Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Teilnehmersimulationseinheit (9, 9a) zur Prüfung einer Funktionalität einer Strommesseinheit (8) einer Kommunikationsschaltung (2) einer Gefahrenmeldezentrale (1), wobei die Gefahrenmeldezentrale (1) über eine Teilnehmerschleife (11) mit einer Vielzahl von Teilnehmern (12) verbindbar ist, wobei die Kommunikationsschaltung (2) zur Kommunikation mit den einzelnen Teilnehmern (12) und zu deren Steuerung ausgestaltet ist: Die Teilnehmersimulationseinheit (9, 9a) ist zur Erzeugung eines vorbestimmten Stromimpulses ausgestaltet, wobei sie in die Kommunikationsschaltung (2) integriert oder integrierbar ist oder mit der Kommunikationsschaltung (2) verbindbar ist.
