order to facilitate its grip by the user's hand.
- the handle 11 and the main body 1 all extend both along the first axis P-P', preferably being coaxial.
- the main body 1 comprises a first control device 111 designed to control the air moving device and the air heating device. More precisely, the first control device 111 is a sliding button with several positions, four in this case: an off position, a cold air blowing position (that is to say that the heating device of the air is not activated, only the air movement device being activated), a position corresponding to an intermediate level of heating and/or air flow (i.e. the device heating device and the air movement device are not at full power) and a position corresponding to a maximum level of heating and air flow (i.e. the heating device and the air movement device are at full power).
- an off position that is to say that the heating device of the air is not activated, only the air movement device being activated
- a position corresponding to an intermediate level of heating and/or air flow i.e. the device heating device and the air movement device are not at full power
- a position corresponding to a maximum level of heating and air flow i.e. the heating device and the air movement device are at full
- the main body 1 also includes a second control device 112 which makes it possible to control the rotation of an accessory 2, and therefore the winding of the hair, as is known as such. More precisely, the second control device 112 comprises one or more push buttons.
- the main body 1 is connected to a power cord 3 so as to provide adequate energy to the various components of the hairdressing appliance, in particular the air movement device, the air heating device or even a motor for rotating the accessory 2.
- the power cord 3 is in this case an electrical cord making it possible to supply the components with electrical energy but one could imagine other types of power cords, such as a pneumatic cord for supplying air to pneumatic components.
- the hairdressing appliance is supplied with energy by an internal source (a battery for example), so that it would then have no power cord 3.
- the hairdressing device also includes an accessory 2 intended to come in contact with the hair to shape it.
- the accessory is removable, as can be seen in the figure 7 .
- the accessory 2 comprises a contact surface 21 intended to serve as a hair winding surface. More precisely, the contact surface 21 is a surface of revolution, and in particular a cylindrical surface so as to optimize the winding of the hair on the latter. Such a contact surface 21 makes it possible to create curls or waves or even a “brushing” effect on the hair.
- the contact surface 21 is made of a material which is a good thermal conductor (such as steel or aluminum for example) in order to diffuse the heat from the air towards the hair. This helps to fix the hair shape well.
- the accessory 2 extends longitudinally along a second axis A-A', as can be seen on the figures 6 And 7 . More precisely, the accessory 2 has a form of revolution around the second axis A-A'. Accessory 2 is hollow and cylindrical.
- the accessory 2 also comprises a plurality of pins 23 projecting from said contact surface 21.
- pins we mean any type of protrusion intended to grip the hair such as for example more or less rigid plastic rods or even tufts of synthetic or natural hair (boar hair for example).
- said plurality of pins 23 is regularly distributed on the contact surface 21 in rows. Said plurality of pins 23 projects radially from the accessory. This improves the grip of the hair but also the good winding of the hair and finally the good release of the curl at the end of shaping.
- the accessory 2 also includes an air outlet 24.
- the air outlet 24 then comprises a plurality of holes or orifices as can be seen on the figures 1 to 6 . Said plurality of holes is then regularly distributed over the contact surface 21, in particular by being arranged in the form of rows between the pins 23. This makes it possible to properly diffuse the air extracted from the hairdressing appliance inside the wound hair around accessory 2, so soft and uniform.
- the diameter of each of the holes of the air outlet 24 decreases according to the direction of the air flow, that is to say decreasing from the main body 1 towards the free end of the accessory 2. This contributes to maintain a relatively constant flow of air emitted despite the increasing distance from the air inlet 110.
- the accessory 2 includes a gripping tip 22 intended to be grasped by the user when using the hairdressing appliance.
- Said gripping tip 22 is made of insulating material so as not to transmit the heat from the accessory 2 to the user's fingers.
- the gripping tip 22 can be mounted to rotate freely relative to the accessory 2 in order to remain stationary in the user's fingers despite the rotation of the accessory 2. This makes it possible to improve the comfort of use of the the device but also the precision of the styling operation.
- the gripping end 22 also allows the assembly and disassembly operations of the accessory, as is known as such.
- the hairdressing appliance also comprises a motor for driving the accessory 2 in rotation around said second axis A-A' so that the hair can be wound around said accessory 2. More precisely the motor is an electric motor, as is clearly known as such.
- the motor for driving the accessory 2 in rotation is located inside said accessory 2.
- the motor for rotating the accessory 2 is offset from the main body 1: the motor for driving it in rotation rotation the accessory 2 is located outside the main body 1.
- the hairdressing appliance comprises a first motor inside the main body 1 (the drive motor of the air moving device) and a motor inside of accessory 2 (the rotation drive motor of the latter). Ergonomics and comfort of use of the hairdressing device are therefore improved.
- the hairdressing appliance comprises an accessory support 4 which itself includes the motor to rotate the accessory 2.
- the accessory 2 is therefore arranged around the accessory support 4.
- the accessory support 4 includes a proximal part 41 connected to the main body 1.
- the proximal part 41 comprises an air guiding device 411.
- the air guiding device 411 may in particular comprise fins, as illustrated, which then contribute to straightening the air flow coming from the placing device. Movement of the air, so as to create a laminar air flow.
- the air guiding device 411 may include arches.
- the accessory support 4 comprises a distal part 42 located opposite the proximal part 41.
- the distal part 42 is a free part, that is to say it is not connected to the main body 1 as can be seen on the figures 7 Or 10 .
- the distal part 42 comprises a rotation drive device 421 of the accessory 2. More precisely, the rotation drive device 421 of the accessory 2 comprises grooves intended to correspond with a complementary receiving device located at inside the accessory 2, as is known to those skilled in the art.
- the distal part 42 also includes an assembly and holding device 422 for the accessory 2 which itself comprises, for example, a groove. The groove is then intended to correspond with a complementary assembly and holding device located inside the accessory 2 as is known to those skilled in the art.
- the assembly and holding device 422 and the complementary assembly and holding device of the accessory also allow the user to disassemble the accessory, as is known as such.
- the rotation drive motor of the accessory 2 is mounted inside the accessory support 4, the output shaft of said motor is connected to the rotation drive device 421 of the distal part 42 of the support of accessory 4, said rotation drive device 421 itself being connected to the accessory 2 so as to transmit the rotational movement of said motor to the accessory 2.
- the proximal part 41 is also connected to the motor rotational drive of the accessory 2 to the extent that the latter generally houses the electrical cables powering said motor.
- the main body 1 also includes a joint 12.
- the joint 12 is then located between the handle 11 and the accessory 2. More precisely the joint 12 is connected to the accessory support 4 and is arranged at one end of the main body 1.
- the articulation 12 also makes it possible to connect the handle 11 and the accessory 2, or more precisely the accessory support 4.
- articulation we mean any device allowing at least an angular movement between two parts connected to each other by said articulation 12, in this case, between the handle 11 and the accessory support 4, and therefore finally the accessory 2.
- the figures 8 to 12 illustrate in detail joints that can be used in a hairdressing device according to the invention.
- the articulation 12 comprises a first part 121 secured to the handle 11 as can be seen on the figures 8 And 9 .
- the first part 121 is mounted on the handle 11 and is fixed relative to the handle 11. More precisely, as can be seen on the figures 8 And 9 , the first part 121 is constituted by one end of the handle 11, in this case by the non-free end opposite the free end forming the air inlet 110.
- the first part 121 forms a first inclined section, that is to say a first part of which one face is inclined (it is neither perpendicular nor parallel) relative to the first axis P-P'.
- the articulation 12 also includes a second part 122 intended to receive the accessory 2 as can be seen on the figures 6 And 7 . More precisely, as we can see in the figures 10 And 11 , the second part 122 forms a second inclined section, that is to say a second part of which one face is inclined (it is neither perpendicular nor parallel) with respect to the second axis A-A'. Said first inclined face and second inclined face are parts of revolution, in particular cylinder portions, beveled cylinders, as illustrated. Said first inclined side and second inclined side are thus movable relative to each other so as to cause the joint 12 and therefore the accessory 2 to move between a first position and a second position.
- the first part 121 extends longitudinally along the first axis P-P' and around the first axis P-P'.
- the second part 122 extends longitudinally along the second axis A-A' and around the second axis A-A'.
- the first part 121 is connected to the handle 11, as can be seen on the figures 6 to 9 , while the second part 122 is connected to the accessory support 4, more precisely to the proximal part 41 of the latter.
- the second part 122 is connected (indirectly) to the accessory 2.
- the second part 122 comprises a rotation guide device 1223 of the accessory 2.
- the rotation guide device 1223 comprises a shoulder whose diameter corresponds to the internal diameter of a part of the accessory 2
- the rotation guidance device 1223 is thus intended to receive an open end of the accessory 2 so as to provide rotation guidance of the sliding pivot connection type. This makes it possible to guarantee good guidance during the rotation of the accessory 2 around the second axis A-A', including in the event of the presence of radial forces (the traction of the hair) while allowing axial movement according to the second axis AA' when disassembling accessory 2.
- first and second parts 121, 122 are movable relative to each other, more particularly in a plane support movement, as illustrated by the figures 8 , 9 And 12 .
- the first inclined face of the first part 121 comprises a first plane 1211 and the second inclined face of the second part 122 comprises a second plane 1221.
- the second part 122 in motion relative to the first part 121 (or reciprocally), that is to say by creating a relative movement between said first inclined side and second inclined side, the second plane 1221 will move on the first plane 1211 (or vice versa).
- first plane 1211 and second plane 1221 form portions of discs, or rings, intended to slide on top of each other.
- the first plane 1211 extends around the, and is inclined relative to the, first axis P-P', while the second plane 1221 extends around the, and is inclined relative to the, second axis AA'
- first part 121 and second part 122 are attached to each other in order to maintain the joint 12 in the form of a unitary part.
- first part 121 comprises a guiding and hooking device 1212 while the second part 122 comprises a complementary guiding and hooking device 1222.
- the guiding and hooking device 1212 comprises a circular groove.
- the complementary guiding and hooking device 1222 comprises a circular tongue, made on the second plane 1221.
- said groove receives said tongue.
- the guiding and hooking device 1212 is designed to at least partially receive the complementary guiding and hooking device 1222, which makes it possible to ensure the assembly between the first part 121 and the second part 122.
- the complementary guiding and hooking device 1222 is designed to engage in the guiding and hooking device 1212 so as to ensure blocking in translation but a degree of freedom in rotation, so as to create a pivot connection .
- the joint 12 can take at least two positions: a first position illustrated in figure 8 and a second position illustrated in Figure 9 .
- first position of the articulation 12 of the figure 8 corresponds to the first position of accessory 2 of the figure 1 or 2
- second position of the articulation 12 of the Figure 9 corresponds to the second position of the accessory of the figure 3 or 4 .
- the entire joint 12 is oriented along the first axis P-P', that is to say that the first part 121 and the second part 122 are both aligned on the first axis P-P'.
- the first inclined side and the second inclined side extend longitudinally according to le and around the first axis P-P'.
- the first plane 1211 and second plane 1221 are arranged in a staggered or “head-to-tail” pattern.
- the first part 121 of the joint 12 is oriented along the first axis P-P' and the second part 122 of the joint 12 is oriented along the second axis A-A' which forms a non-zero angle with the first axis P-P'.
- the first inclined section extends along and around the first axis P-P' while the second inclined section extends along and around the second axis A-A'.
- the first plane 1211 and second plane 1221 are not arranged staggered or “head to tail”.
- the second part 122 is therefore movable between said first and second positions.
- the only degree of freedom existing between said first part 121 and second part 122 is a rotation, and, taking into account said first plane 1211 and second plane 1221, both inclined, the articulation 12 will then leave its right position in which said first axes PP' and second axis AA' coincide ( figure 8 ) to form an elbow in which the second axis AA' forms a non-zero angle with the first axis P-P', as can be seen in Figure 9 .
- a 180° rotation of the second part 122 around the second axis AA' allows the user to move the joint 12 from the straight configuration of figure 8 to the angled configuration of Figure 9 .
- the joint 12 being connected on the one hand to the accessory 2 (via a sliding pivot connection) and on the other hand to the handle 11 (via a fixed connection), the joint 12 allows the accessory 2 to be movable between the first position and the second position, that is to say, allows the accessory 2 to be oriented either along the first axis P-P', or along the second axis A-A' , as we can see on the figures 6 And 7 notably.
- the accessory 2 can therefore, depending on the wishes of the user who will handle the device, be either in the axis of the handle 11 or bent relative to the handle 11.
- the joint 12, and more precisely the second part 122 further comprises a blocking device 123.
- the latter is then designed to block the joint 12 in the first position or in the second position, i.e. that is to say to maintain the joint 12 in one or the other of the positions, avoiding any untimely movement of the joint 12.
- the blocking device 123 is movable between two positions: a free position, allowing the accessory 2 to move between said at least first position and second position, and a locked position blocking said accessory 2 in one of said first position or second position.
- One of said first position or second position having been chosen by the user.
- THE figures 11 And 12 illustrate in detail this blocking device 123.
- the latter thus comprises a third control device 1231, in this case at least one push button, intended to be manipulated by the user of the hairdressing appliance. More precisely, the third control device 1231 is designed to be actuated by at least one finger of the user, preferably by two fingers of the user and then comprising two diametrically opposed push buttons as illustrated.
- the third control device 1231 projects radially from the second part 122. As can be seen in the different figures, the third control device 1231 comprises two diametrically opposed push buttons.
- the blocking device 123 is then designed so that it can easily be actuated by the thumb and index finger of the user's hand which is not placed on the handle 11 as can be understood from the figures 1 to 4 .
- the blocking device 123 is placed at a distance from the accessory 2, that is to say it is distinct from the accessory 2.
- the user knows precisely where to place his hands on the device: a first hand on the handle 11 in order to hold the hairdressing appliance and, occasionally, a second hand on the second part 122 of the joint 12, with at least one finger, and preferably two, on the third control device 1231 when he wishes to orient the accessory 2. This will therefore dissuade him from directly manipulating the accessory 2 which could present a risk of injury to the user's hand (because of rotation and/or heat of the accessory).
- the blocking device 123 also comprises at least one lug 1232 (or hook), and preferably two according to the illustrated embodiment, in the shape of an L, connected to the third control device 1231.
- a lug 1232 is connected to each of the two push buttons.
- Each lug 1232 extends from the third control device 1231 in the same direction as the complementary guiding and hooking device 1222, that is to say towards the inside of the articulation 12, or even towards the second axis A-A', as can be seen on the Figure 12 .
- a first branch of the L is attached to the third control device 1231 and extends perpendicularly in the direction of the second axis A-A', therefore radially, while the other branch of the L is free and extends parallel to the second axis A-A', therefore axially.
- each lug 1232 is driven by a radial translation movement, that is to say perpendicular to the second axis A-A', when the third control device 1231, in this case the push button, is actuated by the user.
- the blocking device 123 also comprises at least one, and preferably two, as illustrated, notch(s) 1233 each made in the first part 121 of the joint 12. Said notches 1233 are diametrically opposed as can be seen on there Figure 12 so as to correspond to the location of the push buttons, more precisely the lugs 1232, of the third control device 1231. Each of said notches 1233 is then designed to alternately receive one or the other of the lugs 1232, more precisely the branch free of the L, when the user will rotate the second part 122 by 180° relative to the first part around the axis AA'
- Each lug 1232 - notch 1233 couple will then prevent relative rotation between the first part 121 and second part 122, thus ensuring the maintaining the joint 12 in position, whatever the force exerted on the accessory 2.
- each lug 1232 By operating the third control device 1231, that is to say by pressing the diametrically opposite push buttons with the thumb and index finger, the user will move each lug 1232 in radial translation towards the second axis A-A' , which makes it possible to release each of the lugs 1232 from each of the notches 1233. More precisely, as can be seen in the Figure 12 , the free branch of the L of each lug 1232 leaves each notch 1233 and finds itself in a circular groove 1234. It is then possible to rotate the articulation 12 so as to move it from the first position to the second position or vice versa . Said circular groove 1234 will then guide said lug 1232 during the rotation of the first part 121 relative to the second part 122.
- each lug 1232 is found again facing a notch 1233 (but not the same) and can leave the circular groove 1234 to return to its place inside the notch 1233 so as to lock the articulation 12, as can be understood with the Figure 12 .
- the blocking device 123 also includes an elastic return device, a spring for example (not illustrated), in the locked position.
- the free position is an unstable position while the locked position is a stable position.
- the elastic return device ensures automatic blocking of the joint 12 in one or other of the first or second positions as soon as each lug 1232 arrives in front of each notch 1233, that is to say as soon as the joint 12 arrives in one or the other of the first or second position, that is to say as soon as the accessory 2 arrives in one or the other of the first or second position.
- Each lug 1232 is in fact forced, by the elastic return device, to leave the circular groove 1234 as soon as it faces a notch 1233.
- a spring can be placed under each push button so as to keep it in the “extended” position, that is to say so as to force each lug 1232 to penetrate into each notch 1233 as soon as they face each other.
- a semi-circular spring wire placed between the two push buttons so as to exert a force which tends to separate said push buttons from each other, that is to say, that is to say to push them away from each other, and therefore finally to arrange them in a stable position.
- the elastic return device generally tends to impart a radial force towards the outside (i.e. to move away from the second axis A-A') of the blocking device 123, and more precisely push buttons and therefore lugs 1232.
- the joint 12 comprises an air channel 124 designed to allow the air flow to pass from the air inlet 110 to the air outlet 24, the air being set in motion by the setting device. air movement, as explained previously. More precisely, the air channel 124 is delimited by a tube 1241. Furthermore, the air channel 124 comprises a plurality of walls 1242, arranged radially inside the tube 1241. Said plurality of walls 1242 thus forms different channels which allow the air flow to be properly directed, in particular in a longitudinal direction. The walls 1242 make it possible in particular to reduce, or even eliminate, the rotating or swirling component of the air flow leaving the air movement device.
- the accessory support 4 is oriented along the second axis A-A', that is to say it forms an angle with respect to the main body 1.
- each of the first and second positions allows the rotation of the accessory 2 by the motor driving the rotation of the accessory arranged at the inside the accessory holder 4.
- the joint 12 is designed to be movable between exactly two positions: the first position or the second position. Consequently, the accessory 2 is movable between exactly the first position and the second position.
- the accessory 2 is designed to operate normally, that is to say be able to be rotated by the accessory drive motor and/or blow air, only in these two positions. This makes it possible to limit the number of scenarios for using the hairdressing device, which simplifies the use of the device for the user while providing an ergonomic device. This also limits the costs of designing and manufacturing the hairdressing device.
- Said first position and second position are stable positions defined by design, which prevents the user from placing the accessory 2 in an inappropriate position (in fact, there is no possible blocking in an intermediate position) and simplifies its handling of the hairdressing device, while limiting the costs of designing and manufacturing the device.
- the accessory 2 could evolve between three, four, five or a plurality of different positions, each of them allowing the rotation of the accessory 2 around the second axis AA' and/or air blowing by the accessory.
- accessory 2 could move between, not different predefined positions, but an infinity of positions, that is to say that accessory 2 could operate in any position. This will for example be possible with a flexible joint, including for example a cardan joint.
- the second axis AA' forms an angle ⁇ different from the right angle with the first axis PP' when the accessory 2 is in the second position. More precisely, the angle ⁇ is equal to 150° as can be seen in the Figure 7 . This is the angle formed between the main body 1, or the handle 11, and the accessory support 4, or the accessory 2 itself, but also between the first part 121 and the second part 122 of the joint 12. It was in fact determined that this value made it possible to offer very ergonomic use for the user while maintaining very good hairdressing performance, in particular for the user who would use the hairdressing device on himself. hairstyle (user doing their hair alone) and who would like to style the back of their head and/or possibly the sides of their head. However, it was also determined that an angle ⁇ of between 130° and 170° or even between 100° and 170° made it possible to obtain ergonomic use for the user.

The present invention relates in particular to the field of hairdressing appliances comprising a rotating accessory and/or blowing preferentially hot air.
More precisely, the invention relates to the technical field of hairdressing appliances comprising a main body comprising a handle extending longitudinally along a first axis, an accessory intended to come into contact with the hair to shape the latter, said accessory 'extending longitudinally along a second axis, a motor for driving the accessory in rotation around said second axis so that the hair can be wound around said accessory and/or a device for setting the air in motion making it possible to create a air flow between an air inlet and an air outlet, the main body comprising the air inlet at a free end and the accessory comprising the air outlet.
This type of device is commonly called a rotating brush and/or blower.
This type of device gives excellent results in shaping hair and is therefore well appreciated by users. However, this type of device can sometimes present some difficulties when using it, particularly when the device is used by a single person who is looking to do their own hair.
Indeed, when the user wishes to shape the hair located at the back of his head, he must perform a complex movement with his arm, his forearm and his wrist, to correctly position the device behind his head. head. The movement in question, then holding the device in position, can then prove delicate, non-intuitive and above all uncomfortable.
Indeed, in order to position the prior art hairdressing device correctly behind his head, the user must raise his arm to shoulder level, extend it towards the side, while completely bending his elbow to bring his forearm and his hand behind his head. Finally, the user must generally bend their wrist to orient the accessory of the hairdressing device in the correct position in relation to their hair.
This sometimes results in a position for using known devices that is complex, uncomfortable, tiring or even painful or even sometimes impossible to perform for people suffering from joint or muscular disorders. The physical effort required to use existing devices, particularly on the back of the head, can therefore be significant or even painful.
There is therefore a need to improve existing devices, particularly in terms of their ergonomics, safety and comfort of use.
The present invention aims to overcome the aforementioned drawbacks.
An objective of the invention is to provide a hairdressing device which is particularly ergonomic to use, whatever the area of the head to be styled.
Another objective of the invention is to propose a hairdressing device which is particularly ergonomic to use, both for a user using the device on himself (user doing his own hair) and for a user using the device on another person (user styling another person), and this on all parts of the hair.
Another objective of the invention is to provide a hairdressing device which is particularly simple and intuitive to use.
Another objective of the invention is to provide a hairdressing device which is particularly comfortable to use.
Another objective of the invention is to provide a hairdressing device which is particularly safe.
Another objective of the invention is to provide a hairdressing device which is particularly reliable and robust.
Another objective of the invention is to propose a hairdressing device which is particularly economical to design and manufacture.
Another objective of the invention is to provide a hairdressing device which is particularly easy to repair.
Another objective of the invention is to provide a hairdressing device which is particularly effective for shaping hair, in particular for creating curls or waves or obtaining a "blow drying" effect on these. last.
These objectives are achieved using a hairdressing device as defined in
Thus several variants are provided for by the invention: in a first variant, the hairdressing appliance comprises a hairdressing accessory which is movable in rotation and motorized relative to the main body. The hairdressing device then forms what is commonly called a rotating brush. In a second variant, the device comprises a device for moving the air, such as for example a motor-fan assembly located in the main body, which is well known to those skilled in the art. The accessory is then designed to eject, that is to say blow, the air generated in the main body directly in contact with the hair. The hairdressing device then forms what is commonly called a blowing brush. In a third variant, the device combines the two previous variants and thus comprises a hairdressing accessory which is both rotary (motorized) and blowing, the hairdressing device then forms what is commonly called a rotating blowing brush. These three variants have the common problem that the direct manipulation of the hairdressing accessory by the hand of the user can present risks: in fact, when handling the hairdressing accessory, it can be in rotation and/or hot.
By handle, we mean for example any element allowing a user to grasp and manipulate the hairdressing appliance, such as a handle for example. The handle can advantageously form the main body or, on the contrary, be separated from the main body, while still being connected to the latter. Preferably the handle is aligned with the main body. In other words, the handle and the main body both extend along the first axis.
The hairdressing device is thus advantageously portable, that is to say it can be transported and oriented in space according to the user's wishes.
Preferably, the accessory has a revolution shape, and advantageously a cylindrical shape, which makes it possible to maximize the surface area coming into contact with the hair to shape it. In addition, such a shape makes it easier to rotate the accessory.
Advantageously, the accessory is removable, that is to say removable, that is to say that it is possible for the user to remove the accessory from the hairdressing appliance, that is that is to say to separate the accessory and the handle, for example to replace it with another accessory of a different size and/or shape. This allows the user to choose as they wish the hairstyle that they will create on their hair, in particular by being able to choose the diameter of the curls or waves that they will create using the accessory. This can also allow the user to choose the most suitable accessory depending on the nature of their hair.
Advantageously, the accessory comprises a contact surface intended to serve as a hair winding surface and a plurality of pins (or tufts of hair) projecting from said contact surface. Said plurality of pins allow you to grip the hair and, advantageously combined with the rotation of the accessory, to wrap it well around the winding surface. Preferably, the contact surface is a surface of revolution, advantageously cylindrical thus forming a mandrel on which the hair can wind automatically under the effect of the rotation of the accessory.
Advantageously, the rotation drive motor of the accessory is an electric motor. However, it is possible, without departing from the scope of the invention, that the expression "motor" could designate a motor driven by another energy, such as for example pneumatic, magnetic or even human energy.
- a first position in which said second axis and first axis form a flat angle between them,
- a second position in which said second axis and first axis form between them an angle different from the flat angle.
Comme cela est bien connu de l'homme du métier, l'expression « angle plat » définit un angle de 0° ou de 180°.As is well known to those skilled in the art, the expression “flat angle” defines an angle of 0° or 180°.
In other words, thanks to the invention, it is possible, advantageously at the initiative of the user of the device, to arrange the accessory in two distinct and different positions. In the first position, said first axis and second axis form a flat angle: they are therefore either aligned (that is to say merged) or parallel. Thus, in this first position, the accessory and the handle are either aligned (one being an extension of the other), (that is to say merged) or parallel. In the second position, said first axis and second axis form an angle which is not flat: they are therefore neither aligned, nor merged, nor parallel. Thus, in this second position, the accessory and the handle form an elbow, one being inclined relative to the other. Advantageously the positions retained are either a position in which the accessory is aligned with the main body, or a position in which the accessory is inclined relative to the main body.
Thus, thanks to said at least two positions of the accessory, it is possible for the user to orient the accessory as they wish in relation to the handle by which he holds the hairdressing appliance: the accessory is therefore orientable .
This remarkably improves the ergonomics of the hairdressing device, particularly for a user who uses the hairdressing device on himself (a user who therefore does his hair alone). Indeed, the user can use the hairdressing device which is the subject of the invention in the first position to shape his hair located on the side of his head, in a manner known as such. On the other hand, the user can also place the accessory of the hairdressing device which is the subject of the invention in the second position to shape his hair located at the back of his head and/or on the sides. of the head. The fact that the handle and the accessory are then angled relative to each other will prevent the user from having to "break their arm" (that is to say, raise their shoulder in order to deploy his arm perpendicular to his body, while bending his forearm completely back) to reach the hair behind his head. Dispensing with this complex and uncomfortable movement greatly improves the ergonomics of the hairdressing device and avoids any pain for the user. In addition, for shaping the hair arranged on the top of the head, it is not necessary for the user to raise the shoulder and their arm (that is to say, to form a right angle between his arm and his body): by placing the accessory in the second position, the user can reach the top of his head while keeping his arm and shoulder alongside the body.
The ergonomics of the hairdressing device as defined by the invention is also optimized for a user who would use the hairdressing device on a third person, for example for a hairdresser who would perform a hairstyle on a client. In fact, the user can place the accessory in the second position to easily reach the hair located on the top of the head of the person being styled, while keeping their arm alongside the body, a position which is particularly ergonomic. In addition, it is then possible for the user to remain at the same height of the person he or she is styling, relieving the user, for example, of having to stand.
Preferably, the accessory is movable between exactly the first position and the second position, that is to say that the accessory has only two possible positions each allowing the rotation of the accessory and/or the blowing of the air. In other words, there is no intermediate position allowing the device to function properly between the first position and the second position.
Advantageously, said first position and second position are stable positions and defined by design. In other words, the first position and the second position are pre-existing positions, defined by the designers of the device, in which the accessory is automatically held. This ensures that the user can only select the best positions of the device, those which guarantee the best ergonomics, positions which will have been carefully defined in advance by the designers of the device. This is particularly suitable for people new to hairdressing operations. Thus, the user cannot define said first position and second position, he can simply move the accessory between one and the other, the accessory being automatically maintained either in the first position or in the second position . This is particularly interesting for a user who does not have any particular knowledge of ergonomics or hairstyles, thus limiting the risk of error for the user. The stability of the accessory alternately in one or the other of said first and second positions ensures the proper maintenance of the accessory in the position chosen by the user (in this case the first or the second) , regardless of the effort applied to the accessory. This therefore avoids any accidental or unwanted movement of the accessory, particularly during hair styling operations where significant forces can be exerted on the accessory, efforts which tend to cause the accessory to move and therefore make him leave his position.
Advantageously, the second axis forms an angle α different from the right angle with the first axis when the accessory is in the second position. In other words, when the accessory is in the second position, the angle formed between the first axis and the second axis is different from 90°. This helps to improve the ergonomics of using the hairdressing device as explained previously. For example, said angle α is between 100° and 170°, preferably between 130° and 170° and advantageously equal to 150°. Indeed, the designers of the device noticed that these angle ranges were particularly advantageous for optimizing the ergonomics of the hairdressing device while maintaining excellent hairdressing performance, whether for a user using the device on itself or for a user using the device on a third person, as explained previously.
According to the invention, the main body comprises a joint located between and connecting the handle and the accessory. Thus a joint placed between the handle and the accessory allows the user to move the accessory between the first position and the second position as desired and with complete ease.
More precisely, the joint comprises a first part integral with the handle, that is to say fixed to and fixed relative to the handle. The joint also includes a second movable part between said first and second positions. Indifferently, the joint can be a part in its own right, that is to say a part or a set of parts placed between the handle and the accessory, or be formed directly by the handle on the one hand and the accessory on the other hand. Preferably, said first part then forms a first inclined side and the second part forms a second inclined side, said first inclined side and second inclined side being movable relative to each other so as to make the accessory evolve. between said first position and second position. The use of inclined sides to make the joint provides a robust, reliable, inexpensive and easy-to-use joint.
The joint, and in particular said second part, comprises a mobile locking device between a free position, allowing the accessory to move between said first position and second position, and a locked position blocking said accessory in one of said first position or second position (that is to say alternately in one and the other of said first and second position ), position having been chosen by the user. In other words, the blocking device is mounted on the movable part of the joint (the second part). The blocking device is then secured to the second axis. This allows the user to directly manipulate the moving part of the joint by the locking device, and not by the accessory, thus avoiding any risk of injury linked to direct manipulation of the accessory which may be in danger. rotation and/or hot.
Advantageously, the blocking device comprises a third control device designed to be actuated by at least one finger of the user when he wishes to move the accessory from the first position to the second position or vice versa. Preferably, the blocking device projects radially from the second part, that is to say it extends in a direction perpendicular to the second axis.
Preferably, the third control device is designed to be actuated by two fingers of the user, for example by the thumb and the index finger. For example, the third control device comprises two diametrically opposed push buttons. Advantageously, the blocking device is arranged at a distance from the accessory, it is therefore distinct from the accessory, while being integral with the accessory. Thus, thanks to one or other of these characteristics, the user knows precisely where to place his fingers when he wishes to orient the accessory in relation to the handle, which discourages him from directly manipulating the accessory by rotation and/or hot, thus avoiding any risk of injury. The safety and ergonomics of the hairdressing device are therefore improved.
Such a blocking device makes it possible to ensure the automatic maintenance of the accessory in one or other of said first or second positions (that is to say alternately in one and the other of said first and second position) according to the user's wishes, in a safe, reliable and inexpensive manner. In order to improve the intuitive handling of the device, said free position is preferably an unstable position while said locked position is a stable position.
According to one embodiment of the invention, the rotation drive motor of the accessory is located inside said accessory. This embodiment is particularly well suited in the advantageous case where the accessory is hollow and cylindrical.
According to a variant of the invention, the hairdressing appliance comprises a device for moving air between an air inlet and an air outlet. Thus, the hairdressing appliance is then advantageously designed to blow air towards, and advantageously in contact with, the hair in order to ensure the drying and/or shaping of the latter. In this variant, the main body includes the air inlet and the accessory includes the air outlet. Even more preferably, the handle may comprise the air inlet. The path for the air flow can then be as follows: the air is sucked in by an air inlet, advantageously located at one end of the handle, passes into the main body, then into the accessory, before be evacuated through the air outlet. Advantageously, the air outlet comprises a plurality of holes (or orifices), which has the effect of uniformly diffusing the air towards the hair.
According to the previous embodiment, the hairdressing appliance comprises an air heating device, advantageously arranged inside the main body, and preferably inside the handle.

The embodiment of the invention illustrated by the different figures is an embodiment in which the hairdressing appliance which is the subject of the invention is a blowing brush, that is to say, an appliance combining the drying functions and hair brushing. More precisely, the device illustrated is a rotating blower brush, that is to say that the device, in addition to being able to blow hot air, has a motorized rotating accessory making it possible to make curls or waves in the hair, as will be detailed later.
The

The
We can see in the figures that the

The
The hairdressing appliance also comprises a motor for driving the
The motor for driving the
Thus, the rotation drive motor of the
As can be seen in the different figures, the

More precisely, the guiding and hooking
In the first position, the entire joint 12 is oriented along the first axis P-P', that is to say that the
In the second position, the
- a first position in which said second axis AA' and first axis PP' form a flat angle between them, that is to say a position in which the
accessory 2 is located in alignment with themain body 1 as can be see it on thefigures 1, 2 And5 ; - a second position in which said second axis AA' and first axis PP' form between them an angle different from the flat angle, that is to say a position in which the
accessory 2 forms an elbow with themain body 1 as can be seen on thefigures 3, 4 And6 .
As explained previously, according to the construction retained in the embodiment illustrated and detailed previously, the joint 12 is designed to be movable between exactly two positions: the first position or the second position. Consequently, the
We could however imagine, without departing from the scope of the invention, that the
