Description

The invention relates to an extractor hood according to the preamble of claim 1, comprising a housing with a suction area for vapors and a blower unit arranged in the housing, the suction side of which is fluidly connected to the suction area, the blower unit being at least partially surrounded by a noise-reducing device which is used for Impeding the propagation of the operating noise of the blower unit comprises at least one layer having a perforated plate and a layer having a porous material.

From the prior art, for example, according to DE 44 43 176 a reduced noise extractor hood is known. The extractor hood has a housing, the inner surfaces of which are partially equipped with a sound-blocking material. Another type of noise reduction is from the utility model DE 299 16 895 is known, in which case the inner surface of the chimney housing of the extractor hood is provided with surface-filling sound-blocking material. Another embodiment of the prior art discloses the DE 197 06 305 , wherein there are two suction fans in the extractor hood described there, which are partially surrounded by a sound-absorbing foam molding. Finally, with regard to the prior art, the WO 2008/090080 A1 referenced, which also discloses noise-reduced extractor hood, in which sound-blocking material is provided in the inflow duct of the blower unit.

In all of these noise-barrier devices known from the prior art, it is considered disadvantageous that a successful noise barrier is only achieved at a thickness of the noise-barrier device that corresponds to approximately ¼ of the wavelength, in particular of the problematic frequencies of the noise. Especially at low frequencies, very thick noise-reducing devices, in particular sound absorbers, are therefore required. For example, for the frequency 1,000 Hz, this results in an optimal thickness of 80 mm. In most cases, however, the space available, for example, for extractor hoods, only allows the thickness of the noise barrier device to be 10 to 40 mm.

The invention thus presents the problem of developing an extractor hood, and here in particular a noise-reducing device for an extractor hood, which overcomes the disadvantages described, wherein the noise barrier device should in particular be able to provide a broadband noise barrier.

According to the invention, this problem is solved with an extractor hood with the features of claim 1. Advantageous refinements and developments of the invention result from the following subclaims.

Accordingly, an extractor hood according to the invention is characterized in that a layer comprising a fibrous material is provided in the sound-blocking device, which is arranged relative to the blower unit in front of the layer comprising the porous material, the fibrous material permitting the passage of sound and the passage of Fat and moisture at least hampered. It is advantageous here that the sound can pass through the layer containing the fibrous material and thus penetrate into the further layers of the sound barrier device better than is possible in the previously known prior art, where a film-like layer is used as protection against fat and moisture is coming. The fibrous material can be, for example, a nonwoven or the like.

The extractor hood according to the invention is further distinguished by the fact that the blower unit is assigned a frame frame unit, the sound-blocking device comprising at least one cassette-like sound-blocking unit and the cassette-like sound-blocking unit being removably insertable into the frame frame unit. An advantage of the cassette-like construction is the simple interchangeability of the individual noise-reducing units. It is also conceivable to initially offer an extractor hood without a noise barrier device but with an existing frame unit in the area of the blower unit and additionally separately the cassette-like noise barrier units, so that a customer can retrofit the noise barrier device at a later time if necessary. According to an advantageous embodiment, it is proposed that the sound barrier device be constructed in a sandwich-like manner and comprise at least one further layer. Advantageously, the sound obstruction device impedes sound waves with low frequencies, in particular in the range> 1,200 Hz and / or sound waves with high frequencies, in particular in the range <1,200 Hz, and in particular the sound obstruction device is designed for broadband sound obstruction. This advantageous effect can be achieved through the multi-layered, in particular sandwich-like structure of the noise barrier device and in particular through the nature and the Sequence of the individual layers, which are to be selected depending on the application depending on the sound frequencies to be impeded.

As a further layer, the sound barrier device preferably comprises a soundproof wall, in particular a wall formed from solid sheet metal. Particularly preferably, the sound barrier device comprises, as a further layer, a tensioned elastic membrane, in particular an elastic membrane formed from film, rubber or thin sheet metal, the membrane being attached to a frame or to a preceding or subsequent layer of porous material or a layer having a perforated sheet, and in particular is glued. Particularly preferably, the sound barrier device comprises an air layer as a further layer, which is arranged in particular between the layer having an elastic membrane and the adjacent layer, which has a perforated plate or a soundproof wall, the air layer in particular having a thickness of 1/6 of the total thickness of all layers who has sound impairment.

According to a particularly advantageous embodiment, the sound-blocking device comprises at least one layer which at least partially dampens and / or absorbs the sound and at least one layer which at least partially reflects the sound, a layer comprising a porous material or an elastic membrane being a sound-absorbing or sound-absorbing layer Has an effect and has a layer having a perforated plate or a reverberant wall with a sound-reflecting effect. In a preferred development, at least one layer that at least partially dampens or absorbs the sound is arranged between a layer that at least partially reflects the sound and a further layer that at least partially reflects the sound.

According to an expedient embodiment, the porous material is a foam, in particular Basotect foam or melamine foam, or rock wool. The aforementioned hard wall is preferably formed by a wall of the housing of the extractor hood.

According to a particularly advantageous embodiment of the noise barrier device, it comprises at least two layers having a perforated plate, the free area of the perforation of the perforated plate being, in particular, at least 60% of the total area of the perforated plate and greater than that of the layer closer to the blower unit the free area of the perforation of the perforated sheet of the at least one further layer of these at least two layers, in which the free area of the perforations is in particular at least 40% of the total area of the perforated sheet.

Preferably, the sound barrier device comprises at least two layers having a porous material, the layer closer to the blower unit relative to the blower unit having a material with a larger pore diameter or lower density than the porous material of the at least one further layer of these at least two layers. A relatively large-pored porous material for absorbing low frequencies and a relatively small-pored material for absorbing high frequencies are advantageously suitable and provided.

In a preferred embodiment of the sound barrier device, it comprises at least two layers having an elastic membrane, the elastic membrane being thinner than the elastic membrane of the at least one further layer of the at least two layers in the layer closer to the blower unit of these at least two layers. Here, a relatively thin membrane for absorbing low frequencies and a relatively thick membrane for absorbing high frequencies are advantageously suitable and provided.

Depending on the embodiment, the advantages that can be achieved with the invention are, in particular, that noise, even at lower frequencies, is significantly reduced even with a relatively thin structure, which can be attributed to the multilayer, in particular sandwich-like structure. The sound barrier device is preferably constructed in a layer combination of layers with porous material, as a rule rock wool, foam and layers with a membrane or plate vibrator. The membrane or the plate vibrator takes the vibrational energy from the sound, especially at lower frequencies. A preferred use of several parallel perforated plates creates chambers that use the principle of sound reflection. The sound passes through the interior several times, which results in the sound pressure amplitudes being averaged, which results in a reduction in the sound pressure peaks. Particularly preferably, the following layer sequence, starting with the layer closest to the blower unit, is provided as a structure for a broadband sound barrier device: the first layer comprises a perforated plate whose free area is at least 60% of the total area of the perforated plate. The perforation is largely evenly distributed. The single hole should have a maximum area of approx. 0.005% of the total area of the perforated plate. The second layer has a fleece as a fibrous material, which has a sound-permeable but moisture and fat-repellent property and is therefore particularly suitable as a steam and fat lock acts. A porous material consisting mainly of rock wool or foam, for example Basotect foam, is used as the third layer. The fourth layer in turn comprises a perforated plate, the free area of which is at least 40% of the total area of the perforated plate. The perforation is evenly distributed, the single hole should have a maximum area of approx. 0.0025% of the total area of the perforated plate. The fifth layer is a thin elastic membrane (plate vibrator) that is stretched over the fourth layer. The sixth layer is kept here as an air layer with a thickness of approx. 1/6 of the total thickness of the sound barrier device. Finally, a seventh layer is provided, which can be a reverberant wall, such as a solid sheet, as a finishing layer.

The Figure 1 shows a perspective view of a noise barrier device 1, which for example in Figure 5 Extractor hood 15 shown is determined. In the housing 16 of the extractor hood 15, a blower unit 2 is arranged, the suction side 3 of which is fluidically connected to the suction area 17 of the extractor hood 15. The blower unit 2 is, as shown, at least partially surrounded by the sound-blocking device 1, which at least significantly prevents the propagation of the operating noise of the blower unit 2. As shown, the sound obstruction device 1 in this case comprises two sound obstruction units 4 and 5, which have a sandwich-like construction with sound-absorbing and sound-reflecting units Layers of material are provided to provide broadband noise reduction. The cassette-like sound obstruction units 4 and 5 are essentially aligned in the housing 16 of the extractor hood 15 or to the blower unit 2, the cassette-like sound obstruction units 4 and 5 being insertable into and removable from a frame frame unit 20, as shown in FIG the Figure 1 is shown. Here, a noise-reducing unit 4, 5 is provided in the frame unit 20 on both sides of the blower unit 2.

As especially from the Figure 2 5, the first layer comprises a perforated plate 6, the free area of which is at least 60% of the total area of the perforated plate. The perforation is largely evenly distributed. The second layer has a fleece 11 as a fibrous material, which has a sound-permeable but moisture and fat-repellent property and thus acts in particular as a vapor and fat barrier. A porous material 12 consisting of Basotect foam is used as the third layer. The fourth layer in turn comprises a perforated plate 7, the free area of which is at least 40% of the total area of the perforated plate and the perforation is evenly distributed. The fifth layer is a thin elastic membrane 13, which is therefore stretched over the perforated plate 7 on the fourth layer. The sixth layer is provided here as an air layer 14 with a thickness of approx. 1/6 of the total thickness of the sound barrier unit 4 or 5. Finally, a seventh layer is provided, which is a soundproof wall 8 made of a solid sheet metal as the final layer.

According to an advantageous embodiment of the invention, the reverberant end wall 8 can be the chimney wall of the housing 16 of the extractor hood.

As especially from the Figure 1 , 2nd , and 4th It can be seen that the free area of the perforations of the first perforated plate is at least 60% of the total area of the first perforated plate, the free area of the perforations of the second perforated plate 7, not shown in more detail, being at least 40% of the total area of the second perforated plate 7. The air layer as such takes up about 1/6 of the total thickness of the sound-blocking unit 4, 5.
